Found this place on yelp while trying to find a place to set up my front and rear dash cams with a magic box. Price wise, they are pretty average/similar to other places that setup dashcams. I spent $227.50. I phoned in for a Saturday appointment that week, dropped my car in the morning and got it back in the afternoon. Estimated time was a little longer than expected and I wasn't notified. Not a big problem, but it would've been a plus. Lastly, noticed some marks on the matte paint in my rear window. I requested pricing on a Saturday evening and received a comprehension breakdown of the different tints available the next day. As a novice on tints, I needed someone to answer questions that I had as well. Jeff was the one that helped answer my questions in store and did an excellent job in providing the explanations. After the conversation, I requested to schedule an appointment to get all my windows done and sunroof installed with the selected tint. Due to a last minute cancellation, one of the staff gave me a call to let me know my appointment could be pushed up. That worked even better for me and I appreciated the option to choose. A long-overdue review, but I had to make sure there weren't any issues that could arise. I usually go to a different tint shop for my cars in the past but because this time I have a baby to consider on my drive, I really wanted to make sure babe is protected in the back. I reached out on Yelp for quotes for my Model Y. Jeff, the owner quickly responded and was able to communicate with me with any questions I had and provided me with quotes for all the options of tint they had. I had two other referrals that had recently had their car tinted so it wasn't a hard choice to move forward. Day-of-service: Jasmine was pleasant. She got me all set up to leave the car. I had my baby with me so there was a lot to take with me. The car was finished within 4-5 hrs. She gave me instructions on aftercare and I was off. I did notice some bubbles a few days later and residue from the glue around the trunk and speakers. I messaged Jeff about it and he apologized. Instructed me on how to remove it and if it didn't come off, to bring it back to the shop for them to clean it up. The bubbles eventually evaporated after 2 weeks. Came here with my Tesla Model Y upon the strong recommendation of my brother earlier this year. I wanted to tint my car using 3M and also a ceramic coating. The ceramic coating was a new service they were doing at the time. I met the owner Jeff and and he walked me exactly what what he was going to do. We all know how notoriously bad Tesla can be with their paint job and this was no difference. Despite only having my car for 2 weeks and driven it less than 200 miles, it still needed to be buffed out before they could apply the ceramic coating. No problem though, they handled it like a pro. I was so happy with my experience at ProTint. To start off, getting a quote was so easy and quick. Jeff replied to my request for a quote through Yelp in less than 15 minutes. I'm disappointed with the service I received. I took my Tesla Model Y in for tinting, and since the rear windows already had tint, I asked for the front windows to be tinted to match. The shop recommended 70 tint for the back and 30 for the front two windows to keep the heat out and match the rear windows. However, after the work was done, the difference between the front and rear tint was very noticeable and I hate it. ProTint offered to remove and replace the front tint with a 15 tint for an additional $180, but I've already spent a lot of money and don't want to spend more. I hope that in the future, ProTint can provide better guidance to its customers based on their expertise. read more

I hired this place to tint my husband's Audi A4 for Christmas. It was a removal and re-tint with a darker tint. The car is a 2014, was bought brand new, then spent almost its whole life sitting in the beating down sun at home and at work. As a result, his old tint was faded, bubbly, and just looked like crap! For starters, I sent numerous messages out on Yelp at the same time. Not only was this place one of the first ones who responded, but they were able to accommodate my last minute scheduling (I called the week of Christmas haha - wife of the year!). I received a clear quote up front, and even told them to not talk to my husband about pricing or accept any cards from him at all and they stuck to that haha. They called every step of the way, including to tell us that they'd have to hand-scrape the old rear tint off, which would possibly result in the rear defroster becoming damaged (common in this situation), and we were given the option of proceeding or stopping. They even called a window guy for pricing on replacing the whole back window vs. having to pay extra for it to be hand-scraped and tinted again! Since it's a luxury car, the replacement was going to be more expensive, but how nice of them was that to call and try to find us the cheapest solution?! It was going to take a full day (drop off one night, pickup a full evening later), but then they ended up finishing faster than expected. The car looks amazing!
