I'm really surprised when I see these reviews. This is literally the best of the best in terms of Car Wash. The people that are nitpicking are nitpicking literally ants. I could see the workers thoroughly going through my car cleaning every inch of it. Quite honestly if you just can't stand the work they do and are getting that granular. You should probably do it yourself. I just drove back down from Monterey and the front of my car was littered with dead bugs. 1. Let's start off with the customer service, it was pretty slow and not much communication with the person taking the car. 2. The place is pretty clean and well maintained, they have complimentary coffee and cookies which is nice of them. 3. 40 bucks for a basic car is a bit much if you ask me, all it was was driven through the machine which barely did much. The car sat about 10 min after the wash before somebody started drying it which was very irritating! 4. You'd get a better deal taking it to just a simple drive through car wash and cleaning the inside yourself. Don't waste your money here. read more

I am extremely disappointed with the service here. I explicitly told the staff my car needed a thorough clean, so they recommended and charged me $70 for their most expensive wash package. When they handed the car back, it looked like it had just gone through a basic $15 drive-thru express wash. I pointed out the remaining dirt to the workers. They tried to wipe it down and help, but honestly, they still did a terrible job. It was so bad that I had to leave, drive straight to AutoZone, spend extra money out of my own pocket on exterior and interior wipes, and spend another 20 minutes cleaning the car myself. If I pay $70 for a top-tier wash, I shouldn't have to finish the job in an AutoZone parking lot. This was a complete waste of my money and time. I absolutely cannot recommend this place. read more

I recently visited Pasadena Car Wash for the first time because I thought it would be a great way to save time and get my car cleaned inside and out. I chose the Bronze tier which ended up costing about 40 dollars once I added the tip. The process is pretty straightforward since you just leave your keys in the ignition and let them handle the rest. They vacuum the floors and wipe down the surfaces before sending it through the wash. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes which was much faster than I expected. While you wait they have a nice lounge area. They offer free coffee and light snacks which is a cool touch. They also have WiFi so you can hang out on your phone or get some work done on a laptop. The lobby feels like a convenience store because they have huge racks of greeting cards and gift bags for sale. However the actual cleaning was disappointing. Honestly I could have cleaned the inside of my car better than they did. It is frustrating to pay that much and still see spots they missed. It felt like a waste of 40 dollars in the end. read more

I had the VERY BEST car wash here about a month ago. I am excited to take my car here again because it was so clean inside and out.

The good is, it's a very nice facility. I will come back and get the lowest end wash. I paid $51 for the platinum thinking it would get a little extra attention to detail. I understand I wasn't paying for a detail, but for the convenience of time, I was expecting more that I received. My car was dirty, it had been rained on and was pretty dirty inside and out. I was taking someone I respect out for lunch and wanted my car CLEAN. Be aware some people have differently levels of standards when it comes to clean. Needed a car wash, this was the closet spot available. Paid $42 for my 2500 HD. Waited around 30+ mins after the wash. They did a barely noticeable vacuum job. They missed so many areas during the interior wipe down. Honestly can't figure why people come here. read more

Pasadena Car Was just increased their rates and I have a few recommendations that can possibly justify a $50 base car wash.... Overall I'm grossed out by their operations!! 1. Don't allow the lady to make the coffee with the water from the bathroom sink. Use your price increase to buy several gallons of clean drinking water. 2. Invest in a plumber. There's no way you're asking women to wipe themselves and throw their used toilet paper in the trash sitting directly in front of the toilet. 3. Invest in simple dryers. For years I've came here to get my car wash when I can. It's a very nice upscale car wash with refreshments, quality seating area, and very clean inside. They take a while with your car and is very pricy, but I don't get my car washed as much, so at times it's ok. They do a really good job so that's always good! They are very uniformed, which I like because that shows professionalism. They also have fuel for your car if you need gas. Overall, I will continue to come! It's in a nice area and a very nice ambiance to sit and wait for your car. Also, they do everything you need. Side note: on Wednesday's they have senior day, which you receive money off your wash. Not worth the price, especially after the $10 price increase. I like this location and the people are friendly. But, a $48 car wash should leave the car a lot cleaner than this. I do a better job myself at a self wash. There were water spots all over the front of the car and the inside console and cup holders were not touched. Mind you the car is just a month old so I expected it to look amazing. For an extra $10 I can get a hand wash at my own home and I can buy my own cookies. read more

