Wanted to get the panoramic roof on my new Crown Signia tinted for heat/UV. Looked around and found lots of "Sketchy" shops. I found G5 on Google and emailed them. Got a new car before the 2025 tariffs went into effect and that means I gotta make a stop at G5! I believe this is my 4th vehicle they've worked on for me. I called about a week ahead and made my appointment. I worked with Sierra and she was very knowledgeable about the products and services they offered. I feel like she helped me with my previous vehicle too. I tinted the windows with the 3M Crystalline film for the front doors, rear doors, rear window and front windshield . Due to time, I made a second visit to get the glass roof tinted as well with the same film. During the second visit, I had them apply PPF to the front bumper/headlights. These guys are great. I called about getting a quote for my BMW M240i on 8/6 and received a few options. When I picked the option I like best, which is the formula one stratos, I was offered an appointment the next day. I let them know that I wasn't picking my car up until that Saturday 8/9 and they were able to get me in that following Monday 8/11. When I got there in the morning they were ready for me, I filled out a quick intake form, picked my percentages(30% for sides and back, 70% for windshield) and went on my way. I picked up my car in the afternoon and it looked fantastic. So far, I've used this company to tint windows on two cars. They're always very helpful and friendly. They also have a nice waiting room with snacks, drinks, and a TV. The other thing I personally like is their very nice bathroom. All too often business have awful bathrooms, but that's part of the customer experience and so they should be as nice as anything else the business is presenting their customers. I messaged back and forth prior to choosing G5 to apply tint to my vehicle. They were very prompt and thorough with information. Scheduling was easy and they even got my car back to me earlier than promised. Only hiccup was not disclosing an additional fee to apply felt to the window gaskets due to a design flaw with my particular model car. Seems they were aware but didn't mention prior to scheduling. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend G5 tint shop enough. From the beginning Ricky and the team made the process enjoyable and easy. I came in with my new Mazda CX-5 wanting a fun color and instead of judging me, like some other places did, they joined in the fun and helped order some additional crazy color changing samples from a different PPF vendor than they usually work with, just so I could make the right decision. I ended up going with their Love Pink from their usual vendor. The actual PPF process was swift and professional, the car looks incredible as you can see in the photos. They even added metallic pink to the air fill up buttons to make it match, and did a great job suggesting color placement for the best result. However, what I think really shows off the customer service of G5 is how they handled the issues I was having with my sensors. They brought in the car twice to assess if it was a digital issue, or as it turned out, a paint buildup issue, after which they shaved down the paint to make the sensors work normally, all without any additional charge and without compromising the color story of the car. I will be going back to G5 in a few years when I want to switch the color. read more

G5. I got lucky. I'm in the midst of a very nice project. A 1968 Ford F-100 truck. Called and spoke with Ricky. He spent a good 20 minutes with me on the phone discussing the challenges of classic vehicles and older glass. This job I had started with the removal of old tint on 55 year old glass. He honestly didn't want to do it. And I 100% understood why he felt that way. Long story short, we went ahead knowing it may not be perfect. The mantra of you get for what you pay for goes far and true with tint and PPF. Having done 3 cars with Formula One I knew what I was getting when it comes to window film. Reading reviews about Llumar Valor and knowing it was made by the same company Eastman Chemical Company made it an easy option to go to having always done Suntek PPF. What mattered the most to me was getting an installer that didn't use paper cut stencil print outs and just put them on, but someone that actually goes above and beyond to wrap around the edges and do quality work with the PPF and that's why I went with G5. Ricky and Nikki were amazing to work with. The team was very responsive and informative on all my questions and what I was going to get. They provided updates all throughout the day of the progress with photos.
