COVID-19 Edition Review When I got a new car in December 2020, I knew that I wanted to get my windows tinted so I sent out a bunch of quotes to other places on Yelp and Jeff responded in a timely manner. He gave me the best quote out of other places for the 3M tints, which I wanted to get because I heard that was the best kind. Due to various things at that time, my appointment time was pushed back and I didn't get to tint my car until like 2 weeks into January. I got the Solar Guard one and patiently described each kind they had and let me take my time deciding which % I wanted. The girl who worked there was super nice and easy to talk to when helping me decide which tints was best for my car and %. She originally told me it was going to take about 2.5 hours - 3 hours and I could wait in the waiting room there but it was done within like 1.5-2 hours! The only thing that kinda bothered me was that there were water splatters everywhere on the side of my car and front windshield but I can easily cleaned off so don't fret if you have the same problem! I absolutely love the end results of my tints and would 100% suggest going here. Good price for the quality of work you get. read more

I appreciated Jeff (the owner) taking the time to figure out the right tint to match the different shades of color in the glass in my Rav4. When I brought it in initially, they forgot to re-install a piece of the trim on the door. That was not good, but they fixed it when I brought it back. The five stars is really for the boss, Jeff, and his customer service. read more

Got window tinting for my 23 model y. I wanted xpel and 3m, which they carry both. not many places offer the variety of choices and also placement selection. the end product was fantastic along with the staff. Got it all done in a day. They also offer ceramic coating using xpel product. I will be returning later to get that work done by them as well. Price competitively. read more

I have been coming to Pro-Tint for a little over 10 years now. Their tint installation service speaks for itself. I have never had to return a vehicle for any tint related issues. The reason why is because they use high quality tint from trusted and well reputable manufacturers. They take the time to explain the different grades of tint as well as the pro and cons of each. They have an expert eye with matching what tint would look best for your vehicle. I strongly recommend anyone who is looking for quality work at an affordable price. In addition to the tint services I have had their car audio engineer Jose work on many of my vehicles and projects such as high end audio, solar panels, additional batteries, car alarm systems and accessories. Jose is very knowledgeable and never tries to upsell you. Will be posting pictures soon. read more

Jeff and his crew are always doing the utmost best when it comes to their professional expertise and installations! I recently visited after 4 years, they previously installed tints on my previous vehicle. However, this visitation I had them install a dash cam on my new vehicle and I'm very pleased with Jose's work! He helped answer any questions I had and how to set up my dash + all the settings and meanings behind it. Jeff greeted me with a warm smile when I saw him and is still as kind as ever. I appreciate this team that they have and the work that they offer! Thank you guys! read more

Affordable, fast, and professional. Literally stopped by in the afternoon to get a quote, was able to be scheduled after lunch, dropped off my car, came back 2 hours later and it was finished. Now my car is cool for the summer and my skin is more protected from the sun. read more

Great customer services! I came in two days before the New Year's Eve. She was able to schedule me for the tinting appointment on the 31st of December. I was given the best and honest advice on what got the best on my car. It turned out great. It's been raining for days, the film came out. I brought the car there. They just fixed it in 30 min with no question asked. read more

Looking for a place that provides excellent customer service and cares about the quality of work delivered? This is the place for you! ::Experience:: I went to another stereo shop that did not do a great job of installing a car alarm and a head unit. Before coming here, I went to three other places that were not able to help me and gave different solutions. Before I gave up, I found this place on Yelp. What did I need? An antenna. Doesn't sound complicated right? But it ended up to be. Fortunately, Jeff, Jim, Jose, and Angel were able to help and most important they were honest. The messy job that another stereo place did, they cleaned up. I finally got my antenna!! Yay! I bought a car alarm, but the other stereo place did not install the new horn that came with it. Pro Tint installed it for me, and now I have a new horn to match my new alarm. They also placed my mic in a better and ideal location, so when I make phone calls, it will be crystal clear with less background noise. My story doesn't end here... I was told all my speakers were working, but they were not. Pro Tint reported that my front speakers were not working so they fixed it. The messy wires under the passenger seat done, Pro Tint organized it. They also brought to my attention that the car alarm that I bought was no longer sold. I got an old version. Boy, that was a big disappointment. I did not know that! ::Customer Service:: -Jeff: Cares about the quality of work his staff deliveries. He is also very knowledgeable in his business. Jeff took the time to talk to each other customers. -Angel: Friendly and polite -Jim: Despite the rush traffic of so many customers waiting and the phone ringing, he was always smiling and so friendly. Jim took the time to talk to each customer, and he didn't rush. ::Customer Service:: The staff was attentive, honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. ::Tip:: Call for an appointment. ::M's Notes:: -Parking lot -Nice waiting area -Vending machine read more