I never make reviews. In fact, I'm not sure I've ever posted a review. But this place deserves its relatively low rating. They don't care about their work here. Every time I've come I've been disappointed. I just have a regular Honda--nothing fancy or special, no detailing. I come for a basic wash and interior vacuuming because they're able to get those hard to reach places in between seats better than when you go to a self-service station. But each time, they leave crumbs inside or spots. One time, I actually had to ask them to please clean it up a little better after they told me they were done. Another time, they took the paint off my car. It was already chipping off in a place, and that's not their fault, but I watched a tech roughly take a rag to that area instead of handling it with care to not make a bigger spot. The last time I was there, the guy checking me in asked me what scent I'd like. I chose lemon. I left with no scent whatsoever, which isn't a huge deal. None of this is a huge deal. But it's little things that add up to show they don't care. And no one there has ever been smiley and friendly to me. It's all business and in and out as quickly as possible, which would be okay if it were a top-notch job, but it's not. Like other reviewers have said, they leave obvious spots and areas they didn't bother to clean--especially inside. Even when you don't choose the cheapest cleaning and go for something middle tier, they leave spots. I get it's not auto detailing and the works, but they're just bad at what they do. Even when there are very fews cars in line (like early Monday morning) the washes are mediocre, no one is checking the quality. Today they forgot the glass and left trash, didn't wipe down the seats -when I mentioned it, the guy just went for the obvious smudges, anyway I could gripe a bunch but just move on to the mobile car wash guys. for $10 more they tend to do a much better job. Took my SUV on Saturday for a clay and wax job, and I was not happy. I had to wait another hour to point out things that were missed, and on top of that, I had to remind them that I paid extra to condition my leather seats. Do not bring your car here. No manager or supervisor in sight. They all saw me standing there pointing out the issues to the worker and I was ignored by management. Very disappointed in this place! The car wash is fine. The oil change...it's simply a matter of safety you not have your oil change here. Firstly, the technician did not latch my hood. I didn't notice this until I could see the hood about to pop up on the freeway. Terrifying. Truly. I put my hazards on and carefully exited ASAP. Secondly, when I pulled in I let them know my tire pressure light was on and could they please check that as part of the service. I saw the light was still on for low tire pressure after the service and car wash. I called a guy over and he told me my Lexus 430 actually did not take air in the tires. Huh? I asked what did go in the tires, and he said he did not know. Of course I googled it, and, yes, it is air that goes in the tires. I'm blond but not that blond. So, I cannot recommend their oil change service. I will not pull in this establishment ever again. They put my freeway safety at risk, and that is just not cool. read more

Came in to have my wife's Volvo station wagon washed. It was Sunday afternoon, not too busy. I dropped the car at the vacuum station and went in to pay. My receipt says 14:27 or roughly 2:30 in the afternoon. The car came out from the wash about ten minutes later and was parked in the drying area. Where it sat for the next 25 minutes unattended. I went in to the cashier and asked for help. She called the manager Victor. He came down and I explained that the car had been sitting for 25 minutes and his response was 'I don't believe you'. Not apologetic, or looking to remedy the problem, just I must be mistaken. I told him to check with his people if he didn't believe me. After another 5 minutes or so someone finally began to wipe down the car. I have been a customer here for several years but no more. I will never be back. It's been several years since then and I have always been pleased with the basic wash service I've been getting at Pasadena Car Wash. Today however, I got service beyond any expectation. The employee who wiped down my car found one of my credit cards that had somehow gotten lost in a cranny. He very kindly propped it up on the dashboard where I could find it.
