Was in the area, and needed a wash badly! A lot of places didn't accept my car because it was a bit lowered so it was difficult finding a place. I dropped by on a Tuesday morning and waited around 30 mins for the entire process. Price is pretty fair & they have a waiting room while your car is being cleaned. Will definitely be pulling back up in the future for my car washes read more

Super happy with the service!!!!!! They did a great job hand-washing my car, spotless, no streaks, and they were fast but detailed. Friendly staff and fair prices. My to-go and only place for car care. Definitely coming back!! TYSM read more

The customer service here is awesome! This is the best car wash in all of Pasadena. Love it here!

Definitely my go to spot! They're great about doing extra things like buffing out little boo-boos. Even replaced a bolt on my license plate frame last time, without me asking. They always do an excellent job for me. AND they have about the best massage chair that I've ever sat in. A dollar in that thing and you're a happy camper ;-) read more

Partner's car was damaged in the interior and no accountability was taken. The manager was rude and diminishing to my partner. The worker stated he didn't cause this and he was apologetic. The repair is going to cost over $800 for what appears to be chemical damage ok a car that is less than a year old with no previous damage. This is highly highly disappointing. This is the car wash right next to IHOP. read more

Being an area native who returned about 3 years ago from the OC and Inland Empire, I cannot believe this is the first time I came to this car wash. In prehistoric times, the California-Arroyo Car Wash was the first her in Pasadena. Then generations later, the Pasadena Car Wash on Del Mar got built and started business. I remember when they first opened. They were a huge success and washed cars so well. Now in the modern day, California-Arroyo seems old, depressing, and doesn't seem to do a great job on car washes. Pasadena Car Wash does a solid job for the most part. But a Silver Wash costs $36.99 plus tip. This includes a wash, vacuum, and tire dressing. So I came here to the Pasadena Hand Wash. It's on the south part of Arroyo Parkway, near the 110 freeway. It's a no-frills wash with a patio waiting area. But you get a solid hand wash, tire dressing and vacuum for $28.99. I'll be coming here from now on. read more

I love coming here. This car wash is the only hand washing Pasadena they go above and beyond. They always help me with everything I came in this morning and my tires were really low air pressure. After the car wash they put air in my tires. Thank you so much guys read more

Early bird special Monday to Thursday 8am to 10am $21.99 can't beat it for Pasadena. They are probably one of the better car hand washs in this area. It's been my go to local business for some of my car needs. From. 1 to 10 they get a 7 read more

This place is the worst. I told myself I would never come back here, but I needed a wash immediately and was driving by, so pulled in. I hoped it would not be that busy, but when I drove in, I saw a long line of cars just sitting in the back. It looks like a used car lot back there. Unfortunately, you cannot see how many cars are waiting from the street. Once you're on the property, it's difficult to get out, especially if someone has pulled in behind you. I do not know how this place operates. Not enough staff to wash and dry cars. There are long periods of time when no cars are exiting the wash area. What is going on? You will be here for more than an hour, for a basic car wash. They don't even do a good job. If I have to wait an hour plus, my car better look showroom clean, but there are always still dirty areas. Give me a hose and let me wash my car myself. The manager/owner, whatever he is, is an a-hole. He' always has a surly attitude, with zero customer service skills. it is obvious he does not care about his customers at all. I have heard him argue with customers multiple times. I just heard him tell a customer to take his car to a gas station with an express wash if he wants a quick wash, when that customer complained about how long it was taking. Here's a tip, take your car up the street to Arroyo Car Wash, or even Pasadena Auto Wash on Del Mar. Either will charge you more, but you will get a better wash and your car back in 30 - 40 minutes, depending on how busy it is. I should have listened to that voice in my head and done the same. People giving this place 5 stars are delusional. I would give it negative stars if possible. I have been here for an hour and 5 minutes and not a drop of water has hit my car yet. I will never come back here again, and I urge others not to as well. There are far too many better choices. read more

Prior to coming here, I had request a quote and Zaven, the owner, was super quick to respond through Yelp! For first-time visitors to Pasadena Hand Wash, the experience begins with pulling into their well-marked lot and following the signage to conveniently park your car in the back. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by a friendly worker who promptly inquired about the services I required. Having recently returned from a long road trip, my car was caked with layers of stubborn grime. I was amazed by the expertise of the staff at Pasadena Hand Wash as they skillfully restored my vehicle to its original shine. They managed to remove every speck of dirt and bugs, leaving my car looking as good as new. The entire process, for the wash and the oil change, took less than an hour and a half. There is a nice patio area with two tables and plenty of seating. Free wifi is available in case you wanted to get some work in while you wait. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of their service, as it allowed me to carry on with my day without any unnecessary delays. I am incredibly satisfied with my experience at Pasadena Hand Wash and will undoubtedly return in the future. The friendly and accommodating service, coupled with their exceptional ability to transform my grimy car into a pristine one, has won me over as a loyal customer. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire team, including the kind cashier, for their awesome work. If you're in need of a car wash and maintenance service, I highly recommend Pasadena Hand Wash. Five stars all the way! read more

My favorite car wash to go to. They gave me a great deal for my detail and there was tree sap on my car that wouldn't come off. They let me come back and did a second detail to take the sap off with wax. (I didn't complain they just offered because they said 24 hours needed to pass til they can try again for the sap removal with the wax). Car came out looking amazing and I am a regular here ever since read more

It was okay.. I normally go to a different car wash when I am in the area but I have a new car which is black and I was told that I should get a hand wash. The wait was really long, but I guess it does take time to hand wash a vehicle. The wash was cool, the only complaint I have is to spray the air freshener more than just the front passenger and back passenger floors. I will definitely return when I come to Pasadena. read more

Excellent customer service. They are all friendly and leave the car very clean. The prices are very affordable as well.

