Front driver and passenger side tints not matching the stock tint.

I usually don't write reviews, but since it was the reviews I read that lead me to go with Route 66 Wraps, I figured I owed it to other reviewers. I first went to Route 66 Wraps to get a tinting quote for my front driver, and passenger side tints replaced on my Ford Flex since they were beginning to peel. I found the cost a lil pricey. I found a much cheaper location, but when informed Route 66 Wraps, the owner explained that tiny wasn't the high quality heat diffusing ceramic tints he was offering, so I went with Route 66 Wraps. The tint job was decent, but one of the guys had place a wet rag he had used on my passenger seat leaving a wet spot, when I brought it to his attention he dried it with his heat gun, but it left a stain on my upholstery. When I showed the owner, the worker tried to deny he did it. Route 66 Wraps tried to clean it, but the stain was still there after it dried again. That should have been my indication to go elsewhere for future service. But, I had some time off, and wanted to get tints done on my Alfa Romero, and figured I'd go there since Route 66 Wraps already were familiar with me, so I scheduled an appointment. I explained clearly to the owner at Route 66 Wraps that I wanted a flush look with the stock rear tints, he suggested 35%, but I asked if he had some samples to compare to insure a flush look with the stock tints, he said "no" and insured the 35% was a match, he suggested I get the windshield done also so I figured why not to protect dashboard and got it. It was 35% that I had installed on the Flex, so I was already thinking it would be to light but took his word anyway. I want to get the Alpha Romeo wrapped also so I looked through some colors and patterns and showrd a couple I was interested in and Route 66 Wraps even ordered a couple samples for me to check out. Wrap was quoted at a little more than $3,500. I had gotten the Alfa Romero detailed before taking it to Route 66 Wraps, and it was beginning to get dark by time they finished, so I really couldn't tell how well the match was then. But once I was exiting my car once I got home I noticed the workers dirty shoe marks up and down the bottom of my Alfa Romero door threshold I just had detailed, so again I'm thinking for the price Route 66 Wraps is charging, they really need to do a better job protecting customers cars, and was going to suggest they get some furniture protecting blankets for when working on customers cars. I never got the chance. The following morning I could see immediately that the tints didn't match, and were too much lighter than the stock so I was not happy with them. I texted Route 66 Wraps to let them know, but after not receiving a response, I returned to Route 66 Wraps after work to inform them I was not happy, they scheduled me for replacement the following day, and I was cool with that. But, once I arrived and they were about to start work the owner of Route 66 Wraps informed me he was going to charge me another $100 in addition to the $200 I had already spent, I was like "no way am I paying $300+ for tinting 2 windows", so I reversed my car and left. Waste of money as I now have to get those tints removed and replaced elsewhere to get what I originally asked for. So no, I won't be getting my Alpha Romero wrapped @ Route 66 Wraps. I'll update when I locate a professional shop for these services, I've already received a good lead on one. Shalom

By Far one of the worst places to get window tint I had scratches and cuts all over my interior I had some burn marks on my bumper from the heat gun. It's a shady place they close the doors and won't let you see in. I felt like I got ripped off I choose ceramic but felt like carbon film. Never going back there again stay away from this place.

A couple of months ago, I came in to get ceramic window tint for my new car. I was extremely satisfied with the installation and the look it gave me car. When I got home that day, I noticed condensation and moisture on the panel under the rear windshield. While cleaning that up I also noticed that there were water stains on the pillars of the rear windshield and the door panels. I emailed Michael right away and was more than happy to get this fixed for me. I appreciated his willingness to help! When I brought the car to get cleaned, I asked them to also install windshield tint and smoked taillight tint. Again, I was extremely satisfied with the tint installation on my windshield and they even replaced my front driver window tint since they found contamination during an inspection!! However due to the fires in Pasadena , I was told they were unable to wash my car and clean the stains, which I totally understood. Regarding my taillight tint, when I first picked it up, everything looked great. When I got home that day, I noticed some peeling on one of the edges. I tried to pressed it down which seemed to work, but when Inspected it further, i noticed there were several other areas with peeling, untucked corners, swirls on the black trim around the lights , and a razor blade scratch on my taillight. I was not happy with this considering it is a brand new car. I reached out and asked them to remove the taillight tint since I was not satisfied. Michael offered to redo the tint however, at that point I just wanted my money back. He suggested that I only wanted to remove it because it was not dark enough, which was totally not the case. I was told that they use "knifeless tape" and weren't sure how the scratch got there but offered to try and buff it out anyways. Upon further inspection, I found more razor blade scratching on the edges of the taillights, they were for the most past along the edge of the light which made it not noticeable from afar, but if you look closer, you can see where the blade deviates from the edge and makes some noticeable scratches. This does not seem like something knifeless tape does. I am not trying to bash their business, as I am simply describing my experience. I was extremely satisfied with my tint , and their willingness to help when I noticed an issue. But I was not satisfied with the taillight tint and the damage caused to my car.

