Hole in the wall family owned Italian restaurant that makes their pasta from scratch. The pasta flavor is phenomenal and this place is a must try. They also have a selection of wines and staff was helpful in suggesting pairings with our food. My husband frequently orders delivery from them and has a good experience with the deliveries. The price to quality ratio is great and this place is a true hidden gem in Miami.

While on a quick trip to Miami, I found myself in Miami Shores for the last night. I googled the best Italian restaurant and Pastamarket came up! I love little mom and pop establishments so let's do it! When our party arrived there looked to be what may have been a manager sitting in the patio area. He did not greet us. Strange. We walked towards the door and immediately a server came out asked us how many in our party and sat us down. We ordered two appetizers that were good. I ordered a Cesar Salad and when it arrived it was a chopped Cesar. Definitely different from your classic Cesar. I took two bites and ouch! There was a sharp plastic that I took a bite of. Since the server was in view I raised my hand and he quickly came over. I took the plastic out of my mouth to show him. He asked if I'd like a new salad. (Whomp whomp) Of course I do! He then asks if I'd prefer the lettuce large and I say please! When he brought it back he said the plastic was part of the bag. (Eww) On to dinner, the spaghetti bolognese was perfect! The spaghetti was made Al Dente! Oooooohhh how I love an Italian restaurant that makes their pasta correctly! Probably the best spaghetti I've had in a long time! Time for the bill! To my surprise the salad was left on bill, found that to be strange. However I didn't say anything. I like restaurants to be who they are on my first date. It establishes whether I'll be back or not. Service was lacking. The gentleman who was sitting outside was definitely a manager or maybe an owner. The fact that he never came to apologize about the salad mishap was a negative for me. Even just welcoming us would have been hospitable. My tea never got refilled the entire meal and I wasn't going to ask unless offered. Overall, good food! I wouldn't drive to the Shores for this experience but would definitely come back if I was in the area.

If you're in the mood for pasta, you must try out Pasta Market! We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a variety of homemade pasta dishes including funghi, bolognese, and more. Huge portions of pasta, that will leave you full and perhaps taking leftovers home. Indoor and outdoor seating, paid street parking close by.

If you're looking for fresh authentic homemade pasta, this is the place to go! The food and service were fantastic and I'll be back!

Bolognese pasta

Came across this small Italian restaurant and decided to try it out. The food sadly was not as authentic or generally tasty as I had hoped. Pasta with the bolognese sauce was a solid 6/10 Cacio e Pepe was not good, 3/10. The sauce was drowning the pasta and the truffle was out of a jar. The stuffed squash flowers were overly stuffed and it was a mouthful of hot ricotta cheese and the batter that was fried. The service was great and I got the truffle add on taken off of the bill cause I didn't eat any of it.

Wonderful Italian restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The handmade pasta truly stands out--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the tiramisu was absolutely excellent, one of the best I've had. The owner, Mauricio, is incredibly nice and charming, which makes the experience even more special. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, making this place a real hidden gem. Highly recommend.

10/10 such amazing food the quality and love are there. Honestly can't wait to go back and try every dish this review is short and sweet if you like Italian food this is your spot . Our server was Marco great service super friendly real deal Italian helped me brush up on mine , the atmosphere is amazing you have the option of sitting inside or out , it was a gorgeous Sunday afternoon so we sat outside enjoyed some music the playlist was on point , just moved out the area but will definitely drive all the way back .

Happy hour deals are whatever

Nice spot with a variety of homemade pastas. Pick a pasta, pick a sauce, and enjoy. I enjoyed the pappardelle a lot, and it was pretty filling at a reasonable price. We came at happy hour, which includes many pastas and some of the apps. I found these deals to be hit or miss though, as well as the food quality. While the pasta was quite good, the squash blossoms were whatever and the portion was pretty small. The space is cute and simple. Love their outdoor area, which makes you feel like you're not eating in a parking lot with its nice decoration and setup. Service was standard for Miami, nice enough and quick enough to get the job done.

THE BEST DATE-NIGHT ROMANTIC SPOT IN MIAMI…read more Pane y Vino is one of those rare restaurants that gets everything right: charming, delicious, romantic, and completely unique. The décor has so much personality, and the entire experience feels wonderfully old-school--from the attentive service to the little details that make you feel genuinely taken care of. The owner is lively, charismatic, and absolutely charming, faithfully tending to her guests and making the whole room feel warm and personal. And then there's the food. The carpaccio was exceptional: paper-thin slices of fresh beef topped with delicately sliced mushrooms and a unique lemon crème that made the whole dish sing. The mussels were enormous, served in a spicy tomato broth so delicious you'll want to finish it with a spoon. Just when you think it can't get any better, dessert arrives. Homemade, gourmet, and prepared right at your table--and somehow it doesn't feel gimmicky at all. It's genuinely spectacular. The surprise hint of Nutella hidden beneath the delicate finger cookies takes it completely over the top. And if you love eggplant parmigiana, theirs is top of the line. The portions are hearty, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and experience, and the atmosphere is made for a romantic night out. One warning: make your reservation in advance. Pane y Vino gets packed, and once you experience it, you'll understand why.

