I contacted ProTint for a quote. I provided them with my vehicle information and they responded back with a reasonable offer. I scheduled a date and time to bring my wife's vehicle in for the tint job. When we were being invoiced, the gentleman (forgot his name) said "oh we need to charge an extra $30 because your Forester has the window 'wings' in the front, the quote we gave you were just for the standard front windows." I asked him "whats the point of requesting me for the make/model during the quote then?" and added that you should honor the original quote. (who the hell would just tint the windows and leave the wings not tinted?) After a short stand off, he offered half off for the price of the wings. I was going to walk out but since we have scheduled and planned our day, I decided to go forward with the install. I honestly feel that this is an unfair business practice. The old 'get them in the door scheme and tack a few more bucks'. I hate to leave a sub-par review for a local business but feel strongly that this feedback would help consumers and the shop itself. I got my car tinted here. I requested quotes from about 5 other places and ProTint had the most reasonable pricing. They were very friendly and gave me advice when I was deciding on the brand of tint. I wanted to go for the 3m brand but they mentioned that the darker tints were a bit hazy for 3m and that the visibility isn't as good, so they recommended a different brand that was actually cheaper in cost. When I went to pick up my car, they even gave me an upgrade because the person putting on my tint was more comfortable with putting on that particular brand. There was no extra charge for the upgrade! Ceramic tinting my whole car (minus the windshield) came out to be $402 with tax and everything. I was paying in cash and only had 100s so she only took $400 from me and said it was fine! I love the customer service and I love that they won't nickel and dime you. I contacted the business to setup an appointment and they were very accommodating and quickly scheduled me in. I went in yesterday at my appointment time and saw they were quite busy with 4 other customers. I was quickly helped and shown the different types of tint and the benefits of certain ones. Originally I was going to go to a tint shop that my coworker recommended me, but I decided I wanted to go somewhere closer to home for me and ended up picking Pro Tint based on their reviews and I'm glad I did. I had my 2021 Accord tinted out with 3M Crystalline on all my windows and the end result was fantastic. Jeff and his team did a professional job on it. I had the pleasure of having Jasmine and Jeff take care of me at Pro Tint. Jasmine was very kind and courteous to me both in person and over the phone and I can see why a lot of reviews on Yelp praise her! She answered all of my questions and took the time to show me how each tint looked visually. She gave me honestly answers and never tried to pressure me into buying more than I needed. I don't even know where to start on Jeff. Jeff is an absolute gem to work with. He went above and beyond to take care of me. As I was inspecting my freshly tinted car in their shop, I notice a scratch on the plastic door panel. I know this came from the car wash I had in the morning so no fault on Pro Tint's end. Remember how I said Jeff went above and beyond? I didn't even ask him to help me buffer out that scratch. He instantly went to find a polish to buffer it out. Mind you this was a little past 6PM and they were well on their way to closing up shop. Their pricing was very competitive and they offer a nice selection of price range depending on how much blockage you want the tint to provide. Easy to get pricing estimate and schedule an install through Yelp. Her car came out looking great so when I upgraded my car the following month I took it here to get tinted as well. Result was top shelf and at first I didn't think I needed to tint since the car came with dark privacy glass, but it wasn't really dark enough so I got the full tint job on all windows and it looks so much nicer now, in addition to blocking out some rays and not being able to see inside as easily. Previous: 2 stars I just bought a new car 2 days ago, immediately looking for a place to tint my window. I was going to go back to Pro Max since my last car was tint there but have been hearing good reviews about Pro Tint and decided to give it a try. I purchased the 3M premium FX 5. The tint was great and good quality but I didn't not expect to be this dark to can't even see my side mirror. I almost hit a pedestrian who was wearing all black but it's also part of my fault. I would suggest they should warn and give more information to the customer when they order the tint. I brought my second Tesla there for a tint. It's quality work, and excellent service! First tint was great. After I crashed my model 3 recently (after 3 years), Jeff even gave me an invoice to try to claim insurance. Then I brought my second model 3 over to tint. I came here because of a bad review that I read!!! The review spoke about dropping off a car and the timeline for the job kept being pushed back...and back...and back. While this was unfortunate for that customer I thought it was a fair review with a key point, THE STORE KEPT IN CONTACT WITH THE CUSTOMER and let them know that it was not going to be done within the initial estimated time. Working on cars, machines, almost anything in life are subject to Murphys law. Removing some tints will come off in a sheet, some will come off in little flakes like sticker on the bottom of some random object bought at Target. What the business does when they encounter a set-back is important to me. Pro Tint owned the problem and kept the customer in the loop of information. BAMN, worth a visit. I made my appointment. Met with Jeff. We examined my vehicle. I was shown examples from a few different films that would get close to matching the factory tint on my other windows. I already had a price quote from using the Yelp "Get a quote" on my phone. I decided, and the guys went to work. I expected a longer wait and anticipated that I would come back later to pick up my car. Nope, sat in the waiting room and within less than an hour my car was ready. (two front windows with two qrtr windows.) The tint job was exactly what I would expect from a long established business. THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU.. if you are getting a warranty on your tint it MEANS NOTHING IF..the business closes a year or two after you buy it. Where are you going to go if the business is closed if you have an issue? I have had all of my vehicles tinted for the last 20years. The tint line for the film is dang near on the edge of the glass with maybe a straight 1/16th of a line. Perfect. read more

I watched them do the tint and the staff was very fast and efficient. They finished in about 1 hour. The tint was done really well! I couldn't find a single bubble and the workmanship was impeccable. Jeff shared his recommendations as we weren't sure which tint level to get for our windows. We added the windshield tint very last minute and given the other appointments already booked that day, it wasn't guaranteed the tint for the windshield would be done.
