From the first time I interacted with this business, I was pleased with how prompt and straightforward they were with all my questions as well as offering what options they had with what I'm looking for. They were able to schedule me to drop off my car and was awesome in rescheduling me when I wanted an earlier date! I loved the appointment reminders and confirmation texts. It tells me you prioritize your clients and respect their time and you're organized! We left our other tint shop because they got so disorganized and started taking too many people at once which forced delayed pickup. I'm taking almost 10PM. Anyway I wanted to give a shoutout to their front staff LEXI who was so responsive the day of my appointment when I had a hiccup that morning. She greeted us upon check-in, covered what we're there for and was very kind and knowledgeable as well. She also got us to add an extra service which we usually skip. However she presented to us the product, educated us on the "pros" and we went for it! We also informed them if they can get everything done at a specific time since we had our little human with us. She didn't promise but she said they'll try their very best and to contact me asap! The installers did just that. Lexi called us about 20 mins earlier than said time. Not only did they complete the job much earlier than we anticipated, their work was phenomenal! We were very pleased with the results when we saw the windows and windshield as well as a small PPF area that I wanted done, in person! Their pricing is very appropriate for the quality of their services and we are now using G5 as go-to for all things tint and PPF! Thank you G5 for being the best and for hiring such an incredible team! We wish you more success! read more

Just got a new car in the summer and the first modification I needed was tint! A need, not a want in the hot LA sun. My brother recommended this shop to me since he's been to their other location in Alhambra. The didn't have availability on the closest weekend so I did Monday at 3pm. Nikki from the shop called that morning with notification that they were ahead of schedule and saw me at 1pm instead! Super quick and painless process, just ubered out and did errands. My car was finished and ready for pickup at 4pm. read more

Eight years and six cars later, I keep coming back to G5 Tint, and there's a reason for that. The owner, Ricky, is a genuinely great guy. Whether you pull up in a Rolls-Royce or a Toyota Tercel, you'll get the same level of respect and service. That consistency matters. Most of my visits have been for window tint, and I usually go with their FormulaOne Stratos film, which has always come out flawless. This time, I decided to go all in with full tint and Ceramic Pro. Part of the Ceramic Pro package includes paint correction, and they absolutely nailed it. The finish on my car came out incredible, deep, clean, and better than I expected. The tint was just as perfect. There's a reason this place has a perfect Yelp score. They've earned it. read more

Another amazing experience at G5. Not only do they do Auto tint and PPF, but they also have film made for both residential and commercial use. Ricky has been protecting my family from Cali heat, rays, sun glare etc for many many years now. He has the absolute best team and they are the easiest people to work with and they are extremely knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Plus they have some of the best products in the industry such as formula-one, llumar, ceramic pro. He also has another location that focuses on 3m products. Best prices in la county and definitely some of the best installers in the game. Thank you Ricky and team. read more

They were fast and my windows looked good. The price was affordable to remove my tinted windows.

They know what they are doing. Clean work good pricing and availability. Definitely will use again.

Got a new car before the 2025 tariffs went into effect and that means I gotta make a stop at G5! I believe this is my 4th vehicle they've worked on for me. I called about a week ahead and made my appointment. I worked with Sierra and she was very knowledgeable about the products and services they offered. I feel like she helped me with my previous vehicle too. I tinted the windows with the 3M Crystalline film for the front doors, rear doors, rear window and front windshield . Due to time, I made a second visit to get the glass roof tinted as well with the same film. During the second visit, I had them apply PPF to the front bumper/headlights. Overall very happy with the product and the service was great. Kudos to Sierra for the great service and explanation of everything and what to expect. read more

This place is the best. I think I've brought the last 6 cars I've owned here for PPF and/or window film. Linda has helped me each time and is very insightful without pushing any products. Every time the work is flawless, and if something happens within warranty, they will make it right. I've settled on Formula One Stratos 70 as the perfect so cal window film, all 9 windows of my Tesla just got enamored with this heat shield. read more

I recently had the two front door windows tinted at G5 Tint Shop and they did an excellent job. The whole process only took about 30 minutes. What I really appreciated was that they showed me different tint quality options and let me see the differences for myself before deciding. The staff was professional, fast, and helpful. I'm very pleased with the results and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality window tinting. read more

I understand why this place has five stars. They have various options. I wanted a simple ceramic coating for heat and they were able to get me in in about a week and very straightforward pricing and process. The girls were nice and there's a little waiting area with some snacks. Plan for about 2 hours. Got my Honda Civic windshield done for $300 read more

I had my Model Three tinted by G5. The tint looks fantastic and now I am cool as a cucumber in time for summer!

Wanted to get the panoramic roof on my new Crown Signia tinted for heat/UV. Looked around and found lots of "Sketchy" shops. I found G5 on Google and emailed them. They quickly responded, asking me why I wanted to tint etc, once I explained why, they emailed me a detailed quote and broke down doing the roof separate from the windows. I visited the shop this morning to see what I thought and what tint value I wanted. This place is super clean with a Q-U-A-L-I-T-Y waiting area with soda and chips. The people who work there are super friendly and knowledgable about what they are doing with tint. I had them to the sunroof glass panels only with the mid grade ceramic and not that dark either. The result is amazing how much heat is coming off the glass into the cars interior, it's like night and day. So, I would highly recommend this business to anyone and everyone. I am not easy to please when it comes to work like this. read more

They did a great job and the communication was fast and helpful. I would use them again

These guys are great. I called about getting a quote for my BMW M240i on 8/6 and received a few options. When I picked the option I like best, which is the formula one stratos, I was offered an appointment the next day. I let them know that I wasn't picking my car up until that Saturday 8/9 and they were able to get me in that following Monday 8/11. When I got there in the morning they were ready for me, I filled out a quick intake form, picked my percentages(30% for sides and back, 70% for windshield) and went on my way. I picked up my car in the afternoon and it looked fantastic. Now that a few weeks have gone by and the tint has settled it looks really good, I'm also glad I decided to tint my windshield because it's helping with this crazy heat wave we are having. I would recommend these guys to anyone and I'm glad they came highly recommended on Reddit. read more

Everything was so smooth!!!!!! Highly recommended!!!!!! Very punctual!!!!!! Great service!!!!!