One always think "if they have good ingredients they're going to be good" but apparently, Pane e Vino misses this notion: they have the best ingredients for sure but also the master hand of incredible chefs that make every dish unique. My mum had the Cannelloni di la Nonna, smooth, and delicious. My dad had the Maltagliatti, and he didn't talk after he finished. I was celebrating my birthday. And I asked for the Alla Ruotta, but with Pappardelle. Made Al dente, this pasta was smooth, with a a sauce that merged the best Italian tomatoes, and the best Parmigiano Reggiano. I added cheese on top of it, but that's because I'm an absolute fan. Then after they sang Happy Birthday to me - something I didn't ordered - they provided the table with THE ABSOLUTE BEST TIRAMISÙ I HAVE EVER TASTED IN MY EXISTENCE. Don't ask the ingredients, enjoy. You're absolutely welcome. Creamy, soft, fresh, all done at the very moment. It makes you question why this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star... While the concept is the classic "Italian Hole-in-the-wall" and the ambiance is quiet, ideal for a romantic date, with dim lighting and soft music, there's always an artist making pasta at the window, and there's always time for the chiacchiere with Angelo. His stories of life and recipes are great, but also some Juventus talk, and how football evolves... amazing... amazing. Amazing food. Amazing people. Grazie mile, Marco e Angelo! Divina cuccina, divina famiglia! Un grande abbraccio argentino.

So take this with a grain of salt, because this is just my opinion of my experience (I see that this is a popular restaurant in miami). The best dish that I would eat again was the short rib meatball. Was great. Also on our table for apps was a salad and a pizza. Salad was fine. Nothing I need to write home about and the pizza was a little dry for me. The sauce and cheese were dry and it's also that kind of ultra thin pizzas that it's crunchy like a cracker. I ended up putting the sauce of the short rib meatball on the pizza and actually made it much better. My version of scarpetta:) actually speaking of doing a scarpetta the bread is so good. The focaccia was really tasty and glad we tried. Now the main event, the pastas. Don't hate me now but I didn't care for them! The amatriciana was soo salty and the guanciale was soggy. Not enjoyable to eat at all. The cacio e Pepe also was salty and yes I know the cheese makes it salty but it was too much and again not enjoyable. Both pastas were really not great and both were so so gummy. I found them to be so gummy. Not al dente but not overcooked. It was just such a weird consistency to eat. Desserts were fine. Banana made me surprised that I liked it and the tiramisu was meh for me. Not bad but dessert in general was okay. Service was phenomenal though!!

When she brought our dishes, she dropped off and literally ran away. We had to flag her down for parmesan and then didn't see her again throughout our whole meal until we asked the busboy (who we saw more than her) for dessert menus. No one bothered to clean our table full of crumbs in between. She did not ask us not once if we needed anything. However, she was quite able to chat and smile up a storm with a large party next to us who ordered tons of wine and food. This did not feel like fine dining The food was actually pretty good. It was nice that they allowed us to have Miami Spice entrees if we wanted to since they weren't on the menu. The Pear ravioli with goat cheese was delicious. Calamari was a solid, shareable plate, though it's the one I'd skip next time to save room.Caesar salad is the classic done with a showman's flair tableside. Crisp, garlicky, and properly dressed. For pasta we obviously had to get the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka because it's the dish everyone talks about, and it earns it. Silky sauce, a slow building kick. We ordered half portions for the table, which was the smart move, since you want to taste everything. The Sequoia Grove Cab by the glass was an easy pairing with the richness of the pasta. We also got two orders of the Lobster Ravioli was rich and delicate to share , with real lobster flavor rather than just cream. Order it. For the main we got the Ribeye Diana which is a steakhouse-meets-Italian-American showpiece. The sauce is bold and the steak is generous. It's a lot of food, and best shared. The menu is concise, to the point and mainly focused on traditional and/or comfort food in this case Italian. I can't believe I had it saved for so many years but today I got to experience some of the best food I've had in the city with the most remarkable service ever. This is a family owned restaurant and as a customer I felt as family too. Beto, the owner, makes you feel like part of his extended family from the moment you step foot in the joint and all throughout your culinary adventure. I hadn't made reservations and he made sure to find me a table for one even though it was super busy at the time. He also recommended a few dishes but ultimately convinced me to try one of the chef's specials which I've been talking about till this day. His staff is also very attentive and diligent. Having said that let me break down what I ate with a nice chilled glass of wine: Antipasto: Burratina...Fresh homemade burrata mozzarella on top of thin slices of prosciutto, basil and extra-virgin olive oil. Served with roasted red peppers and tomatoes. All fresh and with high quality ingredients without a doubt. I wanted something light before the pasta and this was very filling so I couldn't finish it but... Entre: Chef's special...Pappardelle Patagonia. Green flat homemade noodle with vodka sauce, Italian sausage, pancetta, mushrooms and fresh herbs. This was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in my life. Perfectly cooked "al dente" with a creamy vodka sauce that'd have you wanting to lick the damn plate. That Italian sausage was also so divine and they don't skimp on portions or ingredients. I'm glad Beto suggested this one instead of the Pappardelle Italian sausage. Dolci: cheesecake. I have no idea how I still had a little bit of room for dessert after that feast but this cheesecake was all worth it. Not overly sweet and very rich and velvety. This is arguably one of the best Italian joints in town. Just delicious Italian comfort food made with love and excellent service to got with it. Beto offered an espresso to end this extraordinary meal. He takes the time to go to every table and make sure customers are taken care of and that's what makes the difference. These are the type of restaurants that leave a lasting impression on their patrons and make them come back time after time.
