Quick and self-service! The basic wash was $12 when I went back in March, which is a good price imo. Left lane was for regular customers and right lane was for members, although I think you can go in any lane. The line was to the street but moved fairly quickly. After payment, you get dashboard wipes and an air freshener. The wash does an ok job, but to make it squeaky clean, park in a self-service spot to do spot clean and vacuum. There were plenty of spots, but it can get busy so you may have to wait a few minutes during busy hours. I recommend bringing your own microfiber towel to clean the outside of your car, which will make the job much easier. I would come here for a wash again if I am in the area. read more

Came here in my new K4 and got the Gold package. Not worth the value I paid - two tires got 1/4 squirt of tire shine which was not spread to the rest of the tire. These photos were taken at the vacuums right after exiting the wash. Also Brake dust all over my wheels that I wiped down myself. Stopped in for the Silver package at $16 and mostly impressed. The exterior came out spotless -- Triple Foam, ClearCoat Sealant, and Tire & Wheel Cleaner all did their job. Car looked sharp walking out. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is the vacuums -- they're just okay, nothing special. Expected a bit more suction for the price. But the wash itself? This spot has been my go-to drive through car wash in Pasadena, even 3 years later. Sometimes there's a line, but it goes by quickly. I usually go through the left side of the line to say hi to the workers and you get the air freshener and some wipes than through the CC machine side. I typically get the Gold Wash. The wash itself lasts around 5-7 min but the vacuums at the end are so clutch. There's large vacuums and small air blowers to get through all the crevices. By the rate I'm going, I should be thinking about the membership program here! read more

After 6+ years as a loyal Gold Wash customer (cash $19), I've had enough. They used to honor a free follow-up wash even if a few days late (sometimes downgraded to Silver). Today (3/16), after washing on 3/12 and returning Monday morning (just 4 days later due to weekend guests), the attendant rudely refused ANY free wash - not even Bronze or Silver. It's also a plus that they are affordable! I find that this express car wash is the best out of all of the express washes. This place leaves my car very clean. As for the interior, they give you a wipe so I recommend bringing your own wipes/towels. The self-vacuum area is great! The vacuums are very powerful and the area is always clean. This place gave me exactly what I need - good wash with little hassle, and towels available (though they do cost )

I came here pretty early on a Sunday morning and had selected the gold wash (with a 3 day guarantee) for my brand new car. The duration of the actual wash itself was fairly quick, just only a few minutes. However, when I parked to vacuum, one side didn't have much suction power. I then started to notice more and more that my car still had a lot of streaks and dust leftover, especially on the hood, almost as if I had just rinsed it down with a garden hose. It seemed as if the last spinning drying brush had never fully dropped down to wipe the hood down, leaving water marks and dust leftover. I had gotten back in line to use my 3 day guarantee pass and the 2 attendants were very nice about it, stating that I had 24 hours to report any issues and since it was less then they just offered me a re-wash. The male attendant Corey (?) and the girl with the wire trim glasses (sorry didn't get a chance to get the name!) was super nice about it and she even told me that my 3 day guarantee pass would be good for up to 6 months (but let's see how true that actually would be). Even with the 2nd time through the car wash, it wasn't much better. The first time only the passenger side mirror got knocked in. The 2nd time resulted in both the driver side and passenger side mirrors to be pushed in. With that kind of force, you'd expect the car to come out the wash a bit more clean than what actual was. I'd say overall, I was pretty disappointed with the results after reading all the reviews. It's fine if your car is relatively clean and you want a quick rinse down but anything else then it might be better looking elsewhere. I've gotten better car washes elsewhere for that cost less that the $16 I paid today. I hope there will be improvements to ensure a better end result in the future. read more

Automated drive through car wash. It used to be $7 for the cheap wash, then it was $8, ....now it's $12 (2025). The wash is fine, it does the job. My gripe is that there is almost always a line of cars 12-15 deep trying to get in. You can almost always guarantee that you'll never get to use the self vacuuming stations cause they are all taken by people who hog them, dry their cars there, polish them, etc. Just be prepared for a long wait for a drive though car wash and not to get to use the vacuum stations. read more

