While on a quick trip to Miami, I found myself in Miami Shores for the last night. I googled the best Italian restaurant and Pastamarket came up! I love little mom and pop establishments so let's do it! When our party arrived there looked to be what may have been a manager sitting in the patio area. He did not greet us. Strange. We walked towards the door and immediately a server came out asked us how many in our party and sat us down. We ordered two appetizers that were good. I ordered a Cesar Salad and when it arrived it was a chopped Cesar. Definitely different from your classic Cesar. I took two bites and ouch! There was a sharp plastic that I took a bite of. Since the server was in view I raised my hand and he quickly came over. I took the plastic out of my mouth to show him. He asked if I'd like a new salad. (Whomp whomp) Of course I do! He then asks if I'd prefer the lettuce large and I say please! When he brought it back he said the plastic was part of the bag. (Eww) On to dinner, the spaghetti bolognese was perfect! The spaghetti was made Al Dente! Oooooohhh how I love an Italian restaurant that makes their pasta correctly! Probably the best spaghetti I've had in a long time! Time for the bill! To my surprise the salad was left on bill, found that to be strange. However I didn't say anything. I like restaurants to be who they are on my first date. It establishes whether I'll be back or not. Service was lacking. The gentleman who was sitting outside was definitely a manager or maybe an owner. The fact that he never came to apologize about the salad mishap was a negative for me. Even just welcoming us would have been hospitable. My tea never got refilled the entire meal and I wasn't going to ask unless offered. Overall, good food! I wouldn't drive to the Shores for this experience but would definitely come back if I was in the area.

If you're looking for fresh authentic homemade pasta, this is the place to go! The food and service were fantastic and I'll be back!

If you're in the mood for pasta, you must try out Pasta Market! We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a variety of homemade pasta dishes including funghi, bolognese, and more. Huge portions of pasta, that will leave you full and perhaps taking leftovers home. Indoor and outdoor seating, paid street parking close by.

I found this place randomly one day & my life has been changed ever since. They have amazing lunch special prices. I come here often for lunch with my coworkers. I've tried a variety of their pastas & recommend them all. I could eat their bread with oil forever & ever. Some of my friends I've taken here have said they notice their pasta coagulated if they didn't eat it right away. I had that issue 1x. The staff are always friendly. There's a space for you to watch the pasta freshly made before your eyes. I LOVE PASTA MARKET

Wonderful Italian restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The handmade pasta truly stands out--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish we tried was delicious, and the tiramisu was absolutely excellent, one of the best I've had. The owner, Mauricio, is incredibly nice and charming, which makes the experience even more special. Prices are very reasonable for the quality, making this place a real hidden gem. Highly recommend.

Came across this small Italian restaurant and decided to try it out. The food sadly was not as authentic or generally tasty as I had hoped. Pasta with the bolognese sauce was a solid 6/10 Cacio e Pepe was not good, 3/10. The sauce was drowning the pasta and the truffle was out of a jar. The stuffed squash flowers were overly stuffed and it was a mouthful of hot ricotta cheese and the batter that was fried. The service was great and I got the truffle add on taken off of the bill cause I didn't eat any of it.

Nice spot with a variety of homemade pastas. Pick a pasta, pick a sauce, and enjoy. I enjoyed the pappardelle a lot, and it was pretty filling at a reasonable price. We came at happy hour, which includes many pastas and some of the apps. I found these deals to be hit or miss though, as well as the food quality. While the pasta was quite good, the squash blossoms were whatever and the portion was pretty small. The space is cute and simple. Love their outdoor area, which makes you feel like you're not eating in a parking lot with its nice decoration and setup. Service was standard for Miami, nice enough and quick enough to get the job done.

We got lucky and the hostess actually seated us almost right away. The staff is amazing and friendly. Usually on big holidays restaurants in Miami are short staffed and service always suffers. Osteria's energy was warm and beyond welcoming. We ordered the calamari again and it was wonderfully crispy. For our Entrees we had the steak with a side of asparagus and pappardelle ossobuco. Steak was perfectly seasoned. The veal pasta sauce was out of this world. Honestly I think stopping by Osteria might be our Christmas Eve tradition from now on. I couldn't have had a better Christmas Eve with my family.

An opulent failed attempt at fine dining…read more At first glance, the place is impressive -- beautiful cars outside, constant traffic of guests walking in, crisp white tablecloths setting the stage for what appears to be a refined dining experience. Unfortunately, the illusion fades rather quickly. The first sign of trouble arrives with the server sporting a rather impressive lip piercing, followed closely by a colleague whose diamond nose stud could probably be seen from space. Not exactly the ambiance one expects when aiming for "elegant." Despite the abundance of servers floating around the dining room, none seem to notice when your knife dramatically dives off the table and lands on the floor -- where it enjoys a long, lonely stay. Water service is also quite innovative: they simply leave the entire bottle at the table, which seems less about generosity and more about avoiding the inconvenience of returning to refill your glass. The food? Sadly just as uninspired. From the octopus to the $68 Milanese, every dish managed the impressive feat of being completely flavorless. The Milanese arrived with a beautiful crust, which raised hopes... until you realized there was no sauce, no garnish, and nothing to rescue what turned out to be a remarkably bland plate. Meanwhile, the staff appears deeply committed to minimizing effort -- though not shy about judging you directly when the tip doesn't meet their expectations. All in all, this place feels like fine dining in costume. Perhaps a return to the basics of hospitality and service would be a good start... followed by a serious conversation with whoever is currently in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone brave enough to give it a try.

We ordered the Valentina and King Bee cocktails to start and they came out delicious! Highly recommend. For entrees we ordered the fettuccine bolognese and the short rib tortellini. We joined the clean plate club with both of these dishes and didn't leave a crumb. For desert we had the espresso martinis tiramisu and once again cleaned the plate. Safe to say the dishwashers were fans of us. The service was impeccable. Food and drinks came out quick, waters were refilled promptly, and our server Alessandro made sure we were taken care of. We tried the veal meatballs and fried calamari with artichoke. The veal meatballs did not hold together and were mushy. There were two tiny meatballs for $12. The fried calamari was very good but had more artichoke than calamari. Expected more calamari for the price. We don't mind paying for high quality food but they missed the mark with these dishes. Also, the portions were ridiculously tiny for the price you paid. Not a good value and neither dish was memorable. I'm very sorry that I forgot to take pictures of the dishes. On a positive note the service was top notch. Our bartender was professional and friendly.
