I initially reached out on Yelp to inquire about installing a new Pioneer headunit w/ Apple CarPlay and a reverse/backup camera into my wife's 2010 Honda CR-V. Jeff responded promptly and professionally to my inquiry with a detailed breakdown of the cost and time it would take to perform the job. I responded and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. I came by with the car the next morning and I spoke with the installer (Jose) prior to him working on my car. We went through everything thoroughly so that he had a good understanding of what work was to be done on the car. Jeff wasn't physically there that day, but he texted and called me to make sure that I was well taken car of! I left the car there and went to work. Later, about 5 hours later, I got a call from the shop letting me know that the work on the car had been completed! I waited till after work, and then I went to pick up my car. My new pioneer headunit (MVH-1400NEX) was installed perfectly with the parts that I had supplied him (dash trim kit, steering wheel interface adapter, antenna harness, etc). The reverse/backup camera was also installed perfectly with the new headunit. I was impressed that everything looked super clean and OEM! tl;dr - Super professional shop that performs high quality work 10/10 would come here to get another headunit installed again! read more

I needed to tint my daughter's two front door windows and I was looking for a good deal on just regular tint. Nothing too crazy or expensive. I called the usual spots in the general area and Gabby from Pro-Tint quoted me a competitive price of $70, which was cheaper than the other shops. She said she would take me in that afternoon, which was perfect. The car and the tint was a surprise for my daughter's birthday gift. When I arrived, I was greeted by Jeff (GM) and I explained to him about the deal I was quoted and he was going to honor it, but he showed a tint for a little bit more but offered heat rejection. He wasn't pushy, but he did make for a compelling argument and a deal I couldn't pass up. So I upgraded. Didn't take long and his staff was working on it in no time. While I was waiting, I noticed he had an audio set-up such as Alpine and back-up camera systems. Something I wanted to add to my 2006 Toy Tundra. I discussed what I was looking for, such as upgrading my head unit and adding a rear camera unit. He didn't hesitate and was very knowledgeable. I can tell that he knows his stuff. He explained the different price points and needed accessories and also offered some price cutting tips if price was a factor. As a point of reference, I went to Best Buy's car audio section and they pointed out a few stuff and that was about it. I didn't feel valued and didn't feel they really knew what I wanted or needed. Jeff took the time and listened and I didn't feel rushed at all. Jeff was very personable. I feel I can come in talk the shop and have confidence in they're service whether it's involves window tinting, PPF or car audio. He's earned a customer for life. read more

These people do such an amazing job, I got my windows tinted on my brand new VW Passat and it just looks amazing and adds such a nice touch to the car! I love how they do a demonstration and help you each step of the way to make sure your getting the tint of your preference. I also love the customer experience and support here. I brought my car here on a rainy day a couple weeks back, the lady who was working was so nice! I dropped the car off and took Uber to the nearby mall, she checked in with me each hour to make sure I had a time frame and regular updates on my car! Love this place! They didn't remove all the 3M logos like I asked. Really disappointed that I have to go back to the shop and wait again because the employees don't pay attention to details -- and that's assuming they will fix it. I'm being fair and knocking off 2 stars for the huge inconvenience. I will be providing an update to this review when appropriate. UPDATE: I appreciate the manager responding to my review and kindly explaining why my issue occurred. That said, it would have been useful to know this at the shop when I was told all 3M logos would be removed for me (key word: all). I assumed that the person applying the tint would know where the edge of the tint (and the 3M logo) would land before applying, but that's besides the point. Bottom line: let me know that I might still expect to find some remaining/missed logos after the fact and how I might go about removing it -- none of this is mentioned on back of the the invoice because I double checked. Seriously, these guys are supposed to be the experts, so they should do a better job of informing the customer. No excuses, period. read more

