I wanted wireless and wired Apple CarPlay for my Corolla and new speakers so I messaged a few places. I got a response from Jeff, the owner, very quickly and he was the only one who would give me a straight answer as to how much it would roughly cost, everyone else wouldn't give estimates over the phone. Jeff was extremely knowledgeable and gave me his personal number to reach out with any questions I had, even before I confirmed I wanted to work with him. Then as we finalized plans, I was able to meet him and the team at the shop. They go the installation done fast, I was able to pick it up the same day I dropped it off. There was an issue with the data/charging connector that was the manufacturers fault, so they did their best to fix it. Sadly it was completely on the manufacturer so we just went with a different option that worked just fine. 10/28/2023 - Jeff reached out by direct message and told me to come in to have it checked again. I came in on Sat and his team went ahead to check my scratch/bubble on my front driver and rear pocket window. They agreed on the replacement tint and went ahead with it. The process took about 1 hour before they told me it was finished. The scratch and majority of the bubble were gone after the replacement tints. 11/11/2023 - After the tint curing process, I notice that my replacement tint on my front driver side was a different shade with the passenger side. The replacement tint was more on the blue side while the passenger side was black. I contacted Jeff & his team again on the issue and they were very understanding on the issue. They told me that they would replace the passenger side window for me. Again, the process was fairly quick which took about an hour. Overall, I did have to go in 4 times but Jeff was very understanding about my issue and was willing to resolve them. read more

SHORT VERSION: Got my rear driver's side window tinted. Someone broke the window, so I only had to replace the one window Great customer service. Very nice and clean waiting area, with large comfy seats, and A/C. STORY VERSION: I originally had my whole car tinted at California Tint. I tried to go back there for the one window, after work. (I try to fill my errands on the same day I work in office for convenience.) California Tint turned me away, telling me to come back on another day, dropping off my car at 9am, as their day fills up, and would be unable to fulfill any drive up orders. I had dinner plans in the area and didn't want to waste the day. I called Pro Tint, to see if they would be able to work on my car today. I was told that they can squeeze me in, since it is just one window. I arrived at Pro Tint, and they have a nice roomy lot for parking. My car was evaluated and I was assured they can get this done today. Clerk said they will try to match the color as best as they can, but there is some fading of the current tint on my car. (Original tint was done in Sept 2019). They have a nice clean waiting area. The A/C was working well, which was nice, considering it was 89 degrees outside, according to my car. I most definitely would recommend tinting your Windows here. Not only are the staff knowledgeable, they are friendly, quick, honest, and patient. The place is clean and has a spot for you to wait if you're willing, if not there's plenty of places to eat around 626! I came from OC so I didn't mind exploring the area for some food. They did a great job with the tint! They do warn you about the little water bubbles, but those disappear within a few days to a week. Very easy instructions for aftercare, but also very easy to forget Lol. Don't be like me and roll down your windows after getting your car lol! Sometimes I even forget to turn on the AC because of how cool it would feel after driving for a bit. It does maintain cold temperature a lot more, so if you sleep in the car, use a blanket. I had two different tints, ceramic and 3M crystalline, because Honda Civic hatchbacks have a more unique back window, they highly recommended ceramic tint. It can damage the border around the window because of how it's shaped, so FYI! Everything else (my 4-doors and the front window are all 3M crystalline tint). No bubbles or problems! It is a bit pricey compared to your average tint, but much more affordable than OC prices! Highly recommend if you want to make your car cool (literally) read more

COVID-19 Edition Review When I got a new car in December 2020, I knew that I wanted to get my windows tinted so I sent out a bunch of quotes to other places on Yelp and Jeff responded in a timely manner. He gave me the best quote out of other places for the 3M tints, which I wanted to get because I heard that was the best kind. Due to various things at that time, my appointment time was pushed back and I didn't get to tint my car until like 2 weeks into January. I got the Solar Guard one and patiently described each kind they had and let me take my time deciding which % I wanted. The girl who worked there was super nice and easy to talk to when helping me decide which tints was best for my car and %. She originally told me it was going to take about 2.5 hours - 3 hours and I could wait in the waiting room there but it was done within like 1.5-2 hours! The only thing that kinda bothered me was that there were water splatters everywhere on the side of my car and front windshield but I can easily cleaned off so don't fret if you have the same problem! Have been waiting for my new Thinkware dash cam to arrive, the store called immediately when they received the product to schedule an appointment for me. Had it installed last Saturday. The installation was done timely and neatly. Jeff, the owner, and his staff helped me to download the app, connected to wi-fi, and walked me through the function of each setting. The installer has already set them up at standard settings but now I know how to adjust them if and when I feel needed. Came here last year to get my new car tinted. Before choosing to use this shop for my tint job, I've called around a few places and this place has the best price for the particular tint film that I wanted and plus I've had previous good experience with this shop years ago, so I've decided to use this shop again for this new tint job. Unfortunately I wished I had went else this time. It appears a lot has changed since the last time I was here. The workmanship has really gone down hill. The owner (a great guy) is no longer there full time to do quality assurance before delivering the completed job and so they might not put detail into their work anymore. My service writer was very hesitant to fix the problem when I brought it up to her attention. But eventually we were able to settle for some resolutions. After returning to the shop multiple times to have the problems fixed and seen multiple installers working on different panels at different times. Based on my observations, one particular installer was the culprit for the poor workmanship and I know he's been working at the shop for a long time so should have plenty of experiences. read more

I found ProTint via Yelp and decided to go with them for tinting all 4 windows and the rear windshield. Jeff gave me a detailed quote with competitive prices on all of their films, and I decided to go with the Xpel Prime XR Plus. I took the car in as one of the last customers on a Saturday, and after a couple weeks of letting it dry, noticed specks of dust/lint, creases and bubbles on multiple windows. Maybe I just got unlucky that day because the workmanship was not up to par. I called and was asked to bring the car back for them to look at and potentially redo some of the windows. Upon closer inspection, the manager Jasmine insisted that all of the windows be redone. I had to wait about 2 hours which was a little inconvenient, but I was very satisfied with the quality and workmanship of the redo. Overall, I would definitely recommend ProTint and will be coming back to do the front windshield.