So far, I've used this company to tint windows on two cars. They're always very helpful and friendly. They also have a nice waiting room with snacks, drinks, and a TV. The other thing I personally like is their very nice bathroom. All too often business have awful bathrooms, but that's part of the customer experience and so they should be as nice as anything else the business is presenting their customers. So I appreciated that the G5 Tint Shop took time to also make sure the bathrooms were nice. read more

I messaged back and forth prior to choosing G5 to apply tint to my vehicle. They were very prompt and thorough with information. Scheduling was easy and they even got my car back to me earlier than promised. Only hiccup was not disclosing an additional fee to apply felt to the window gaskets due to a design flaw with my particular model car. Seems they were aware but didn't mention prior to scheduling. It didn't keep me from going ahead but it would have been nice to know. Overall I'm glad they pointed out the issue so I wouldn't be disappointed later. It's only been two days but definitely feel the difference with the sun already. Would recommend to a friend. read more

All my coworkers come here and recommended this spot so I requested a tint service through Yelp. The response time was super fast & I made my appointment right away. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend G5 tint shop enough. From the beginning Ricky and the team made the process enjoyable and easy. I came in with my new Mazda CX-5 wanting a fun color and instead of judging me, like some other places did, they joined in the fun and helped order some additional crazy color changing samples from a different PPF vendor than they usually work with, just so I could make the right decision. I ended up going with their Love Pink from their usual vendor. The actual PPF process was swift and professional, the car looks incredible as you can see in the photos. They even added metallic pink to the air fill up buttons to make it match, and did a great job suggesting color placement for the best result. However, what I think really shows off the customer service of G5 is how they handled the issues I was having with my sensors. They brought in the car twice to assess if it was a digital issue, or as it turned out, a paint buildup issue, after which they shaved down the paint to make the sensors work normally, all without any additional charge and without compromising the color story of the car. I will be going back to G5 in a few years when I want to switch the color. read more

I brought my vehicle to G5 Tint Shop for a full PPF wrap and tint job and the experience was excellent. I've brought two cars here now, and after several months, I really have to praise the work done at G5. My first visit was to tint a new car and my second was to get new tint on a passenger window that was replaced. Both employees at the front desk who helped me were very nice and informative. They have a small room complete with free drinks, snacks, and wifi that I hung out in while I waited. My cars were well taken care of. A little pricey, but for quality work and tint, I certainly got what I paid for and would absolutely come back in the future. read more

G5. I got lucky. I'm in the midst of a very nice project. A 1968 Ford F-100 truck. Called and spoke with Ricky. He spent a good 20 minutes with me on the phone discussing the challenges of classic vehicles and older glass. This job I had started with the removal of old tint on 55 year old glass. He honestly didn't want to do it. And I 100% understood why he felt that way. Long story short, we went ahead knowing it may not be perfect. When someone is honest with me I can give latitude in my expectations. Turns out there were no issues and I got what I needed without drama. The job looks great (still needs time to cure) and I'm really happy! Prices are reasonable and the place is very professional. Nikki was super helpful too. I'd never hesitate to recommend G5. You're better off if you own a Tesla :) but whatever you have, I'm sure they will do a great job! Thank you guys for a job well done! Scott read more

The mantra of you get for what you pay for goes far and true with tint and PPF. Having done 3 cars with Formula One I knew what I was getting when it comes to window film. Reading reviews about Llumar Valor and knowing it was made by the same company Eastman Chemical Company made it an easy option to go to having always done Suntek PPF. What mattered the most to me was getting an installer that didn't use paper cut stencil print outs and just put them on, but someone that actually goes above and beyond to wrap around the edges and do quality work with the PPF and that's why I went with G5. Ricky and Nikki were amazing to work with. The team was very responsive and informative on all my questions and what I was going to get. They provided updates all throughout the day of the progress with photos. The shop was clean, the installation even cleaner, and I'm sure they stand by their work and will help with any warranty requests or issues if it's reasonable. My Model Y looks great and I highly recommend this shop for your tinting and PPF needs. read more

When I was searching Yelp reviews for places that were able to tint Tesla Model 3 rear windows in one piece, G5 Tint Shop stood out based on price and quality of work. I actually took my car twice, because I was happy with the quality of the work and my experience with the shop. Ricky was very quick and helpful in replying to my questions about quotes and made the appointment process so easy. G5 will text you to remind you of your appointment a few days before, which was super helpful because I had made an appointment almost a month out. After dropping your car off, you can opt to wait in the waiting area, which has an assortment of chips, water, soda and coffee. If you decide not to wait around, they will text you once the job is done. While they are working on your car, you will receive an email of the window film lifetime warranty. The first time I went with the FormulaOne Pinnacle 40 all around and was happy with the job. The second time I went was to tint my rear window after getting it replaced due to a crack. During the second time, I went with the FormulaOne Pinnacle 30 to get more heat rejection since the car gets so hot during the summers. It's only been 2 days and the tint hasn't fully cured but it's looking good so far. read more
