Great Breakfast place to eat when in Greely. We will definitely be back when visiting our daughter at UNC

Food and service were great. I had literally just walked out of Oak and Maple, as I sat there ignored and finally left after 15 mins. I walked into country inn. And immediately I was greeted and in my seat. Then as soon as I sat, a waitress was there and took my drink order. Then came back and took my food order. The service was great. The food was great. If you want some local downright amazing home cooked meal, this is the place! There was SO much to choose from. I ordered the Canadian omlete, which consisted of an omlete with mushrooms and onions with big pieces of ham on top, topped with holindase sauce, hashbrowns and a choice of pancakes or toast. I chose pancakes, of course. All of it was amazing. The best was the syrup they used. I can't pinpoint what it is, but it's not your everyday syrup. Had a holiday taste to it, and the pancakes were fluffy and perfect. Sadly, I'll be leaving this hidden gem in a few days. When I come back I will definitely be back read more

We love the Country Inn. After the renovation a few years ago it has always been really consistent. The owners are always present so it feels very local and home-like. It has a pretty large menu and definitely draws from the southwestern roots. Definitely great for an after church meal or a solid choice for families read more

We've eaten here in the past and it was great.. NOT TODAY!! Slow service! Crappy service! Wasn't told they were out of sausage links and assumed we'd eat whatever they would throw on our plates then expected to us to pay $8 for sausage patties! When it was their mistake!! The waitress didn't bring out coffee refills until we were getting ready to leave and forgot our toast until we were almost done! IT SUCKED!! Classic diner. Even after the rebuild the decor is dated, but I kind of think that is how a diner is supposed to feel - like it has been there forever. My stand-by is the bacon and egg breakfast. The bacon is usually crispy, which I prefer. The eggs are always scrambled well. The hash browns are from scratch and delicious. These are real potatoes, not the over-fried crispy sticks you get most places. French toast is pretty good too. Their breakfast burrito is literally the size of a plate. Breakfast sausage for the meat, but all goes well under their green chile. Recommend if you are looking for quality diner-style breakfast and can get over the quirky decor. read more

This is by far our favorite place to go out for breakfast! ...and many others favorite too, judging by how many people are there most of the time! We are always greeted with a smile when we come in! Many times we are recognized by the hostess, and escorted to the section of our favorite server, Oi (sorry if I misspelled that!). Drinks are always promptly brought out, and most of the time it's even before we order, as our server knows what we like! Refills are very timely, along with the time it takes to get your food! You'd think with so many people there, it would take a while; but it's always super fast! Portions are amazing, and you won't go home hungry! Prices are extremely reasonable! We're rather fond of this restaurant! The food is just simple dishes with simple cooking and sometimes that's all you want. You probably don't want to expect much from their steaks, but it's not a steakhouse. The club croissant is my favorite item. I know they raised prices, but still worth the money! The staff is always friendly to us and it seems they have to put up with more than their fair share of a-hole customers! So give them a break, please! read more

I had to give a star, I would rather have given none. This place is so run down, between the filthy carpets, torn wallpaper everywhere, almost every chair/ booth is badly torn, very outdated, unmatched, plain dirty! The side door which we were seated by didn't even close. They had put a slide lock on the bottom to hold it shut, and it still wasn't even closed. I figured I would try the food as there have been places I have gone to that were run down before. I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet. The meat was something you would find in the freezer section in the convenient store. It was cold and rubbery. I ate one egg and I was so done with this place. Visiting from California, my cousin took us to this diner she stated the food had like a home made feel to it. The wait was not long we got seated pretty fast, the place inside looks run down their decor is "vintage/old" the carpet should be taken out in my opinion. But i don't care much about their theme going on. My food was ok, eatable. Regular French toast hash brown bacon and sausage nothing special. My server Sara though was all over the place she took our order pretty quick kinda felt like she was rushing us. She brought everyone coffee, but forgot my OJ until our food came out and I reminded her for it. She got my fiancé's food wrong we had to flag her down she took it back and got him the correct plate he ordered. We ate and waited for our check, I tried to flag her down told her we were ready for the check she ignored me, I know she heard me since she was right next to our table but she didn't bother. We waited a bit more until we decided to just get up and pay in the front. Once we were up there paying our waiter noticed we left and she finally decided to go and thank us smh. read more
