Doesn't sound complicated right? But it ended up to be. Fortunately, Jeff, Jim, Jose, and Angel were able to help and most important they were honest. The messy job that another stereo place did, they cleaned up. I finally got my antenna!! Yay! I bought a car alarm, but the other stereo place did not install the new horn that came with it. Pro Tint installed it for me, and now I have a new horn to match my new alarm. They also placed my mic in a better and ideal location, so when I make phone calls, it will be crystal clear with less background noise. My story doesn't end here... I was told all my speakers were working, but they were not. Pro Tint reported that my front speakers were not working so they fixed it. The messy wires under the passenger seat done, Pro Tint organized it. They also brought to my attention that the car alarm that I bought was no longer sold. I got an old version. I found ProTint via Yelp and decided to go with them for tinting all 4 windows and the rear windshield. Jeff gave me a detailed quote with competitive prices on all of their films, and I decided to go with the Xpel Prime XR Plus. I took the car in as one of the last customers on a Saturday, and after a couple weeks of letting it dry, noticed specks of dust/lint, creases and bubbles on multiple windows. Maybe I just got unlucky that day because the workmanship was not up to par. I called and was asked to bring the car back for them to look at and potentially redo some of the windows. Upon closer inspection, the manager Jasmine insisted that all of the windows be redone. I had to wait about 2 hours which was a little inconvenient, but I was very satisfied with the quality and workmanship of the redo. Overall, I would definitely recommend ProTint and will be coming back to do the front windshield. This is my third time coming to Pro Tint. Jeff, who is the manager will quote you accurately and fast through via Yelp. He will also list the different types of tint that he has to offer. I was able to get my 2021 Honda Accord and my stepdad's 2019 Lexus tinted very fast! I also appreciate Jasmine who works the front for her friendly, funny and one of the best customer service ever. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I spent 4 months researching and asking different shops all around LA and SGV area for their rates and quality of tints they use. Jeff (the owner of Pro Tint) was actually the first person I reached out inquiring about their service. After connecting with him, I told him I'll reach back out if I decide to go through with his service. I got my car windows tinted here with Jeff and his team about two months ago. I've been waiting and watching how the quality of the tint turned out before giving this review. I reached out to Jeff through Yelp as I was comparing prices. Jeff was quick to response and gave helpful tips along the way to help me eventually settle on the right material and tint levels for the various windows on my car. Making an appointment is a must because the shop gets busy and they generally cannot take walk-ins. I worked with Jasmine on the day of my appointment. She was also very knowledgeable and just as friendly. The whole process took about 2-3 hours. They staff took the time to smooth out all the air bubbles and they even upgraded my windshield tint material for free. I followed their instructions to the dot: not washing the car for 2 days, not rolling down the windows for 2 weeks, waiting 2 weeks to put my dash cam back on. Just took my Tesla Model 3 in today, came out looking great! This is not an easy car to tint with its massive glass panels, but it looks flawless and at a great price for nano ceramic tint all around. Most importantly they used a single sheet for the extremely large rear window, so it looks super clean from outside and inside. There are a lot of tint shops in the San Gabriel Valley, but I was referred to this one by a friend, and I'm glad I took the advice. read more

After several days of getting my windows tinted, I am pretty satisfied with the outcome and how much heat that's been rejected from this summer heatwave. So I can definitely feel the difference. I got the 3M Crystalline 70 on the front windshield and 40 all around. The total I paid about was probably around $1000, but if you pay in cash, you can pay less the amount to avoid some tax fees! They offer a 1 year warranty, so keep that in your car in case anything happens~ Crystalline 40 does look really dark when it's not under the sun, especially since I got them on the front side windows too... so hopefully it's okay for me to be safe away from the cops hahah read more

The workers there began to give me an attitude after my forth visit because the door continues to failed. Is this my fault for not getting it right? I looked online and found this business. It was the first on the list and near my home. They advertise that they service cars, homes, any businesses etc.. Do I called for a quote for a bedroom window tint at my home. I was told " We don't do residential". So why do you advertise that you do? Strange. read more

