I'll definitely be a life-long customer. Thanks Jeff! read more

I searched on Yelp for windows tinted and I was impressed with the 5 star average here. I have only great things to say about Jeff and his store- I came to get my windows tinted and he gave me great advice. His services and products are top rate and are sold at a reasonable price. Highly recommended! Thanks also for the great and fast communication! read more

Some of the best tint work and installations I have ever seen. Jeff and his team are super to work with and i will continue to work with him for my real estate, commercial, and car needs because they truly are the best in the LA area. I've been to their competitors and they just don't have the expertise this team does. They are transparent and honest about their recommendations, attentive (even when extremely busy) and do their best to exceed expectations. I've noticed they are also taking extreme precautions for COVID (wearing masks and sanitizing work spaces) and that is truly appreciated. Thanks Jeff and Team. - Jordan read more

I came to ProTint for my white Tesla Model 3 because this location is able to tint the rear window in one piece. Tesla Model 3 has a giant rear window and not all car tinting places are able and willing to tint this difficult window in one piece. ProTint offers multiple films, with the highest grade being the 3M Crystalline film. I got the 3M Color Stable for the darker look (against the white exterior) and the car looks great with it. Jeff has answered all my questions regarding the tint, and I will definitely come back for future cars. read more

I took my Toyota Camry here to tint, and the team was very professional and finished the job within the same day. The next time I drove I already feel the difference and the good quality of the film, I barely feel the heat under and sun without using AC. I would definitely come back in the future if I ever need window tint service. read more

Love the tint but I hate the wait time. They even actually forgot about me. I arrived at 11:30 for my appt and I was told my car was going to be done around 2:30. I hate to bug people so I started getting really concerned around 4pm so I asked if there was an issue. I was waiting in their waiting area the entire time. The lady who helped me had gone to lunch sometime after we last spoke at 2:15 and no one informed her that my car was ready. I don't blame her at all... I blame their system. The people who applied the tint just put my key on the rack next to her desk when she was at lunch and didn't inform anyone. She was really apologetic and helpful but I was so frustrated and upset for having spent so long there. I don't understand the point of having an appointment if they can't work on my car in a timely manner. I would give them a 4-star if their prices were more upfront and displayed somewhere too. read more

I just got a 2011 Honda CR-Z and wanted to replace the obsolete factory navigation system, upgrade the Bluetooth capabilities, and add CarPlay. I saw that of all the options on Crutchfield or Best Buy, none would supposedly fit my car. I knew I needed professionals. To start off with, I sent out a bunch of quote requests to several businesses on Yelp, and Jeff came back with one that was significantly lower than anyone else. He didn't insist I "come in" so he could "take a look at it." He just gave me a price for a solution and stuck to it when I actually brought in the car. I drove all the way from east LA to do the installation! Through conversing with Jeff on Yelp and eventually over the phone and in person, I found him very polite, trustworthy, and fair. When the work got started, he worked with me every step of the way, trying to accommodate my requested timeframe and bending over backwards to get everything to work as we found that indeed my strange car had some real kinks like the websites had warned. Every step of the way, Jeff explained what was going on, what the process was, and how long I could expect for things to take. At the end of it all, I was delighted with the system that met exactly what I wanted, and I even got some better speakers to boot. A few other notes: the front desk staff was very friendly and the workers all seemed very professional. The shop has a nice waiting area with leather couches, complimentary sodas, A/C, etc, WiFi, and plugs so I could work while I waited. And as the reviews indicate, people really like this place and trust Jeff with their cars. While my car was worked on, I saw the shop working with high end Mercedes, Bentleys, etc. Bottom line: I would Jeff and Pro Tint to anyone. read more

I truly appreciate Jeff's multiple attempts to contact me to explain what happened. I've received multiple phone calls, text messages and even messages off Yelp. I can see he truly cares for his clients. I will definitely bring my car in again to have it looked at, once I do find the time out of my busy schedule. Thanks Jeff for being incredibly mellow throughout this whole unfortunate experience! read more

Came in to get steering wheel controller installed for my aftermarket head unit. Drop off was pretty easy especially since I set up my appointment days before. Jeff was pretty good with pricing and scheduled me the day we spoke. The work took less time than what was originally estimated which worked for me. Literally dropped off, went to get breakfast, and was done by the time the check came. read more

I reached out to Pro Tint to get my windows tinted due this heatwave that doesn't seem to want to end. Jeff replied quickly with a very detailed and reasonable price list, he was also able to setup an appointment the next day which was awesome. I dropped my car off for the installation and the young ladies in the showroom were very polite, professional, and friendly. The shop ran into a few delays during my install but Jeff and his staff kept me updated which was very much appreciated. The customer service and install were top notch. I will definitely use this shop in the future. Thanks read more

Got my tint and speaker installation completed at ProTint. They did a great job and I'm happy with their services they provided.

