Very disappointing experience. I originally brought my Prius here for window tinting. The price changed twice, but I went ahead with the work anyway. Later, I decided to give them more business and brought my mom's Toyota Yaris hatchback to get tinted. The first time I was quoted $230. When I came back, I was quoted $330 for the same car. That's a $100 difference, which made no sense to me. On the day I planned to have the tint done, I waited for over an hour for them to open. Eventually, I got tired of waiting, called another local tint shop, and took the car there instead. I don't mind paying a fair price for good work, but I expect consistent pricing and a business to be open when it's supposed to be. Fantastic tint work! Messaged the owner Victor on IG for a quote and he was very responsive. First come first serve basis so you'll need to come early as possible since there's a chance there's a line once the shop opens up. Came on a Thursday morning and there was someone waiting before the shop opened. I opted for ceramic tint with 15% in the front and 35% in the rear since my windows were factory dyed. He suggested 20% to blend better in which I agreed, but it came out lighter than my liking so he re-tinted to 15% for me at cost. Really appreciate his understanding and craftsmanship! read more

Victor is awesome. I checked a few places to wire up our dashcam and he was very reasonable in price. Even suggested mounting the rear camera inside the car to avoid damage from car washes, etc. (Which is how I originally thought it would go). He even offered to help uninstall it if we ever sell the car. Only thing I'd suggest is call before going to pick up your car. I came here because I wanted top notch auto alarm installation, however I was convinced to purchase a product they had in stock. That was my first mistake because I came here with a specific alarm system in mind. However, he (owner) talked me out of it and now I see why. This guy will lie to you in your face. First off, the installation was fair/average which is 2.5 stars but what I didn't like was as he was installing the system he tried selling me other products/services he had. Don't get me wrong, that's marketing for any typical business but it was the way this person tried to make a sale. His style was desperate and I call that "shady business practices" where he only offers what he has in stock and at high prices. He would throw a number at you that was 2 to 3 times the cost of the product. When you deny the offer, he will cut off 33% or so making you feel like you're getting a good deal. If you do/did your research, you'd realize this but if not then you get ripped off thinking you got a deal. There was one additional service I agreed to because I knew the price was very good, we made an appointment for follow up service. This guy (owner/installer) played a childish trick. He pretended his flight got delayed and could not make the appointment just to weasel his way out of a service/quote he gave me. Funny, he thinks people actually fall for that trick! If you need his service(s), do your research and/or bring in your product and pay him for the installation only if it's a reasonable price. DON'T FALL FOR THE 5 STARS, PROBABLY HIS FRIENDS and FAMILY! read more

Third time is NOT a charm. Previously had positive experiences so I decided to bring my third car back. Once again, first come first serve so show up early. Except it should be noted that the hours listed on Yelp are inaccurate. It says 8AM on Sunday so that's when I showed up. They didn't open until 9AM. When Victor came out to see my car he realizes he misquoted me because he was not aware of the size of the windows and sunroofs. He at least acknowledged his mistake and would only charge me a little more than his quote but less than what it should be. And then they ran out of film and couldn't finish my car. They got pretty much everything done except my panoramic sunroof. He tells me to come back another day after he gets more film and he'll finish the job. He tells me that I can show up and he will take care of me right away so that I don't have to wait. (Watch him deny this later). This is where things start to get a little ugly. I live in San Diego so coming here takes a lot of effort. I text him later in the week and ask if he received more film so that I can plan to come in to get the job done. He tells me he has film but he won't be in the shop over the weekend because he is going out of town. At the time, I don't see why that would be an issue if his staff will be present to take care of the job. I tell him I am okay with him not being present. The day before I arrive he asks me to call him and tells me that the film they received that week was bad. They have other shades, but not the specific one I had requested. He offers to call around to other shops for supply and let me know what he finds. He actually never called me back and I just text him saying I would be okay with the darker shade (simply because I wanted to get it done and not delay the job any longer). On Sunday morning I arrive to the shop. I was not the first person to come so they were already working on another car. Victor said that they would take care of me right away so I don't have to wait when I returned so that is why I didn't show up early this day. When I speak to one of the staff about finishing the job he takes the key and tells me it will be about an hour to an hour and forty-five. (Watch how they spin this later). I come back a little over an hour later and notice that my car hasn't moved and they were still working on the same car from earlier. I ask them if they started yet and they tell me that there are three cars ahead of me and that it was going to be an hour to an hour forty-five before they would start. WHAT?! That is not what he said earlier. He did not say how many cars were ahead of me and that the time he quoted was how long it would be until they got started. Pissed, I call Victor and tell him what just happened between me and his staff, that they didn't honor the arrangement he had promised, and he says he'll call them and call me back. A few minutes later he calls me back and apologizes for what happened and re-emphasizes why he wanted to be present when I returned. Again, I don't see why I would need to wait for him if he could have instructed his staff on what was going to happen and what they needed to do. I remind him how much effort it takes to get into town for the tint and he offers to make it right and get me finished 100%. He offers to call people he knows in San Diego to complete the tint for me and he would take care of the bill. I'm not entirely thrilled because I wanted the job done that day, but him offering to pay for its completion near my home was pretty kind. So I accept and thank him for offering to help me. Three days later, Wednesday, I text him and asks he he had any luck finding someone in San Diego to finish my tint. He replies, "Yes boss trying to set up times and day." I wait through Friday and still don't get any response. I text him on Saturday to please let me know if he can't find someone to finish the job so that I can find someone to do it instead of waiting around and delaying it any longer. No response. Ghosted. Needless to say, I will never come back. Don't trust anything they say. Don't trust anything they promise. Watch them respond to this review and refute everything I said with some nonsense. read more

