There are black scuff marks on the side of my car, they are still there .. yet when I clean it at home, they come off. So may streaks on my windows. Interior, nothing was really done. This place is just bad. They have been for a while. It's a very once-over type of wash where the majority of the works is done by the jets. You rarely receive everything you pay for. I just went and purchased the gold package + having the mats cleaned. Not only was my car barely washed, the tires were not dressed or sheened. And the mat "wash" (which was $11) consisted of a very quick wipe. It's terrible quality for the price and they skip on what you're supposed to get with each package. Also, and this is nitpicking I guess, but they have a sign that says the offer a discount for people who pay cash. They don't. I paid cash and received no discount and the clerk didn't understand what I was trying to say when I pointed that out. They just don't charge you the credit card service fee if you pay cash. That isn't a discount. That's not at all what that means. You're still charged the full price with cash. You're just not charged an additional fee. Again, that IS NOT what a discount is. read more

Terrible quality for the amount that I paid for. I took my car in for a wash after a road trip from LA to Monterey. I know that my car was nasty and covered in bugs, but the quality of the wash was terrible. I pulled up to the entrance wanting to get their Silver grade wash which is around $35. The guy said I needed to get the $150 "The Start" package because the bodily fluid and acids from the bugs on my car could damage the paint. Call me gullible, but I have a rav4 and I know Toyotas have body paint issues. So I trusted the guy and dropped the extra $120 from what I was planning to pay. Cleaning time wasn't an issue, but honestly I'd prefer for the service to have been longer if it meant my car would truly be clean. After the wash, my windows are still foggy from the inside and out, there's leftover bird poop everywhere, and I had to point out multiple spots where the washers clearly missed spots. The guy waxing the car tried playing it off saying they were scratches in the paint, but when I was able to wipe it off with my finger he begrudgingly cleaned up the messes. I had to inspect my car over and over before giving up and driving off. The most irritating thing about this place is the guy telling me me I needed the more expensive package to get rid of the bugs on my car, but they didn't even clean all of the bugs off! This place does not care for the quality of their work and is just hoping some young folks who don't know any better get fear mongered into paying for their exorbitantly priced higher trims in the name of vehicle care. Learn from my mistakes and avoid this place. Update: the business owner commented on my review saying that "the start" package is not an upsell. He is correct in that statement and I changed my review to reflect that. However, the sentiment still stands: the employee told me I needed a higher tier package to get all of the bugs off, and yet there were plenty of bugs still on my car after the wash. If I wasn't in such a rush, I probably would have done this complaint in person. The quality of wash was just not there. I could still see dirt residue on exterior of my car after the wash. The worst part for me was that they didn't fully vacuum or wipe the inside of my car. I own a mobile cart business so it can get dusty and dirty inside the car. There was so much dust and crumbs left and I was so disappointed. They never moved the keys from where I left it so obviously the cup holder wasn't cleaned. Why did I pay to get someone to clean my car if I could do a better job at a drive through carwash? There are other car washes within less than a mile from here. Again I came in and paid the $73 something for this wash. So awful. The vacuum job is awful. I mention to the guy multiple time if my issues and previous ones.Missed a handful of obvious spots to wipe down and clean.For this price you should expect a way better job done. The amount for the higher car washes yet such a basic low quality service. I had a pulled over in a parking lot down the street and I have to finish wiping down a quarter section of the car, which got me really upset. When I asked about a spot on the car after it was finished the guy cleaning (maybe he doesn't understand English?) Just looked away shaking his head as if I was an annoyance. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I will not come back here. I came at a time when it wasn't too busy, but it seems like they didn't fully clean my car. The inside looked the same. I also got a package with an air freshener and they didn't give me one. The outside was okay, the windows weren't fully wiped though. Beyond that, some of the guys were just rude. I saw my car and was waiting for them to call for it when they were done. I waited over an hour. I didn't hear them call for my car, and neither did the other guy in the waiting room. The worker laughed at me and told another worker. For all I knew they still had extra steps to do, and it seems like they might've. If they were nice I would have let it slide and just reminded them to finish their steps at the end. I was very unhappy with the customer service provided by Rolando the manager. At the drive in, Rolando told me that they would not be able to get the sap off my car unless I paid a discounted high end car wash for $100. I told him I was fine with the sap and would just do a regular bronze car wash. Upon receiving my car, they left a lot of bird poop all over the car and when I brought it to Rolando's attention he stated that he told me that the bird poop wouldn't come off. I mentioned that he originally told me only about the sap but Rolando changed his story and told me the bird poop wouldn't be removable either. To prove his point he started wiping at the poop with his towel In which a good amount of it was able to come off with a couple easy brushes. After seeing that the bird poop was easily removable, Rolando repeatedly started telling me that since I bought a regular car wash I get regular service. Rolando also stated that they could not wash it off as it was an extra service not included in a regular car wash that would get charged to the workers, which is why they did not clean it fully. Additionally, they did not remove the leaves and sticks from the windshield wiper section of the car and also didn't vacuum the trunk of the car. In which I tried talking to Ronaldo again to ask if this was included in the regular car wash but after multiple requests to talk to him I was ghosted in person. Ronaldo's attitude and the way he handled this situation was unprofessional and makes me want to take my business elsewhere. Would only recommend this place if you are ok with getting a partially done car wash without paying $100+. read more

WARNING This place says they do not vacuum your back seats without paying an EXTRA $100 I have used their services over the last 3 years without issue, until now. I came in yesterday to wash my car. Their employees finished with my vehicle in a timely manner. I did not expect any issue, and previuosly, they have always stated that if there were issues to just bring the car back in and they would happily help me out without extra charge. When I got back home I realized that they did not vacuum the back seats and trunk. So I brought my vehicle back in today to ask them to just do a quick vacuum. The manager said that they don't vacuum without paying extra. I was just here 2 weeks ago and they did a great job in vaccuming my back seats and trunk with dog hair that time for no extra cost. Alex and the guys that work there are great and super caring. Every time I go in they take care of me and they also offer one of those cards you can stamp to eventually get a free car wash; which is super neat. Every time I go in, I request a wash and vacuum and cleaning of the interior of my vehicle. I have taken over four different cars throughout the years to these guys and I always go back because they are so nice and sweet. Their pricing is definitely reasonable for the area; but lately their quality control has been lacking. It has definitely been a while since one of their workers has done a careless job of cleaning my car, but it's not a new occurrence. Honestly, usually I just clean the spots they missed or vacuum the car myself when I get home but that's only because I don't usually have time to inspect the car before leaving the lot (that's on me). To be specific, this past week when I went in, I paid for the exterior and interior of my car to be vacuumed and cleaned. When done, I got in my car and I saw some dust and stuff over on the more "hard to reach" areas of the dashboard, but I just brushed it off. Literally. Anyways, once I left the lot I saw that the cup holders, under the e-brake, the nav screen were quite literally untouched. They picked up the trash on the floor of the car and a vacuum was definitely used on the majority of the car, but once I got home, I found small trash like a gum wrapper and some other stuff placed on the backseats. Meaning, they probably picked it off the floor of my car and instead of tossing it; just placed it on the seats.. probably after vacuuming. I don't know. I think it's carelessness on behalf of the workers. Like others have said; this place is a hit or miss depending on who is cleaning your car. It's a quality control issue and I am sure if I had gone back they would've addressed the issue, but it's not something I was able to do that day. I have just come to accept that sometimes i'll have a great car wash and get my money's worth and other times, I will just get a decent car wash that'll get me through till next time. read more