I sent a message to the business and in no time Jeff replied to me with a quote for all their tint films prices. I wish I could have tried to ask for a lower price or had them accommodate for the price I was looking for but I didn't get a chance to talk to Jeff. I ended up getting Solar Guard UP ceramic for 385$. This is a pricy tint film but you can't put a price on quality. Previous day before, I came in and made a down payment for the next day when they start installing the film. I came in at 2:15 when my appointment was at 3. They had told me that they were going to be done by 5:30. My car was finished at 6:30. Understandable since it was pretty busy. The tint quality looks great from inside and out. There's some bubbles on the tint it self but the guy there said it's the moisture. Some Sun light exposure should fix it up. (Hopefully) Although there were some small scratches at my door handle that weren't there but no biggie. I gave this place a 3/5 for now, until the bubbles from the tint disappears. Even though it took awhile I shall review it again for a better rating. (Edited: 4/5, bubbles from tint wrap disappeared and it looks amazing!! Jeff the owner called me up following my review and help clarify and help fixed all my minor details! He really cares about satisfying his customers. I would recommend this place to some friends due to the owner of this store and how sincere he is. ) Side note: For anyone who is inexperienced with windows tinting, don't roll down your windows for 2 days or wash it. There's a fine print when you sign off for it that they didn't mention until I asked. read more

This is probably THE best place to get your car tinted. They can answer any and all questions you have and will not rush you into making a decision. I've been here multiple times to get my side windows and front windshield tinted and also added a front strip. I even recommended my friend here. Need examples or explanations about what brand and level of darkness to use? No problem, they have it there ready for you to test and touch!! One of the things I like about this place is the different brands you can choose from. I believe other tinting places don't even tell you the exact kind of tint they use... Jeff is the owner and he is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable as hell. Maybe, if you tell him Aaron's yelp review convinced you to come here, he might give you a sweet deal! read more

Every rating is good until there's a problem. We brought in the car, picked the film, then they inspect it. Inspection is to check out any damages before they take it in, so no hassle later with customers. There are two scratches on the door frame after the job, then Jeff, the manager, told me that it could of been my fault. I only want my car to come back to me in the original state, but he came and told me how it could never been them, because I didn't get the front windshield tinted, and the employees couldn't have touched it, it's not where they work. And it shouldn't be the guys duty to inspect it, it should be the girl's. Millions of excuses later, I said I wanted to be in the original state which I left it, and that's it. And this is what he told me,"if you think it's our fault then it's our fault, then sure, we can get the paint for you and do it". Great way to do business, blame it on the customer! I don't want the hassle of waiting for the paint (for a week) and it's only used for Uber, then he ask me if I still want it. I said no, then he blames me again for making him go through all the trouble for finding the correct paint. Later they called back, saying he could've handle the situation differently, it's just that he had seen all kinds of scratches, and know what could made them. Well, I think the purpose of the inspection is probably something like this happened before, but to deny it even after inspecting it is just not acceptable. If after all these years of doing business and Jeff doesn't know how to deal with a situation, then he should hire a professional. Friendly sales though. Nice and on point. Suggestion: record the inspection every time. Warning to customers: RECORD the inspection! read more

I came in for a radio, speakers and a USB for the radio and they took so long to get it done. They barely gave me updates on the job. Okay. I am not very generous person as a customer but rather I am on picky side. So when I wanted get my recently purchased camaro tinted, I searched for perfect tint shop for a while. When I buy tint, I am not buying the film but the shop's skills and service. So I tried to look for the tint business with great skill that would lead to flawless tint job and a great customer service that would guarantee my tint purchase. Then I found Pro Tint. I read every reviews on yelp and pay special attention to negative reviews. After reading them, I decided to visit Pro Tint not only because it was hard to even find negative reviews on this business but also I liked the owner's respectful responses to those negative reviews as well as positive reviews. Jeff responded quickly when I first contacted him through yelp and went over tint options, functions, and prices in detail. I chose 3M color stable and I was able to schedule appointment the very next day. Tint was done in a timely manner as he promised and the price was reasonable. Tint also looked great on my car. When I found a tiny imperfection on my front side windows, I immediately contacted him again even though it was very hard to detect it since those front side tint had limited time warranty (Illegal tint). He, again, responded very quickly and scheduled me an appointment without any hassle. After he had inspected my car, he upgraded my limited-time warranty to life-time warranty to resolve my concern. I also happened to notice something rattling inside my car door panels on the day got windows tinted. I was going to take the car to the dealership to have them inspect my car. But Jeff saved me a lot of time by fixing it in few minutes. It came out to be the loosen up clips in the door panel. Now I don't hear the annoying sound at all from the door panel thanks to Pro Tint. I also got my windshield a visor stripe and it looked great. In general, I had a good experience in this shop and I would definitely refer anyone who needs tint to this shop. If you want not only the great tint job but also the great after service, this shop is for you. Staffs are friendly and professional. I noticed few negative reviews. As a person who read all of those reviews and had experience in this shop, I can tell majority of those reviews are caused by miscommunication, misunderstanding of store policy, or immaturity since Jeff I met was very friendly and understanding person. read more