This is my third time coming to Pro Tint. Jeff, who is the manager will quote you accurately and fast through via Yelp. He will also list the different types of tint that he has to offer. I was able to get my 2021 Honda Accord and my stepdad's 2019 Lexus tinted very fast! I also appreciate Jasmine who works the front for her friendly, funny and one of the best customer service ever. To my suprise that when I came back, she even remembered me. She will be so patient and will help you with any questions you will have because I most definitely had a couple of questions. Thanks Jeff and Jasmine!! P.S Jeff, don't ever let Jasmine quit! read more

Have been waiting for my new Thinkware dash cam to arrive, the store called immediately when they received the product to schedule an appointment for me. Had it installed last Saturday. The installation was done timely and neatly. Jeff, the owner, and his staff helped me to download the app, connected to wi-fi, and walked me through the function of each setting. The installer has already set them up at standard settings but now I know how to adjust them if and when I feel needed. Jeff also gave me a few useful tips on how to utilize the buttons on the system. It's a very nice product. I had all my cars tinted here over the years for their service and quality of work have always been consistent. Having a peace of mind knowing what to expect is what makes me a repeat customer. Definitely recommend! read more

They did a great job and went beyond the expectations to make sure we had great experience. I had a issue with Groupon actually, and though it wasn't their fault and I should have settled it with Groupon.com, strictly, they took it upon themselves to mediate the situation on their end. read more

Came here last year to get my new car tinted. Before choosing to use this shop for my tint job, I've called around a few places and this place has the best price for the particular tint film that I wanted and plus I've had previous good experience with this shop years ago, so I've decided to use this shop again for this new tint job. Unfortunately I wished I had went else this time. It appears a lot has changed since the last time I was here. The workmanship has really gone down hill. The owner (a great guy) is no longer there full time to do quality assurance before delivering the completed job and so they might not put detail into their work anymore. My service writer was very hesitant to fix the problem when I brought it up to her attention. But eventually we were able to settle for some resolutions. After returning to the shop multiple times to have the problems fixed and seen multiple installers working on different panels at different times. Based on my observations, one particular installer was the culprit for the poor workmanship and I know he's been working at the shop for a long time so should have plenty of experiences. read more

I am very happy i found PROTINT in yelp. Jeff the owner is very knowledgeable with his business. He will advice what's best to be done. They did a wonderful job at my house. My windows looks so good and have a perfect privacy. The price is so reasonable and Jeff explained what materials they're using which is great to people like me who does not know anything when it comes to tint. Shout out also to Andres who is so courteous and did the job very professionally. I strongly recommend PROTINT for your home window tint. read more

These guys do clean, professional, and long-lasting tints with quality products. 10 years ago, they tinted my 2007 WRX, and now recently our new Tesla Model 3. The owner Jeff sent us a detailed quote through Yelp, and clearly explained our film options in person during our appointment. They finished on time with competitive prices. ProTint also upgraded the halogen low and high projector headlights in my WRX to super bright 6000k LEDs. They modernize my car's appearance, and after I adjusted the aim, I now can see farther at night.  Lastly, Jeff also came to our house to give estimates for house window tints that are well priced. If we decide to do that, we'll definitely hire ProTint again. We're super happy with the service and products that ProTint provided - thank you, Jeff & Team! read more