I've been coming here for years, since before they remodeled and made it all automated. It's alright, but no matter what level of wash I choose, the last spinning brush that's supposed to catch the hood never drops down, it just stays spinning in the air and the hood is always left with spots. It's been this way for years. I figured maybe it's because my SUV size disallows, but I went recently with a sedan, same thing. I park on the street, and during the summer the tree on the sidewalk emits some nasty sap all over my car. We also live on a pretty busy street so it was sap+dust+grime that was messing up my car. I felt sorry for it looking so gross. But that meant giving up my weekends to wash it. I didnt have the time, really. And we couldnt afford a fancy $30 carwash every week, esp not a detail job. We were desperate for a solution. Enter this shiny-looking carwash I chanced upon Colorado blvd, and looked them up. They had a free carwash coupon for you to try them out! My husband did the freebie and it looked great. The next 2 days however, the sap and dust and grime were back. After a long discussion, we knew it was time to consider the monthly service & be in the fastxpress "club". The cheapest tier is the $20 one called BRONZE and it is the basic wash, dry, vacuum. The silver and platinum will have the extra foam and are $10-$20 more. I purchased the bronze at home, lined up on the left to get attendants to process my online purchase and they made me fill out a form and attached an RFID to my windshield. They have a club member lane on the right so next time i can go on that lane to bypass the checkpoint with humans ;) The carwash is like a basic gas station carwash but they have a tire rail that moves your car thru the carwash machines. You really don't have to do any stop-and-go stuff. It'll position your car exactly where it needs to be. Finally, once you're almost out, you drive yourself to the vacuum area which looks like how Sonic drive-up areas look. There are big hoses that activates once you pull out of the tube holder. It's strong enough to clean crumbs off your seat and dirt off your floor. (In retrospect, I suggest sanitizing the vac mouth before using and your seats after vacuuming) I spent another 15mins vacuuming because we had just come from the beach this past weekend and it felt good seeing the car so pristine again. The vacuums were great. Oh they have a tiny air hose to blow dust from small spaces. I vacuumed even flowers and leaves that got in the crevices of the car door and under the wipers. This area is also good for wiping down and drying areas that the car wash missed. Anyway, $20 is not too bad . I might actually try to upgrade to the SILVER TIER $30 to get the nicer foam and really get the sap off my windshield glass. if you go once a week or 4x month, it's totally worth it. I anticipate going even more than once a week, because my car gets incredibly dirty, and it only takes 5 minutes to go thru the carwash. Highly recommend! read more

We have been members of Fast five in Pasadena for several years paying our monthly bill by credit card since 2021 I believe. We pulled in today & asked to cancel the service because we've moved. The young man handling the drive-through told us we had to go online to cancel. We are a bit elderly. We tried to cancel online and we're unable to do so because of technical difficulties and the fact that we didn't know which credit card was on file with them. So we called and spoke with a manager, David, who told us that we had to go online (that it is a liability if he cancels the membership over the phone) & he's not allowed to do that. He told us to come back in... I advised him that we were just in and we were given wrong information. I requested a manager and I was told that his manager was not in today. We went back online attempted to cancel again and after several more attempts, we finally wrote a letter to management at the car wash... I know not how it will turn out yet... who knows??! read more

I had membership for over two years and shared membership since one and half years ago . I lost one card several months ago and I went there explained the situation. And the staff gave me two new cards without changing my information ( I requested to put a new magnetic tag on my new car's windshield, but he told me it is better not since it is shared membership) Today when I went to wash my car, the lady with a head cloth blocked me for 20 minutes saying that I didn't gave her back the cards and my car license plate is not the one registered with membership. I was shocked at her logic, I had shared membership so why license plate matter? Did I pay the monthly fee? Couldn't understand her operation that blocked me and the cars all behind me for over 20 minutes saying. Highly unprofessional and I decided to cancel immediately out of the place.
