With summer here and SoCal's hot weather around the corner, I needed some window tint. I shopped around on Yelp and made a few calls. ProTint quoted me better prices compared to a couple of other places. The guy I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant, but didn't tell me I should make an appointment for the following day, even when I told him I will be going in. The next day, I called in just to double check, and was told they were completely booked, and I should make an apt. So I had to change my plans. Once there, the work took about an hour as stated by the staff. There's a comfortable waiting room where I relaxed. The job was great. There was no bubbling and looked awesome. I noticed the ceramic tint I chose did a great job deflecting the Las Vegas over 100 degree heat on my recent road trip. No complaints. Service Requested: Install (my own new provided) 2 Kicker 46HS10 10" Hideaway subs on my 19' RAM 1500 Sport Crew Cab. Quality: The audio install technician did an amazing job of the install, doing a clean job of hiding the cables and mounting the bass knobs a reachable location by my steering wheel. He asked me where I wanted them, I showed him and he got it done. Value: They gave me a great price as my install was a very straight forward setup. They charged me $240 for labor which was a reasonable price due to the fact that I provided all the new hardware (no amps needed, straight plug n play with these subs and comes with everything you need). It took about 3 hours for them to install it. I hung around in their waiting area, walked around the area for a bit and grabbed lunch at the Hat and they called me when it was ready. The staff there were great and friendly. I like how the subs increased the bass on my radio system, not too much bass but just the right amount that you can hear and feel. Had my tint installed about 5 years ago. In reviewing the website I noticed that the tint was "lifetime warranty." The tint I have on my Honda started to peel on the back window. When calling to claim my warranty they informed me that I needed the physical receipt or invoice. However, the owner was kind enough to help me as a one time courtesy considering I've been a customer for over 5 years. TL;DR: Not recommended. Time estimates were inaccurate and installation quality was unacceptable. I was quoted $200 for tinting two front windows, with an estimated 1-hour turnaround. First visit: When I arrived with an appointment, I was told it would actually take 3 hours -- requiring me to arrange two Uber rides. Soon after, I noticed increased wind noise, significant residue, and the tint began peeling from the bottom. Second visit: Returned a few days later. I was assured a fix would take less than 2 hours, but I didn't get a call until 4 hours later. More Uber rides. Within days, the tint began bubbling and peeling again -- in the same spot. I followed all aftercare instructions carefully: no window use, no touching the film. At this point I've spent $200 on the tint, $150 on Ubers (4 trips), 7+ hours waiting -- and now have to pay another shop to remove and replace the tint properly. Jeff stopped responding to my messages. Save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. read more

They're pricey but it's worth it. I came here to tint the windshield on my Accord and it came out to be around 200 dollars. I've also had them tint an HR-V (all around + windshield) for just over 700 dollars. It's certainly far from cheap, but their quality of work is amazing. They do the tinting indoors so you get a lot less dust between the tint and the glass than if you were to go to a shop that does it outside. They cut the tint film extremely accurately, following the curvature of the window with extreme precision. I've gotten my car tinted at other shops before and you could always see a part of the tint where it was cut unevenly. I've tinted two cars here and have yet to come across the same issue. The quality of the films are excellent. They offer a variety of ceramic options, all very high quality and priced competitively. Walk-ins are welcome. Just note that it would take a couple hours longer as they need to finish other cars first. There's also a cozy waiting room if you're not able to get a ride elsewhere. read more

I had gotten my reverse camera done in May of 2024. They have a one-year warranty policy where they are able to fix it for free. Sadly on Aug 2025, just 3 months after my warranty expired, my backup camera would not show up on my car's radio. I texted them a few times asking what I should do, but I did not get a response back. So I had to call them and make an appointment. I made an appointment and was told that something was wrong with the camera itself. It would cost $180 for the camera and labor. Because of my situation, I decided that I could not do it, and just leave it. They put everything back together, and the backup camera started appearing on my radio screen, but it's not guaranteed for how long. Though getting another camera installed was a bit cheaper (price-wise) compared to when I initially did it, I'm afraid that the same situation would just occur again. Though I must say, this shop was very helpful in helping me find out the problem and solution, as well as welcoming me as a customer. read more

Finally pulled the trigger on getting my 2023 Toyota Prius tinted. Got quoted very quickly on Pro-Tint help page and received a quote on the different tiers ceramic tints. Spoke to Jeff via Yelp and was able to schedule an appointment right away to get my car serviced. My appointment only took about two hours to complete. Upon my arrival, I met with Jasmine who worked in the front office and she was very friendly and patient with me while looking at the different tier ceramic tint levels of darkness. Each tier packages come with limited or lifetime warranty. Quality is good and you get what you paid for. Post appointment, Jasmine informed me to not roll the windows down for at least 3-4 days and to not wash my car for at least a week for the ceramic to set.
