Not sure what the appeal of this place is. We thought it would be an awesome dive bar. Small down place with great personal service. We walked in. No one said anything. We sat down. Looked around. Waited. No service at all. We literally got up and left.

I absolutely love this little old bar! Everyone there is so kind and treats each other like family. The drinks are affordable and the service is always wonderful. Yes, the bathrooms are small but thats my favorite part! It's so authentic and really goes to show how long this place has been around. I can't wait until the next time I get to go here! Oh and don't forget to get some of their legendary toxic cherries, they'll get 'cha!

I believe it's the smallest pub in FOCO, but don't hold me to it. I only stopped in for some atomic cherries. They're soaked in some kind of boozed . They are certainly atomic and a must try!

The Town Pump is about as big as a gas station bathroom. I didn't care how small the bar was...this place is awesome! Talking to the bartender, legally the bar can hold 40 people. There seemed to be a small patio for the overflow. My brother and I walked in here while the girls were doing their shopping, and we were glad we found it. Since it was an afternoon, there were only a hand full of people at the bar watching the Sunday football games on the bars three TVs. The bar is decorated with an eclectic mix of crap and witty bumper stickers...all make for a good conversation piece, especially the spotlighted chastity belt. If you think the bar is small, you'll change your mind once you visit the bathroom. Their airplane sized bathrooms are decorated with your typical drunkard chicken scratch. It's amazing how many people piss with pens in their pocket. The Town Pump is a full bar offering a decent selection of local beer. They also offer some good specials as well. If I lived in town I would definitely give the Town Pump several visits, and if I were a CSU student it would be a regular stop. If it's a fun place when it's empty, it can only get better when the crowd shows up. **This bar is cash only**

This tiny bar is a must visit while in Fort Collins. I loved the narrow space (maybe 20 seats total) and the friendly, local atmosphere. Happy hour is 3-8 everyday which included Coors beers and some local pulls. Their drink prices are very reasonable all the time though. We tried the New Belgium Cascadar Quad and a local milk Stout, both of which were great and our tab was under $9. The Wizard of Oz set to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon was running on loop, which was pretty fun. The place was rather dead on a Monday night, but we enjoyed hearing the local banter and sitting back to people-watch. It's nice to find a quaint subsection of the town and enjoy the atmosphere. They had a good selection of local Fort Collins beers, expected in this beer-centric town.

Not only is this the smallest bar in Fort Collins, it is also one of only three operating with a tavern license (no food but plenty of booze). This place is great, quick bartenders, jello shots (you heard right), atomic cherries and oranges and a wealth of knowledge contained in the bumperstickers that littler the bar. Pro Tip: The Pump is cash only so bring a wad. There is an ATM inside but it is ghetto with a steep fee.

    best bar in foco!

This is the best bar in Fort Collins - and not just because my close friend Luci works here. It is a true, bonified DIVE BAR. Not a bar posing as a dive bar. It's been around for a hundred years. It's small. It's cozy. The bathrooms are small boxes, with every square inch covered in drunken scrawls. (I have a penchant for bathroom graffiti : for a good time, call ..) The drinks are inexpensive -- they serve Fort Collins brewed beers on tap. The only accept CASH! But don't worry, there's an ATM by the bathrooms. Town Pump is authentic.

    Christina S.

Despite the warnings of this being a 'cash only' bar, I think it's nice to pay as you go and not worry about closing out a tab. It's a great place to pop in for a shot or quick round of alcohol infused fruit. It is also an equally good place to people watch!

They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.

We originally planned to stay for happy hour, but ended up spending nearly three hours there because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Social is one of those rare places that completely lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk downstairs, the atmosphere transports you to another era. The speakeasy vibe is authentic without feeling gimmicky, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully designed. It's a super cool speakeasy with a warm, inviting interior that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We shared the charcuterie board, which was excellent, and enjoyed both the champagne and the bourbon. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Ryan, our bartender, really made the experience special. He treated us exceptionally well, made us feel genuinely welcome, and provided outstanding service throughout the evening. What started as a plan to enjoy happy hour turned into one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had in a long time.
