Inside the door and to the right is Rigo's!

We were in Greeley for baseball and decided to try someplace new and chose Rigo's based on several positive reviews --boy are we glad we did! Don't be fooled by this unassuming little restaurant, and make sure you give it a try. We started with Rigo's chips and salsa. The salsa was fresh and delicious with just a little bite. We decided to give the Chili Relleno Burrito a try. It was spectacular! On the side we had refried pinto beans (so good) and potatoes (cooked to crisp perfection with peppers, onions, and tomatoes). Our service was excellent! Our waitress was delightful and very attentive. But the very best thing about this restaurant was the owner himself. Rigo came from the kitchen to the dining room to meet us and to reassure us that if anything was not to our liking, we were to let him know and he would make it right. Not surprisingly, because of the pride he takes in his establishment, everything was perfect from the start! The food was delicious, the service was spectacular, but the owner truly was the icing on the cake! That you, Rigo! We'll certainly be back!

Was on a greeley fb page and saw a post about this place not getting much business. Looked at the menu and thought we would give it a try. The food was at an amazing price and amazing sizes! The food was delicious! I'll be honest it's hard finding some good Mexican restaurants in noco but this place is part of my top 10 places for good Mexican. We went after the post was made and man did greeley show up for these people! It was packed so of course service was a bit slow. However, you have to consider they weren't expecting half of greeley to show up that night! Lol the owner saw how distressed the waitresses were so he jumped in to Help. He was amazing! Cannot believe this place isn't on the map yet. Highly recommend! The rigo special is a great plate to start with!

Rigo's is a great, authentic Mexican food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is nice and clean, and the staff is super friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the chimichanga plate and it was delicious. If I'm ever in the Greeley area again, I will be back. Great good, good service.

It's amazing how much work goes into it, and how complicated it is, and I'm sure everything we saw and were told is only the tip of the iceberg. Our guide Steve was as great a guide as you could ask for. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and informative, and oh, did I mention? He's one of the OGs who started WeldWerks 11 years ago! Besides the tour itself, which alone made the whole experience worth it, we were treated to samples of recent beer, an in-progress taste of Flipped Turned Upside Down (which I absolutely plan to get once the final product hits), fresh-from-the-tank Juicy Bits, and a grand finale flight of hoppy beers that showcase WeldWerks' variety. We also got take as many beer labels from a table as we wanted, and a got a 15% off for today only on purchases from the taproom (a bought another flight, a beer to go, and a sticker). If you missed out on this, don't worry, because WeldWerks is doing a few more tours this year, each with a different theme--today's was "Hops & Hazies". The next will be classic beers like lagers, and I believe the remaining two will be based around barrel-aged beers, and sours. Check it out on Facebook's Events tab. I thought this experience paid for itself several times. P.S.: Steve at the end was discussing things with us, and he happened to mention The Shining, as there is a mural painted on the wall in honor of it in the barrel room, and suddenly the power went out. I told him I will now call the Scarlet Static red ale "Redrum".

The flavor was very bland-- mostly just tomato sauce and cheese without much depth-- and the crust was overly doughy, almost undercooked. The bigger issue was the service and overall operation. They're listed as opening at 11 AM, but when I arrived with another customer, the doors didn't even open until 11:10 AM. Even then, they clearly weren't ready to be open. There were no slices available, and it didn't feel like they were anywhere close to being prepared for customers. The atmosphere didn't help either. The interaction felt somewhat rude and dismissive, with a lot of excuses instead of solutions. There is a sign stating "no public restrooms," which I initially didn't realize also applied to paying customers. During my visit, two different people came in asking to use the restroom-- want to use it in another just to wash their hands-- and both were returned away. After the second request, the employee put "out of order" signs on both of the restroom doors, which felt misleading. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and underwhelming. The food is mediocre, and the service doesn't make up for it.

But even though I really like salt (it's fat free!), the patties were too salty for me. Speaking of salt, does Fat Shack know there are other seasonings for fries? My SUPER salty fries seemed to have no other seasoning. Fat Shack's management needs to take a field trip to Red Robin, to study how they season their fries. A pet peeve of mine is when you're the customer, you say "thank you", and the person *you're giving money to* says nothing. Doesn't matter if it's in the checkout line at the grocery store, or when someone brings your food to the table as happened here. In fairness, 10 minutes later he did ask how everything was from across the room, and I (untruthfully) gave a thumbs-up. Fat Shack and every other restaurant asking for tips before service need to just stop. It's a hostage situation: "We're about to cook your food and can do whatever we want to it; would you like to tip?"

The staff was AMAZING! The person that sat us was super friendly, our server was amazing and friendly, and even the cook all went out if the way for us. I actually used the online ordering system to understand how and what I could order. Mynhubby got a side of hashbrowns and a side of "turkey sausage " which is turkey sausage with green chillies. He lived this sausage but had a but of heat. The side if 2 patties is $4.75. I got an omelet with sliced turkey (deli turkey) and pesto. Gluten-free toast (which was a slice of seeded GF) and I got the hasbrowns lightly done (which is soft). I cannot have dairy so there was no cheese in my omelet but when I told the server the cook and him were worried with the butter and the cook wanted me to make sure the hashbrowns would be ok giving me a sample. Way above and beyond IMO. The omelet was so yummy. We also got latte which we enjoyed and happy since the coffee shops in the area were not open. We would go back here and try lunch if we were in the area.