I have been going to Pro Tint Inc. since I had my first car some 25 years ago. I recently found myself back with Jeff and his team at Pro Tint with my latest car. I needed additional tint and a dashcam on the new car. Jeff was there to assist me. He took the time to show to me the latest/ newest tint, and the latest dashcam that is best suited for my car/ requirement. The installation work was completed within a day. No problem/ trouble afterwards. I would highly recommend ProTint to those who value their car and are looking for quality installation work. Talk to Jeff. read more

A little late on this review but I wanted to say thank you to Jeff and team for their awesome work! I usually get my work done at California Tint but this time due to competitive pricing and product quality, decided to give Pro Tint a try due to reviews on yelp. Jeff and his team were super nice and were able to get things done despite all that is going on. I was in and out of the shop in no time. I got the Solar Vortex IR 25 and so far, even though it hasn't been that hot, can honestly feel such a difference having this tint thus far. Thank you Pro Tint for being so accommodating during these times! read more

I followed all the aftercare instructions and tint looks great! They finished the back 6 windows in a little under 2 hours and the windshield in the same amount of time on a different day. Went with the XenithIR 75, 33, and 25. They have many tint options and they're pretty friendly too. I found ProTint via Yelp and decided to go with them for tinting all 4 windows and the rear windshield. Jeff gave me a detailed quote with competitive prices on all of their films, and I decided to go with the Xpel Prime XR Plus. I took the car in as one of the last customers on a Saturday, and after a couple weeks of letting it dry, noticed specks of dust/lint, creases and bubbles on multiple windows. Maybe I just got unlucky that day because the workmanship was not up to par. I called and was asked to bring the car back for them to look at and potentially redo some of the windows. Upon closer inspection, the manager Jasmine insisted that all of the windows be redone. I had to wait about 2 hours which was a little inconvenient, but I was very satisfied with the quality and workmanship of the redo. Overall, I would definitely recommend ProTint and will be coming back to do the front windshield. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and they will make sure that the customer is satisfied! read more

I got my car windows tinted here with Jeff and his team about two months ago. I've been waiting and watching how the quality of the tint turned out before giving this review. I reached out to Jeff through Yelp as I was comparing prices. Jeff was quick to response and gave helpful tips along the way to help me eventually settle on the right material and tint levels for the various windows on my car. Making an appointment is a must because the shop gets busy and they generally cannot take walk-ins. I worked with Jasmine on the day of my appointment. She was also very knowledgeable and just as friendly. The whole process took about 2-3 hours. They staff took the time to smooth out all the air bubbles and they even upgraded my windshield tint material for free. I followed their instructions to the dot: not washing the car for 2 days, not rolling down the windows for 2 weeks, waiting 2 weeks to put my dash cam back on. Two months in, the tint has kept the car much cooler during the day and just makes the car look so much nicer. I would highly recommend Jeff and his team! read more

I wanted to get my windows tinted ASAP and Jeff responded quickly, got me setup to come in, and within an hour I had my windows tinted perfectly. All for a great price. I'd definitely recommend to them friends. Thanks! read more

Just took my Tesla Model 3 in today, came out looking great! This is not an easy car to tint with its massive glass panels, but it looks flawless and at a great price for nano ceramic tint all around. Most importantly they used a single sheet for the extremely large rear window, so it looks super clean from outside and inside. There are a lot of tint shops in the San Gabriel Valley, but I was referred to this one by a friend, and I'm glad I took the advice. read more

The customer service here was the best! The employees here actually cared about my day haha. I brought in my Tesla Model 3 to get my front windshield, side windows, and back windshield tinted. After several days of getting my windows tinted, I am pretty satisfied with the outcome and how much heat that's been rejected from this summer heatwave. So I can definitely feel the difference. I got the 3M Crystalline 70 on the front windshield and 40 all around. The total I paid about was probably around $1000, but if you pay in cash, you can pay less the amount to avoid some tax fees! They offer a 1 year warranty, so keep that in your car in case anything happens~ Crystalline 40 does look really dark when it's not under the sun, especially since I got them on the front side windows too... so hopefully it's okay for me to be safe away from the cops hahah read more

