Family owned restaurant, with high quality homemade pasta. I've been here a few times, and this is now my to-go place to buy fresh pasta that can cook at home. The also have a small counter you can dine in and see how they make the dishes in front of you. The interiors and clean, modern and simple in a good way. The owners are very nice and friendly, and I love chatting with them as they take the time to teach you and give all kinds of recos. Highly recommended. read more

This place is fantastic! I've been here multiple times and tried a total of five different dishes - all of which were delicious. This is the best pasta in Boulder. My expectations were high after seeing the website, which gives you a little paragraph of history on each dish. When you walk in, it looks more like a laboratory than an American-Itlalian restaurant. With such a small space, the efficient design makes sense. I got the pesto and focaccia. Both were phenomenal. The portion looked a bit small, but it was filling. It only took about 5 minutes from when I ordered it for it to be ready. I had to dig on Yelp to find this place, I'm only writing this review to help with their visibility. They deserve it. For the owner who checks these reviews: I wish you could buy a larger portion. 2 entrees would be too much, but when I finished I wanted more. I had been really wanting to try this place out after reading so many great reviews and I love homemade pasta. We were wanting takeout so we decided it would be a good time to give this place a try since it was mentioned as a good place for takeout. We ordered the Ragu alla Bolognese and the spicy Amatriciana. Maybe too much time passed from when it was made to when we were able to eat, but by the time we got home, my pasta (the Amatriciana) was barely warm. I unfortunately had to head it up (which I tried to keep to a minimum), but of course doing so slightly cooked the noodles. No one likes overcooked noodles, but I did want to enjoy my food hot. My sauce and noodles didn't have much flavor, but the bits of Guanciale (pork) were delicious. Unfortunately there weren't that many bits in my dish. My boyfriend's Ragu was much warmer and I did enjoy the flavor, although I definitely didn't find it to be the best Ragu I've ever had. Maybe it was an off night or we should try dining in, the people working seemed very nice and I'd like to give them business! Just wanted to share my experience here so far. read more

We're visiting Boulder and stumbled across this gem just off Pearl Street. Husband and wife team with Italian roots. Made to order handmade fresh pasta with savory sauces. So delicious we went back the next evening. The penna cotta was delicious also. Great for take out also. read more

Absolutely fantastic! My grandmother and I stopped in for dinner this evening. I had been here once previously and wanted to bring her for her birthday dinner. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner, along with what appeared to be his wife and kids! All very nice people who welcomed us in graciously. As I had a positive experience here previously, I decided to go with what I had last time and enjoyed. Their pesto with the "half sleeve" pasta. My grandmother went with the same thing, and we split one of their focaccia breads! I also went with their Ragu Bolognese to bring home for lunch tomorrow. This restaurant has a really cool concept, where they use fresh, handmade pasta, and prepare it with the sauce right in front of you! The place seems to be catered to individuals who are on the go, such as college students or someone looking for a quick business lunch! It's quite small and there isn't much in the way of seating room, but the food more than makes up for it!! The food all came out in a flash, and while we were eating we struck up a conversation with the Owner/Chef. Very nice and clearly had a passion for what he does! The pesto was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Had beautiful notes of basil, and the parmesan cheese complemented the flavor really well. I couldn't resist taking a couple of bites of the Bolognese as well. Had a nice depth of flavor and I am really looking forward to finishing it tomorrow!! And to top it all off, upon hearing that it was her birthday, my grandmother was gifted a portion of their tiramisu for dessert. It had an incredible balance of sweet, bitter, rich and creamy, highlighted with a beautiful coffee flavor!! Such a cool place, owned by cool people! We will be back and soon! read more

When I visited Italy, the best restaurants were the ones a block or two off the main touristy strip, as they existed because of the quality of the food instead of foot traffic. If you're looking for fresh pasta dishes without the glitz of red and white checkered table cloths, check out Pasta Press, just half a block off Pearl. My wife and I loved our dishes- the sauces were rich and with just the right amounts of meat and veggies, but the star was the pasta... that great texture that perfectly complimented the sauces. They have a good varieties of pastas and we'll be back to try more. read more

Visiting Boulder for the day and stopped by here for lunch. The pasta here was absolutely delicious, I got the carbonara and my girlfriend got the Arrabiata and both were fantastic. This place was great! The pasta is made right there on location from a pasta press and then cooked in boiling water right in front of you. Everything is transparent and the cuisine is authentic Italian. The pasta and meat sauce were delicious and the portion was generous. I had the Pasta Bolognese and it was terrific! read more
