2.5, edging down to 2 stars…read more Not the best food experience I've ever had. They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.

We ordered a hamburger chicken tenders, and fish and chips. The hamburger was good. The chicken tenders (half) were good the other half were about 1/8" thick if that, literally breading no chicken and the fish and chips was completely burnt. I realize there are limited food options in Fort Collins's but don't waste your time here.

He noted the newish air hockey table and large selection of pinball options. To my great surprise, my favorite pinball machine of all time is here. It's from the 90s and isn't seen much nowadays. Then, I noted the beer list. More quality/local brews and less swill than in similar arcades in the Denver area. Nicely done. Air hockey delivered with strong jets and a long play time. Kicker: It was only 50 cents. There's no card to buy to put money on first for "convenience." I got a replay on that pinball game on the first try. High score. I appreciate that quarters are the way here. No tokens to be left over and wasted or require a trip back to use. I appreciate that Street Figher II costs but a quarter. The only negative I have is that, like at Denver arcades, the buttons on this game are beaten down and don't respond quickly, at times not at all. Overall, this was an upgrade for us versus our usual spots down South and it'll be on my mind next time I'm in Ft. Fun.

The speakeasy vibe is authentic without feeling gimmicky, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully designed. It's a super cool speakeasy with a warm, inviting interior that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We shared the charcuterie board, which was excellent, and enjoyed both the champagne and the bourbon. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Ryan, our bartender, really made the experience special. He treated us exceptionally well, made us feel genuinely welcome, and provided outstanding service throughout the evening. What started as a plan to enjoy happy hour turned into one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had in a long time. It's the perfect place for a date night or simply a relaxing evening with exceptional food, outstanding cocktails, and an atmosphere that's second to none. We'll definitely be back now that we live here in Fort Collins. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Fort Collins, Social is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!