Went here for a basic in dash DVD player, and ceramic tint on an 8 window vehicle (2010 Honda Fit) , the Initial price was fair and comparable, to other shops... but what set him apart was.... after by doing some research .... Weeks later, I decided I wanted to upgrade my head unit ... he helped with the selection of a new head unit, got me a price comparable to just ordering off the internet, provided professional installation and even gave me credit for previous head unit, he had Installed. I would like to to think my setup up is complete ... but I will be coming back to have the factory speakers replaced ... knowing I will get sound advice and a fair price You can't go wrong P.s. I was at this business a few months ago looking to get a car alarm installed. I assumed it was the owner who I spoke to on the phone and in person because of the way the conversation went. He said he needed to check the car to make sure which alarm would be a good fit. When I got there, he asked for my keyless remote and pressed its buttons until my car's horn went off a few times. After doing I don't know what else to the car with the keyless remote because he pressed different buttons -- he then said he didn't have the alarm I would need in stock that he would need to order it. I said I'd get back to him because I was looking to get it installed that day. So I drove away. I turned some music on after a few minutes and my sound system was messed up. The sound was working only on one side. I tried to check the settings on the sound system and everything seemed normal so I was forced to do a system reset to fixed the issue. No one else touched with my car that morning so it had to be that whatever this guy did with the keyless remote messed up my sound system. Very sketchy to do such a thing. I mean, if he works with alarm and sound systems, he should know what he's doing! I don't know if he wanted me to go back so he could charge me to fix what he messed up. read more

I got my Jeep tinted by who I believe is the owner. That went okay. I Went back a couple weeks later when I could to get some windows fixed since I had noticed 5 windows had some minor bubbles. This time there were 2 younger men working that day. They told me only one window would need to be redone, and the others would be smoothed out. They stated the bubbles on the edges of the tint was "normal" and weren't very noticeable. I thought that was not normal, but said okay. I waited the allotted time for them to redo the one window and the other stuff to the other windows. As I drove off, I started looking for my vape that I had left on my seat and couldn't find it. I had other things to do, so I decided to call the shop to ask where they might have placed it when they needed to move the car, but the owner answered. He then told me he himself wasn't at the shop at that time, but he would call his guys and ask them and also let me know he would check the cameras and get back to me as soon as he could. That was about two weeks ago, and I never got a call back and my vape never popped up again. I do not like to accuse people of things by any means, however, that was the last it was in my possession. Yes, it's just a vape, however, it should have never been taken from my car. And on top of all that, my tint still has bubbles in it. I absolutely recommended this place until now. And even now, I am mad at the person who recommended this place to me. I paid $340 to do my entire Jeep and even included a $40 tip that I regret ever paying.
