Came in for a brake and maintenance light check--left with a $7,000 estimate that didn't even mention either issue. I had high hopes, since we previously had a smooth oil change here and the location is super convenient. Henry and the tech I spoke with were polite and respectful. Before they even looked at the car, I told Henry I was on a tight budget. But the estimate they gave me included around $7,000 worth of work--most of which I hadn't asked for and wasn't essential. The maintenance light and brake check, which were the reasons I came in, weren't even mentioned on the printed or emailed estimate. I had to specifically ask about them, which left me wondering whether they'd actually been checked. When I came back to the shop to discuss the estimate, Henry said there was no brake issue and that I just needed an oil change--but again, that wasn't in the estimate either, and only came up when I asked. That made me question if the inspection had been thorough at all. Also, I had just gotten a synthetic oil change about 3,000 miles ago, with a 5,000-mile interval--so I'm still not sure if the maintenance light was even about the oil. To be fair, once I expressed that the $7,000 total was more than my car might be worth, Henry removed the non-essentials and brought it down to around $2,500. There was no pressure to proceed, and I appreciated that. But if I hadn't spoken up, the quote wouldn't have changed. I did need new tires, but I found better ones at Costco--installed--for $285 less than what was quoted. Oddly, after I left, my car started making a loud humming noise and vibrating when the AC was on high--something it had never done before. My mom noticed it too, even without me saying anything. I brought it back, and the tech quickly found and removed a mouse nest behind the cabin air filter at no charge, which resolved the issue. That was a generous gesture, and I appreciated how quickly they addressed it. But I'm still confused--why wasn't that vibration there before the visit? And how could a mouse nest cause such a loud vibration only when the AC was turned up--and why that's the only place they checked? On the advice of three friends who know cars well, I'm getting a second opinion at a trusted independent shop. I believe they've helped a lot of people, and I appreciated the friendly staff. But based on my experience, I left feeling uneasy and uncertain whether my priorities had really been heard--or fully checked. For that reason, this was a 2-star visit for me.

The oil change service is unbelievably bad and crazy. On the manual book of my car, the requirement of engine oil is 0W40, but this place used 5W30 instead which does not fit my car at all. Additionally, this place charged me $39.99 per quarts for engine oil, which is way too overpriced, normally 5 quarts won't even worth $39.99. Can you believe changing engine oil costs 600 dollars? I thought this place will treat luxury car with a serious attitude, instead what they did is using the wrong engine oil and extremely over charge.

I already submitted a review of Pasadena Tire Pros! I'm adding another review because Henry is amazing and quite honestly, is the most generous owner I've ever encountered. I called in 10 minutes before close last night, as my wife's car got a flat tire. We needed this work asap - so I called in and Henry told me to stop by. NO urgency, no pressure, no frustration - just pure service and kindness. I HIGHLY recommend this location! Well, it didn't take long before another car issue had to be handled and I had to pay a visit to the Tire Shop because one of my Tires has a nail in it. Luckily for me, my family has been with Henry for years and I trust my tire needs to him. He is friendly and his shop is buzzing! I would go early for automobile repairs. Tire Pros Auto Repair is a local mechanic. This is my family's go to for tire changes, and Henry always gets our business if we need tires changed.

Purchased two Continental tires for the rear wheels of my BMW 535i…read more Good price and installation was good. My only concern was the wheel balancing for all 4 wheels and the 4 wheel alignment. The free wheel balancing was okay, but the ride was a but bit rough, especially at high speeds. The 4 wheel alignment was also okay because I saw the tech person pull it out of the stall and parked the car. He did not do a test drive. My Bimmer drove okay, but it didn't track. So I wasn't confident that the wheel alignment was properly done. I recently remedied the concerns by having the 4 wheels rebalanced and had a 4 wheel precision alignment done at another shop. Now my Bimmer tracks and rides really smooth... For tires purchase, this place is great.. But for tire services, from my experience, I would recommend to go somewhere else...

Got here at 1215pm fur my 1215pm Appt. After standing at the front desk for 10 minutes someone…read morefinally acknowledged me and asked me to have a seat. So now 15 minutes in and still haven't written it up or asked for my keys. I'm here for a rotation and balance so I don't expect it to take long. I'm on lunch and can't really be here for over an hour. He told me they should be able to get me out by 115. If they can do that , I will be happy. Right now though, I'm not all that happy since it feels like they burned 15 minutes of my time. By 1245 they have called me and measured my tread depth. This is little peeve of mine and it reminds me of a bigger one. No longer am I given the piece of paper that tells me what my tread depth was. What is the point then? If my tires are wearing unevenly, it would be nice to know about it and even better to know which tire. One of them was less than the others. Wearing faster. No idea which one and the receipt is worthless as it doesn't have that info. My bigger peeve is that when I had the tires installed I asked if they could tell me how much brake pad was left. Actually my girl was with the car and I asked her to ask them. She said they told her they can't do that. When I got there she and another customer told me it was due to liability. Now I didn't ask for them to make a judgement call on whether or not the brakes were good or bad or could go X miles. I just literally wanted a estimate measurement. The other customer coukdnt understand why I didn't want to accept the liability excuse and made sweeping statements about the trouble they could in. Let me make this part crystal clear for the sites and for the corporate lawyers. Ask yourself how much money you'll be liable for the day you refuse to tell a customer his brake pads were looking pretty slim, or let's say a couple mm left, and that person ends up dead or killing someone else 3 days later due to not stopping in time or some type of brake failure? They will sue and they will win stating that any reasonable technician would have recognized how dangerously worn the brake pads were and you refused to inform the customer, whether or not it's your business. So if that's policy to not say anything, I'd really rethink that. Seems like the liability is with not telling them. You tell them, you've done what would be reasonable. You refuse and you are opening yourself up to be cast as the next bad guy in court. So easily.They will crucify you. Think about it, corporate lawyer people. That's all I'm going to say on that. My car was done by 115. Guys at this store working in the bays showed a lot of hustle and cooperation. An exemplary crew of technicians. The service writer guys were good once they got to me but they would do well to achnowledge people when they walk in to let them know they are seen and will be helped soon. Can't ask for much better on a free service. Still would be nice to know those tread depths since you took the time to measure and all....

Still my favorite place to go for tires! There are a few places where I enjoy going to, but really…read moredon't want to find myself there too often. This place is one of them. It's been quite awhile since I've been here since I've been driving less and I also purchased a new vehicle, so I haven't had to get any new tires. The management seems to have changed since I didn't see the familiar faces. I have since come here twice in the past two months, unfortunately because I like driving on nails. Parking is a challenge because they're so busy, but I can find parking down the street - it's just a bit of a walk. On my first visit, my tire could not be patched but helped me make an order for the tire with a deposit. I ended up getting it replaced at the dealership because I wanted it done sooner if I could. I informed America's Tire and they refunded me my deposit. On my second visit, my tire could be patched (thankfully!). I was helped quickly and I was in and in 30 minutes. This is the type of service that I have always appreciated. In both cases, I had made an appointment. Shout out to Norman. It was nice seeing you, but I hope I don't have to see you again for another 13,000 miles.