Pro-Tint is local and decided to give them business because they know what they're doing. If you live in SoCal, tinted windows are a must. The nonstop heat we receive each year is ridiculous and if your car has leather seats, tinted windows will prolong the life of those seats from harmful UV rays. Unlike some other businesses are first come first serve, they accept appointments and will give you a reasonable time frame. One caveat that I should mention is that when I took the two cars to get windows tinted during Covid and the employees here had their masks off or wearing them on their chins while installing tint on cars. When entering the business, the lady at the front desk (Jasmine) didn't wear hers either until someone (me) walked into the building. Even before vaccines were offered, I saw it on both occasions (dropping off and picking up) that masks were not worn properly, either not wearing it on wearing it on their chins. I assume they don't want to wear it or hinders them while working on the cars but I honestly believe the owner should make it a priority that his/her employees are safe and following protocols. All I can do is make note of everything since it's their decision not to do it. If you plan on getting your tint here, I do recommend sanitizing everything in your car just to be safe. Also, when I picked up my Subaru and Toyota, there was a small piece of a blue towel was was stuck by the front windshield and the windshield pillar. There was also trash that was left behind by the passenger door. I don't mind throwing it away but I wished they looked carefully that nothing was left. If they give you a pickup window time of 2-3 hours, it may be longer. I dropped off my car at 12:15 for a 12:30 appointment, was given a 3-3:30 pickup time. Jasmine called me at 5:00 asking if anyone called me to pick it up, which no one did. They she told me that it's ready for pickup. So there are small things that irked me, which is why I gave this place 3 stars. However, this business still did what they're known for and I'm thankful it turned out great. I just recommend some improvements internally. To give you an idea of how much you might pay, when I first brought my Subaru Outback here May 2020, I got my front windshield tint (3M Crystalline) for $250. Couple months later, I had to remove it because Subaru of America needed me to remove it in order to fix an issue with my vehicle. I came back couple days ago to get the same exact tint installed on my front windshield, yet they charged me $329 (including tax). I have no idea why the price increased for the past 11 months for the same windshield tint. The rest of my windows for my Subaru was $733 (including tax) for 3M Color Stable. For the Prius Prime, It was $318 for all windows, using 3M Color Stable. read more

I came here this past Saturday to get my tints done on my vehicle. The week prior I couldn't decide on a tint color so Gabby asked one of the guys to put a tint sample on my car so I can get a feel of the shades. I had lasik surgery a couple years back and I'm unable to go too dark otherwise it hinders my vision at night. I got to the shop on Saturday and still couldn't decide on the film. Jeff was super patient and informative and made a few suggestions on which films he'd recommend. Originally I was going to get the solargard tints on all of my windows but I ended up upgrading my front ones to the 3M crystalline. Jeff did a walkthrough on my car before I left and said that was good to go but I got a call 5 minutes later asking if I can come back. I thought that they weren't able to work on my car for some reason but it was due to some minor dings and scratches on my car. Jasmine has keen eyes she wanted to show me the minor damages on my car before they work on the tint. My car is only a couple months old but I was surprised to see the minor cosmetic damages already! Overall, my experience was great. I like the fact that they have lifetime warranty on their tints against bubbling, peeling, and change in color (I believe). Will definitely be back because I'm contemplating getting my front windshield done so I can be protected from the heat. read more

I initially reached out on Yelp to inquire about installing a new Pioneer headunit w/ Apple CarPlay and a reverse/backup camera into my wife's 2010 Honda CR-V. Jeff responded promptly and professionally to my inquiry with a detailed breakdown of the cost and time it would take to perform the job. I responded and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. I came by with the car the next morning and I spoke with the installer (Jose) prior to him working on my car. We went through everything thoroughly so that he had a good understanding of what work was to be done on the car. Jeff wasn't physically there that day, but he texted and called me to make sure that I was well taken car of! I left the car there and went to work. Later, about 5 hours later, I got a call from the shop letting me know that the work on the car had been completed! I waited till after work, and then I went to pick up my car. My new pioneer headunit (MVH-1400NEX) was installed perfectly with the parts that I had supplied him (dash trim kit, steering wheel interface adapter, antenna harness, etc). The reverse/backup camera was also installed perfectly with the new headunit. I was sold a security system, is not functioning 100% of the time, sometimes it doesn't unluck. About 2 months ago bought a new horn from pro tint had it installed, stopped working after pressing it once. Made an appointment took time from work to get it fixed, someone fotgot to actually input the appointment, i had to reschedule, got fix and it only worked once. I called the usual spots in the general area and Gabby from Pro-Tint quoted me a competitive price of $70, which was cheaper than the other shops. She said she would take me in that afternoon, which was perfect. The car and the tint was a surprise for my daughter's birthday gift.
