I went with Patrick's company because they provided me with the cheapest quote. I clearly made a mistake with that choice. Part of my furniture broke and they didn't fix it. They took forever, even said they didn't have me on their schedule the morning of my move. This young boy didn't even come out of the truck to help move stuff, which added to why it took so long. I had to to transfer a very large amount of items from Manhattan to a storage facility in the Bronx and some of the equipment were commercial grade and not easy to move. But this company did a phenomenal job and their quote was much lower then some of other big name companies out there. These guys are TRUE HEROS! I cannot say enough nice things about your company Patrick! I have used Patrick's twice, once for a BIG move in 2016 and again now in 2018 for my first move to my first ever apartment. I was going through a really high stress period this time and on top of that, deal with neuropathy in both legs which sometimes causes my whole body to go weak and just shut down. The day of my move I got to that point where I felt so weak from my disability and had intense fatigue that I could not pack any more items (I had about 2-3 more boxes to pack) and the guys that came said not to worry and they packed the remaining items for me prior to loading them on the truck (this was Peter, TJ and Presley). Not only did they pack them for me, these were items that were fragile and irreplaceable and without even telling them, they bubbled wrapped them and put two of my pillows in the box so that they would not break. While unpacking this box I was shocked to see that none of these items were broken in any way. (I've heard so many stories from friends who used other companies that mover's broke things or tossed things and I really appreciate that everything arrived safely and unbroken; thank you all so much!). Anytime I hear of someone moving, I am going to highly recommend that they use Patrick's (I've already told one of my family members who is going to be using them for her move in a few months). Patrick himself is also a very kind gentleman and genuinely cares for his customers and asked how I like my new place and showed much kindness toward me. We moved back in August 2015 and just settled into our home, this five star review is past due and well deserved! From in home estimate, pricing, booking (scheduler VERY polite, straight to the point) and to the workers, these guys are the real deal. We moved from Kensignton in Brooklyn to Orangeburg, NY. The workers wrapped every single item we had, as professional as it gets. We have a toddler and she adored the workers who seemed very comfortable with a 2 year old in their way (our bad). I just had my first "grown-up move" where I didn't ask friends to to help with the uhaul and we used Patrick Moving Company. I was very nervous, I've heard stories about people not showing up, broken items, the price changing once the stuff was on the truck. But I had nothing to worry about the guys (which included one of the Patricks!) were great, they were professional, friendly and very helpful. I would reccommend them (and have already) to anyone. FYI - we had a move from a co-op to a house in lower Westchester and it was completed in half a day. read more

The workers scratched my hardwood floors and my banister. Patrick came to assess, would not immediately accept that the damage was even done by then, in fact denied it, saying they wouldn't put things on the railing, etc etc. and then said he was going to call his floor guy. Well 2 weeks have past and he just says he is calling his floor guy but nothing happens. So I am stuck with a bunch of scratches and a huge gouge in my hardwood from them sliding couches across the floor and dropping a couch on it. I can't recommend Patrick moving company. If he fixes the scratches I will remove the review. read more

We moved from midtown Manhattan to just outside of Asheville, North Carolina in September. Patrick was one of 4 companies that I interviewed to move all of our possessions. When he showed up, I was immediately impressed with how professional and relaxed he was. I explained that I wanted a straight shot down with no consolidation. He said that he would be able to do it and had a truck that was perfect. He also quoted us a price for everything including the wrapping of fragile items. When I made the decision to work with him (to be clear, he was a bit more expensive than the other quotes, but he guaranteed delivery two days after pick up. It would have been the next day in fact if we were ready for him! How many movers can do this? During the time leading up to the move, I reached out to him with questions and concerns and he always responded. In fact, he would even stop by to discuss specifics and help me understand he process. The day before the move, his crew showed up and wrapped all of the fragile items and reviewed the inventory. They were absolutely courteous and thorough. On the day of the move, the same; total professionalism. Our possessions pretty much filled their 26 footer as Patrick had anticipated. They locked it up and headed south. We arrived there two days later and Patrick and one of his colleagues were already unloading the truck. What a wonderful sight to see that you things are being moved into your house when you arrive from a big transition as opposed to waiting for a window from the movers to come to you. We had some VERY minor damage to a few items that Patrick pointed out to me, but given the size of the move and the haul, it was nothing. These guys are the best and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Spend the extra bit and know that you are in good hands. read more

Terrible service this moving company provided. All the movers did was complain about the work they were hired to do, and they were totally unprofessional. Some of the moving crew was using foul language while they were in my house, and they got an attitude when I asked them to be more careful with my belongings. I actually had to go back to my apartment with a friend the day after the move and pick up things that the movers had left. I shouldn't have had to do that as that is what I paid the moving company $1,300 to do. In addition to that, my computer, elliptical, bed frame and nightstand were damaged. I wish I had completed the move with a couple of friends as I would have saved $1,300 and a headache. Find another moving company, or do it yourself with a couple of your friends. read more