Took my Tesla M3 for tint and PPF. I'll preface by saying this review would be 1 star for any other business, but because of owner and staff commitment to making things right (and the fact that they are a new business with quality people - just not quality work), I'm left with an overall positive impression despite a very frustrating process and stressful experience that I would not go through again. Michael, the owner, went above and beyond to order the film I wanted for the tint - LLumar IRX at 25% side windows, rear windshield, and sunroof, and 50% front windshield. He checked all the boxes: experienced/knowledgable, communicative, could tint the rear windshield in one piece, and reasonably priced. I brought my car in Thursday morning and was told it would be ready by Saturday. Saturday rolled around and I'm told Sunday - first 1pm, then 4:30. I arrive at 5pm and upon arrival, not only was it not done - but they had done 50% tint on my windows when everything confirmed I had requested 25%. Apology accepted; I'm told it will be ready by the next day (Monday) end of day. (note: I did not inspect closely at this time; it was 6pm, dark, and I needed to leave) The next day at 6pm, I pick up the car and the same conditions apply - it's dark and I had to go so I inspect it lightly and put a lot of faith on a job well done. Later that night and the next morning, I take a closer look, and while the windows look okay (not expecting perfection), I become increasingly horrified while examining the rest. There is dust, debris, hair, contamination on the front and rear windshields, and areas of PPF just poking out, uncut, unsealed. Long story short, I bring it back in, they give me a complimentary rental, and I pick it up in a few days. The fix is better and acceptable, and Jose (who specializes in PPF) kindly helps me fix the glaring areas on the spot while I point them out one by one, feeling like a Karen. He reassures me that the water stains all along the interior will dry and fade, which they do not. I end up having to come back and Andre (who does the washes/detailing), gets them out. At this point, I have spent several hours driving back and forth and messaging, and several days waiting. What should have been a seamless experience of maybe 3-4 days ends up taking 3-4 weeks to be resolved. Not accomplished, but resolved. I really can't praise the character of the people who comprise this establishment enough, but the quality/production standards just aren't quite there yet. I'm optimistic they'll improve with time and experience, and understand that most people probably aren't as picky as I am and perhaps have a higher tolerance for certain things... but at the end of the day, one should be able to expect a job to be done reasonably well, and done reasonably well the first time around. That being said, I am ultimately satisfied (after/in spite of a ton of nonsense) and appreciate the hard work that goes into car detailing, especially by good people.

Brought my Toyota RAV4 for window tinting. Michael the owner was down to earth and genuinely a great guy. Offered a great price to put ceramic tint on all windows + front windshield and the end result was beautiful! Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

I loved working with these guys. They were so professional, courteous, and reliable. I'm lucky to have been referred to this 'diamond in the rough' shop. I recently brought my Blue car to Route 66 to have it wrapped and changed to White. They did a fantastic job. The attention to detail is impeccable. The artistry is immaculate. They also tinted my windows, changed the rims, front grill, and soft top without breaking the bank. These guys went above and beyond and completely exceeded my expectations. They worked efficiently and got the job done promptly, which I appreciated. Not to mention, the car looks flawless! Thank you to Route 66 Tint & Wrap for providing me the best service possible and making my car look brand new and stunning. "Simply the best!"

From all windows getting tinted with Llumar ceramic tint to wrapping parts of the vehicle to have the murdered out black look. Michael and his team executed with great customer service and even better product. I will be back taking my wife's offroad outback to get a full arabian grey wrap. Here is a before and after look.

Took my BMW to get all around tints. Most places are already booked up for weeks and are charging exorbitant high prices for so-so quality tints. When I called Route 66, Mary was so kind and helpful every step of the way. I was able to make an appointment within a few days. Overall, the relationship made with this shop was extraordinary. The owner Mike was very friendly, helpful and will go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. The technician, Ricardo knows his way around cars and since they are already an exotic car rental store, they know their way around sports cars. If there are any issues, they are attentive to make sure you leave satisfied. If you're looking for the best place to get your car looking it best, look no further than Route 66. Mike will take care of you, I assure it.

Hands down this is one of the best kept secrets for getting your car tinted and wrapped with the latest PPF protection films in the San Gabriel Valley. Michael and his team of experts made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. From the initial phone call with Michael we knew right away that his priority is his team's excellent customer service. We got our new Tesla Model Y wrapped with the clear Llumar PPF film with integrated ceramic coating. We also opted to tint the front windows with Llumar tint as well just to match the rest of the dark OEM windows. The price was very competitive compared to a neighboring tint shop and we were superbly impressed with the quality of care the team at Route 66 expressed to us. We would highly recommend them over and over for all your tint and car wrapping needs. Thank you Michael and Route 66 Team!!!

Needed my front windshield tinted only. Michael, the owner reached out to me and he gave me a great price for Llumar ceramic tint. It took about an hour and 15 minutes and the waiting area was spacious. Would recommend since Micheal was very hospitable and service was quick and easy.

These guys are awesome!!! When I called to get the windows tinted on my new car I was able yo book exactly when I wanted to come in. The service actually took a shorter time then quoted. The manager was extremely helpful and the guys who did the tint did an amazing job. The also do a very nice car wash! Couldn't have my new ride looking dusty with the freshly tinted windows!

After much consideration, I decided it was time to replace her stereo with something that had a few more bells and whistles. I wound up putting a project out and collecting bids with the best experience coming from Planet Stereo. Gilbert offered a great price, now let's go through the actual installation. I was quoted $500 out the door for a mechless receiver and all of the aftermarket parts to install. It was quite a steal. After looking up the specific stereo, I figured this was acceptable and made the drive. Gilbert suggested the install would take about 2 hours, so I planned for a good amount of time for this. Now, it did take longer than expected. However, I was warned of that when I arrived, as they were busier than normal the day I opted to drive over. They do have a lounge area where you can sit and watch TV while you wait. I would suggest bringing something to snack on. There are some restaurants somewhat nearby, but refreshments while at the store are lacking. That said, I was comfortable enough watching a Rams game while they worked away. The result was a perfect install. They did apologize for the length of time, but I was okay with that, since I got to watch the entire game. The gentleman working the floor (forgot your name, sorry!) walked me out to check out the job and show me some of the basic functions of the new deck. They did need parts that they didn't factor into cost, and included them at no additional charge to me. And the deck, while an off name, did have some very important features like wireless Apple CarPlay - a huge win at that price point. They even have a finance option, which can amount to 90 days same as cash (with small processing fee) or longer terms if needed. Great install, and great staff. Higher end options also available if you have the budget, which I did not.