I requested a quote from Pro Tint through yelp and received a very detailed quote based off the different tint they have available from Jasmine. Upon arriving, they were really quick with their service. Jeff was super hands on with his team in applying my tint to my car. This review is about the experience I had on 1/18/24 regarding a warranty claim with solargard window film, and my experience with pro tint on how they dealt with the claim. The film was originally installed in 2018 by another tint shop in the area, and in 2023 the film started to fail, it started showing signs of adhesive failure, pretty much bubbled tint, that original shop no longer works with solargard window film, therefore I could no longer go through them for warranty work. On 12/20/23 i contacted and filed a claim with the solargard warranty administrator, they recommended pro tint for the rear removal of old film and installation of new film on my 2018 Honda Accord, the rear glass with defroster lines. On 1/16/24 pro tint gives me a call to set up the appointment for 1/18/24 at 9:30. I arrived on 1/18/24 around 9:30 in the morning, the vibe that I got off the bat was that pro tint didn't want to deal with the removal after all, the manager jasmine started saying that the removal isn't guaranteed, that there was a good chance the installers were going to take a scraper with a razor blade in order to remove the leftover adhesive and damage the defroster lines, that there was a good chance they were not going to successfully clean between the brake light and glass, jasmine recommended I should go to dr auto glass in Arcadia so they can replace the glass with a new one, eliminating the need for film removal on my current glass. Another option was to help pro tint by removing the brake light and seats to make the removal of the old window film and cleanup easier for them, pro tint also mentioned that they could do the removal of the brake light and seats for a $300 labor fee, that they limit their window film removal labor time to three hrs, so if it can't be completed in that time frame, the labor stops. Jasmine even had one of the installers pull a piece of film from the top corner to determine if this was going to be a simple removal, yet they didn't even steam that top corner piece, they simply yanked it off cold and dry, now I was left with my window film looking even worse than it did. In my experience pro tint indirectly told me that they didn't want to bother with the removal by explaining all of these worst case scenarios and recommendations in person on window film removal. At the end of our conversation I simply felt discouraged to come back to pro tint for the removal and installation of solargard galaxie film under warranty, the conversation that I had with jasmine didn't give me peace of mind, but plenty of uncertainty. The fact that pro tint recommended a rear glass replacement and removal of rear seats and brake light on a 2018 Honda Accord for window film removal doesn't sound like something anyone would want to deal with or pay for, i even asked a few other tint shops in the area if that's really necessary? They all said no, especially on a 2018 Honda Accord, the removal of window film on that rear glass is easier than that. I ended up going back to my original shop who now works with suntek window film, and they gladly took on the removal of the original film, they used the trash bag method, they placed a trash bag on the inside of the glass with a solution of their choice in order to heat and steam the film with the heat from the sun, after a good half hour in direct sunlight with the windows closed, the film was ready for removal, the film came off in one piece, they only had to do a light cleanup afterwards with a blue scotch brite pad, and they were able to clean between the brake light and glass by using the bulldozer long reach tool with the blue scotch brite pad attached, no razor blades involved, no damage to the defroster lines, minimal adhesive clean up. They charged me a fair price for removal and installation since I was a returning customer, and understood my problem, they took on the job with ease, it didn't turn out to be the nightmare of a removal like pro tint predicted it was going to be, no need for the removal of the brake light and seats, no need for razor blades in order to remove any leftover adhesive ruining defroster lines, they never recommended replacing the rear glass with a new one, they never predicted hours and hours of labor, totally different vibe when comparing pro tint and my original shop. For those that are reading this, and run into a similar vibe from pro tint regarding window film removal on the rear glass with defroster lines, just know that it's happened before. Overall my recommendation is to not come to pro tint for the rear removal of window film attached to defroster lines, find a shop that knows and explains the proper methods for removal, and one that sounds confident about doing the removal, one that isn't going to recommend you spend hundreds of dollars on new glass and the removal of rear seats and brake lights. read more

State of the art! I highly recommend! Recently came to this place to have my windows tinted on my daily Audi. Tint was done the same day and took about 3 hours for a total of 5 windows. Needless to say, they did an impeachable job! The tint came out very nice. They have great 3M crystalline and color stable tint and also 75% of their tints are backed by lifetime warranty, so at least that gives you peace of mind! Jeff and his team, Jasmine & Gabby, were very kind and receptive - great customer service and lots of help! The last place (a shop in Alhambra) I went to for my last car did a great job at putting on the tint but the quality they used was terrible and cheap!!! After 3 years the film started to become distorted and bubbly... Glad I left them and found Pro Tint. read more

Very Poor experience and totally a waste of money! Brought my BMW X1 to replace the broken spring due to the light of "secure vehicle with parking brake. This job requires Jose to open the center console to replace a small spring under gear selector. Pls refer to link for details. After the job Jose said, the broken spring has been replaced and the light is still on. But in addition, he screwed up the air bag module which caused the airbag light on with a fault code. I have to deal 1 more service light after he worked on the car. https://youtu.be/NMhjjwtcoyw He totally denied that he had done anything wrong. I finally bought the car to another shop spending another $1100 to replace the airbag module to reset the airbag light and the same shop helped me to replaced the spring properly to reset the light. ProTint broke my car and caused me over a thousand dollar to fix a small problem. They are not professional enough and not recommended for this kind of service! read more

The team here at pro tint did a great job on my f350. They gave me a time frame and stuck to it and I was very happy with there prices.

There are tons of car tint places around this area. I've been to my fair share and I've gone to the low price and high price places. I found Pro Tint to be right in the middle, which is perfect. They responded really quick with a quote, I'm sure they receive tons of quotes a day and they explained the different types of film. The prices were competitive and much cheaper than some of the surrounding areas shops. I would make an appointment and then you'll be in an out within 2-3 hours. I recently bought a new Mazda and since it had been several years since I've gotten tints, I messaged a few businesses to learn about the different options and pricing. Jeff messaged me back quickly and I was impressed with the glowing reviews at Pro Tint, so I gave them a call. I had some quotes from nearby competitors and Jeff was able to work with me on pricing. Their prices were already very reasonable given that they pride themselves on the quality of their work and the materials they use. On the day of, I was greeted right away and just under 3 hours later (I got the windshield done as well), my car was ready to go! Jeff and his wife walked me out to my car to inspect it and it was beautiful! Exactly what I wanted and the quality of the job was top notch. I had some follow up issues with my car (that had nothing at all to do with the quality of Pro Tint's work) that I messaged Jeff about via yelp.