I'm usually a skeptic and rarely do online reviews. As far as I can remember, this might be my first Yelp review ever. But I tried this place out because it's the one nearest my house and they had a lot of good reviews. The counter person Kayla was very nice & welcoming. Jeff the owner, was the same. I had so many questions about the stuff I wanted done, and you can tell Jeff was happy to answer all of them. Even after my 100th question probably... Not only did he answer my questions, but he explained the WHYs of his answers. You can tell he really wants what's best for the customers. Kayla and Jeff got me to be a customer, on the spot! Jose who worked on my car was fast AND professional. Did great work. So now, I already have two more appointments to have something done in the future. Excellent customer service from everyone. Highly recommend. THANK YOU, JEFF, KAYLA, and JOSE! read more

Amazing service. Installation went an hour beyond the quoted time, but overall great installation.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I spent 4 months researching and asking different shops all around LA and SGV area for their rates and quality of tints they use. Jeff (the owner of Pro Tint) was actually the first person I reached out inquiring about their service. During our first conversation, he was kind enough to answer in detail all the questions I had, including pricing. After connecting with him, I told him I'll reach back out if I decide to go through with his service. That interaction happened around July and after connecting with other businesses, I decided to visit Pro Tint finally in-person last month. I mentioned to him how I was fully aware of price ranges and even different qualities of tint and the pros and cons of using different types. He responded with grace and transparency and was delighted that I had returned, even after months of looking around. To cut it short -- I chose the crystalline 3m on my Tesla M3P's windshield and sunroof, and then the xenith on all rear windows. Jeff's team made my car look and feel like it was a completely different new car and I have no regrets in choosing his shop over anyone else's. If anyone is looking for an honest business and consistency in their quality of work, I would highly recommend to stop looking elsewhere and visit Pro Tint asap. Have a conversation with Jeff and decide for yourself if this review lives up to it! read more

I recently purchased a new Lexus and I wanted to get my windows tinted. After searching Yelp for the best shop for window tint, I decided on Pro Tint . Their reviews were amazing and it's close to where I live. Jeff was very helpful with explaining the different tints that were available. We decided on the vortex. The price was not bad and the workmanship was great. We did notice a little sCratch on the tint afterward and they asked me to bring it back to get it fixed right away. Overall super satisfied with the service and my car looks bomb. I will be back later on to get my windshield done too. Thank you Pro Tint. read more

I wanted to tint my Model Y for heat rejection, while sticking to the stock look as much as possible. Of all the quotes I got, Pro Tint was the most competitive on pricing and were the closest to me as well. They carried XPEL XR Plus which is a high quality tint. So far it's done a good job during the recent heat waves. Only negative is they didn't call me when the car was ready. read more

I've been going here for the last 20 years in the span of owning 4 different cars. The service is good. The price is reasonable. The owner, Jeff (I think, sorry I am not very good with names) was very helpful in recommending the right type of film for my new car. This was my most recent experience. A week later there were some bubbles in the film and he said I could bring it back and they would fix it for free if the problem persisted after 1 week. For me the bubbles went away like he said they would. I highly recommend this place! read more

ProTint did a great job on my car. Requested a quote online and got it back quickly. Scheduled service and delivery time were as expected. They offer great prices as well, was the best price of the places that I called around to for the same film (XPEL). Would go back and would recommend to others. It can take a couple weeks for any bubbles to come so be patient. Only suggestion is to throw some blue tape on the window buttons so we don't accidently roll them down. read more

I looked online and found this business. It was the first on the list and near my home. They advertise that they service cars, homes, any businesses etc.. Do I called for a quote for a bedroom window tint at my home. I was told " We don't do residential". So why do you advertise that you do? Strange. read more