After a few experiences at the Pasadena Car Wash, I can tell you this: It's about on par with what you would expect a quick-serve hand wash business in the Los Angeles area. My most recent visit was during the $22.97 "Early Bird Special" (Monday-Thursday from 8am until 10am). Greeted by a nice gentleman who didn't try to upsell me on what I requested (unlike during a busier weekday afternoon on a previous visit), and proceeded to go inside to hand over my ticket to the not-so-friendly female cashier who was a tad perturbed that I was interrupting her phone call to pay for my vehicle. By the way, I was the only customer at the car wash during this period. Nevertheless, I sat down in the shaded outdoor waiting area, and within 5 minutes, my vehicle was pulled up and a single gentleman began to dry off my car in a covered spot. He dried the car off within 10 minutes and after doing a quick inspection and getting him to dry off a few wet areas, I mentioned some of the tree sap / pollen stains that didn't come off. The friendly gentleman replied that those details would require a more detail-oriented package. In other words, more money. I declined this time, gave him my tip and was on my way. On my previous experience here, I went with the nearly $35 gold package due to extensive bird and tree droppings. The first gentleman (whom I encountered previously) suggested one of the premium detailing packages, but I didn't have the time or the money to go for it on that day. What I did notice in similarities was that the service was about the same regardless of price. In my mind, there was really no difference between the basic Early Bird and the Gold Package. The tires were treated a bit, but the caked on tree droppings were still present, despite the close-to-double pricing. The real truth is that if you want a great car wash, either do it yourself, or pay someone to come to your home, apartment or office and take the time to put in the work. I took my car there today for a regular wash . It was 23.00 dollars. My car is 2 years old and i take good care of it, This is my second time in this carwash. The first time was probably 15 years ago and it was a bad experience. They left the frame of the doors full of soap. They didn't even bother to pretend to dry it. I complained and a middle eastern guy came to my car to take care of the problem. He was mad and was speaking in his language agitating his arms. I never went back. Well today, October 28-2025 , I made the mistake to try it again. Their prices are lower than Arroyo carwash down the street . I figured maybe there's new management at this place and definitely there might be a new crew. Well, the place looked deserted until I saw a Latino employee guy coming out , I asked him in Spanish if it was still open. He ignored me totally. I asked him again. He looked at me and just continued drying a car. That should have been a red flag. I drove my car in and choose the regular carwash for 23.00 dollars. When my car was done I thank the guy who did my car after giving him a tip. I drove out and when I was looked in the back view mirror, I saw a film on the window. I was just a few yards away from the carwash so I went back. The manager sent the guy who did my car back to re do the window. He brought the spray bottle and a towel cloth and was very angry rubbing the back window. It seemed to look better. I left the carwash and I paid attention when I was under the sun light in the corner. Then I saw front windshield with lines and opaque spots. I drove back and the manager , a Latino guy, told me that it was only a regular carwash not a detailed service. I show him the pic of the window, I had just taken. He saw my window and again, justified the bad quality job by repeating i had paid for a regular carwash, not the expensive one. I pointed out to him the dusty console of my car. He was also rude too so I just left . I told him I was going to write a bad review. He didn't care. The carwash is obviously still own by the same people. Avoid this carwash. The workers seem so unhappy and are rude. They were not even busy to even use the excuse that were press for time and therefore neglected my car. There was only 1 car when I got there. Then 2 others arrived. This place is right across from Petco. Just go to the corner to Arroyo Parkway carwash. Even a regular carwash is fine very well. And if they do a mistake, they redo the entire car again. And no attitude . The manager sends someone else to redo the whole thing. Their customer service at Arroyo Parkway is excellent. They have a comfortable, covered waiting area with tables and chairs and even massage chairs available to purchase time. The small shop where you pay and check out has a small selection of drinks, snacks and car supplies. Let me first start off by saying always make sure to take a video of the exterior & interior of your car when letting others do the wash. I have only been to this car wash twice & never again will be going back. Upon getting into my vehicle I had spotted what looked like a chemical burn. Not sure what the worker sprayed on my middle console that it started to chip the paint off. When speaking to the manager he began to raise his voice & brushed me off. I again tried speaking to him & his worker that mistakes happen & I was wanting to come to a solution. The manager yelled and walked away. You can tell some of his workers felt uncomfortable with his reaction by coming to me trying to console me. Now this could have been easily fixed by going through insurance but this manager had zero communication & problem solving skills. This carwash is located next to an ihop across from Marshall's. If you're going south it is on your left hand side. If you're going north it's on your right hand side. Don't confuse this spot to Pasadena Car Wash on Del Mar. This one is down on arroyo.