Minus 10 for terrible service. One star for the sake of posting. This is a perfect place for you if you want to pay $35+ waiting for almost two hours to have your car with spots and stains everywhere after the wash and the staff doesn't even want to try or give a damn to make it better when you address these issues. Tried this car wash for the first time yesterday. I was honest and told him I would pay more than a regular wash so I can get the inside cleaned a bit better than usual since I had a drink spill in my cup holder last week. I even pointed out a spot near the back seat which I really needed cleaned. I'm not sure why I paid $100 (managers special) instead of $21.99. Do not recommend. My car wasn't even vacuumed properly. It's not a new car I wasn't expecting it to be spotless, but I think they're just making up numbers. read more

I came back to see if the service had improved and to give them another chance all because of location, location, location. They did they offer me a discount on the oil change and detail and I took it. What I like about this Carwash that if you need to run errands, get your nails done, have a Starbucks or grab a bite to eat. it's all in the vicinity of this business. So I didn't just have to wait on my car to get finished. I am glad I came back and my car has not been this clean since I got it. All of the people who are washing and vacuuming are so respectful and hard working got all into the nooks and crannies. Also they did not try to get me to purchase anything extra. So yes I am definitely coming back here again. read more

DISHONEST! Have gone here for a couple years and always a good job. But now I learn they Will damage your car, admit to it, then not reimburse you. Paid in advance for a Multi-wash card so was a frequent customer. During a wash the employee broke the metal tab to my rear defroster. They said they would fix it. Weeks go by and no phone call. Manager claims he lost my number. So I gave it to him again; he said"I'll have to check with my brother" (??). Another two weeks go by so I had a glass company repair it. I gave him the invoice and he said "you should've called my brother"(!!!) And also claimed to not have my number (again). Now they won't reimburse me for the cost. I have friends that USED TO go there too. Now none of us will. It will cost them much more in the long run than if he had just done the right thing in the first place. SHADY, SHADY, SHADY. read more

After I complained once about their being several spots on the car, I asked the worker and manager there if they could clean the spots and window once again considering there had been stains all over. Manager said he would have the car get washed once again and still they failed to dry and clean little miscellaneous spots on the car. Instead, said I needed to pay for the more expensive wash when I paid for $30 dollar one. Idk which wash would help dry it better but this place overall is horrible. Also forgot to add the air freshener inside after asking him. No consideration for their customers and still after the second time just shrugged me off. read more

The basic wash does not include vacuum & I was initially told that the entire process would take 20minutes and it ended up taking nearly an hour. I wouldn't mind this, if I actually got what I paid for. I paid for the wash that includes a wash, wax & cleaning inside. I was in a bit of a rush & just looking at my car upon completion I could see that there were many dirty spots on the outside that I was able to rub off with my bare hand & absolutely no evidence of any wax. As far as the interior, it was even worse. Small wrappers and little papers that end up getting lost in the car were still there, all of my items were scattered throughout the car, my dash still had marks from coffee and the only evidence of a vacuum cleaning was slightly the carpet. I ended up having to go behind them and clean it myself. You may as well take your car to one of those self car washing locations because you're going to end up cleaning your car yourself anyway. read more

This has been my go to spot for my last few years in Pasadena and I've always been blown away at the thorough job they do. For a reasonable value, I always get my car back entirely vacuumed and spotless. They even did a fantastic job when I showed up with rusty splotches from a leak in my parking garage! In only 2 hours, I returned to all of the nasty marks gone and the car entirely polished. Also, the semi-outdoor waiting area is quite pleasant. I can't recommend this place enough! read more

It's cheap, especially with the early bird special, but you get what you pay for. Just got a wash and there's still some crud and bug guts on the paint from before. It's also the second time now that I've come here and they've scratched my car. The first time is forgivable but two times in a couple months? That's gonna be a no from me. Genuinely in awe how poor the detail i received here was. I initially asked for a leather condition for the interior and was upsold (my fault for agreeing to it) to one of their higher tier "detailing" packages. We landed on the $200 version in where they would fully detail, clay bar, interior dress, and wax the car. The interior was fine but the exterior looks like it was barely washed. Understandably they have a lot of cars to get through so there should be some expectation of minor misses, but the paint and glass look like it was just rained on, then poorly waxed. Multiple spots of wax that weren't buffed off, water spots that weren't wiped, dirt and grime still everywhere, and the wheels were most likely barely wiped down. Having gotten the cheapest package before (it wasn't great but can't complain for a sub $40 wash) there are exactly zero discernible differences aside from the interior dressing. Advice to all to find a better detailer, it was an unreal waste of $200 read more

Extremely upset. My husband just took my car to get washed and detailed. When they asked what scent he wanted, my husband said no scent. The guy said "no pick one it's free." Then, my husband he said no my wife is extremely sensitive no scent. What do they do. They spray the car down with vanilla. As a business, please respect people's boundaries and their wishes. Extremely upset that this disgusting smell is in my car and is going to take a while to get it out. edit after owner response: the owner of this car wash states that there was a foul smell in my car. A lie... if the vanilla smelled awful what makes you think my car smelled worse than that. Regardless of what scent was in my vehicle, do not take it upon yourself to not listen to instructions and spray your smelly crap in my car. I guarantee he doesn't know which car is mine.