Pro-Tint is local and decided to give them business because they know what they're doing. If you live in SoCal, tinted windows are a must. The nonstop heat we receive each year is ridiculous and if your car has leather seats, tinted windows will prolong the life of those seats from harmful UV rays. Unlike some other businesses are first come first serve, they accept appointments and will give you a reasonable time frame. One caveat that I should mention is that when I took the two cars to get windows tinted during Covid and the employees here had their masks off or wearing them on their chins while installing tint on cars. When entering the business, the lady at the front desk (Jasmine) didn't wear hers either until someone (me) walked into the building. Even before vaccines were offered, I saw it on both occasions (dropping off and picking up) that masks were not worn properly, either not wearing it on wearing it on their chins. I assume they don't want to wear it or hinders them while working on the cars but I honestly believe the owner should make it a priority that his/her employees are safe and following protocols. All I can do is make note of everything since it's their decision not to do it. If you plan on getting your tint here, I do recommend sanitizing everything in your car just to be safe. Also, when I picked up my Subaru and Toyota, there was a small piece of a blue towel was was stuck by the front windshield and the windshield pillar. There was also trash that was left behind by the passenger door. I don't mind throwing it away but I wished they looked carefully that nothing was left. If they give you a pickup window time of 2-3 hours, it may be longer. I dropped off my car at 12:15 for a 12:30 appointment, was given a 3-3:30 pickup time. Jasmine called me at 5:00 asking if anyone called me to pick it up, which no one did. They she told me that it's ready for pickup. So there are small things that irked me, which is why I gave this place 3 stars. However, this business still did what they're known for and I'm thankful it turned out great. I just recommend some improvements internally. To give you an idea of how much you might pay, when I first brought my Subaru Outback here May 2020, I got my front windshield tint (3M Crystalline) for $250. Couple months later, I had to remove it because Subaru of America needed me to remove it in order to fix an issue with my vehicle. I came back couple days ago to get the same exact tint installed on my front windshield, yet they charged me $329 (including tax). I have no idea why the price increased for the past 11 months for the same windshield tint. The rest of my windows for my Subaru was $733 (including tax) for 3M Color Stable. For the Prius Prime, It was $318 for all windows, using 3M Color Stable. read more

I came here this past Saturday to get my tints done on my vehicle. The week prior I couldn't decide on a tint color so Gabby asked one of the guys to put a tint sample on my car so I can get a feel of the shades. I had lasik surgery a couple years back and I'm unable to go too dark otherwise it hinders my vision at night. I got to the shop on Saturday and still couldn't decide on the film. Jeff was super patient and informative and made a few suggestions on which films he'd recommend. Originally I was going to get the solargard tints on all of my windows but I ended up upgrading my front ones to the 3M crystalline. Jeff did a walkthrough on my car before I left and said that was good to go but I got a call 5 minutes later asking if I can come back. I thought that they weren't able to work on my car for some reason but it was due to some minor dings and scratches on my car. Jasmine has keen eyes she wanted to show me the minor damages on my car before they work on the tint. My car is only a couple months old but I was surprised to see the minor cosmetic damages already! Overall, my experience was great. I like the fact that they have lifetime warranty on their tints against bubbling, peeling, and change in color (I believe). Will definitely be back because I'm contemplating getting my front windshield done so I can be protected from the heat. read more

This place does excellent tint jobs at pretty competitive rates. I've brought multiple cars here over the years. Best part is, you can make an appointment for your tint/alarm, you don't have to deal with walk-in lines/wait. I've got my Lexus' windshield tinted and exterior of the glass protected with Clearplex. They also tinted my Priuses and I couldn't be any happier. I'll definitely be coming back here in the years to come. I can't believe I had to bring the car back for about eight times to get the door fixed, why did I put up with this. The workers there began to give me an attitude after my forth visit because the door continues to failed. Is this my fault for not getting it right? Or maybe they felt they charged too little for such a mess? I just got tired after the eighth time and went to a different shop to have it fixed. This place is nothing but a disappointment. read more
