I paid $100 for a "discounted car wash" that was supposed to include an inside wax, outside wax, tire cleaning, and under armor treatment. Unfortunately, the service I received was far below expectations. When I got my car back, there was visible dirt around the window sections, the wipers were still dirty, and the interior was not vacuumed properly. Most concerning, the wax application was uneven and clearly not done correctly. When I brought these issues to the attention of the staff, I was met with extremely poor customer service. One employee insisted that the car was supposed to look like that, which was frustrating and dismissive. I then spoke with the manager, who agreed with me that the car was not properly cleaned. Only after pointing out each issue did they go back and fix what I had to specifically complain about. This experience was very disappointing, especially given the price paid and the promises made. I hope steps will be taken to improve both the quality of the service and the way customers are treated. read more

I've been a customer at the Pasadena Car Wash since 2017. I drive 30 minutes out of my way just to still go to this car wash, even though I moved 3 1/2 years ago. It takes longer than most car washes because they actually hand wash your car. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy. I have to give a huge shout out to Ben. I brought my car in to get washed and he pointed out two things to me that he didn't have to but I'm glad he did because they could have turned into bigger issues. The first was he identified a crack in my wind shield and he was able to fill it in so it didn't get larger and crack the windshield entirely. He also point out what I didn't know was rust on my car. Without knowing anything about my apartment complex, he asked if I parked my car in a garage with exposed pipes, which I do. He asked if there was a leaky pipe above my parking space, which there is. He gave me a great deal on detailing my car, was able to get the rust stain out and even buff some scratches I had that..... Thank you again Ben for your exceptional customer service! read more

Been coming here for years and I've never had a bad experience. Prices have gone up, but that was expected. They used to have a little pizza shop here too, but now that's gone. Anyway, because they hand wash here and it's usually busy, don't expect a quick turnaround. It will take some time, but it's worth it. They do a thorough job. Waiting area is also large with lots of seating, and there's a little shop inside where you can get snacks and drinks. read more

Ok wash, but they charge hidden credit card fee of 3% for any card and do not allow you to add tip. They point to an ATM which charges $3.50 to withdraw. If you go, have cash to save money. Also, waiting area is ugly and feels like jail. read more

I paid for a clay wax detail but wanted the focus to be on the interior. Everything was mostly cleaned except the middle console and parts of the seats. they left all the dirt and even old fry in the console. I understand it could have been easily missed but I emphasized that I wanted the interior detailed...everywhere because of dirt, hair, etc. kind of disappointing for $200+ They also left a couple of spots on the outside that can easily be scratched off if you apply enough force . My experience here was good. For the price of a regular car wash in/out, they clean the interior almost as if they were detailing it. Only thing that they didn't do was use the blower on my grill to blow out the water. I have a large grill and if they don't blow the water out it just splashes up on the hood of my car and windshield. No worries, next time I'll. Just make sure they blow the water out. First time at this car wash, and I have to say that I'm very impressed. I usually go to Fast Express on Colorado blvd, but have been disappointed with the results - my car comes out dripping wet and dirty. I thought I'd give hand washing a chance and I'm SO glad I did. I Paid $30 for the silver package and the results are fantastic! I think it's well worth the price! Wash, wax, tire shine, and vacuuming/interior cleaning are all included in the price (there's a cheaper package for $26). I went on Saturday morning and expected a long wait time, but was pleasantly surprised that there was no one in line. My car was washed and polished within 25 minutes - the exterior is gleaming and the interior is spotless (for reference, I have a long haired German shepherd, so my seats are often covered with fur). The hand washers did a thorough job! There's also a nice, covered seating area where you can wait as your car is being cared for. Overall, I really recommend this business and I'll definitely be back when my car is looking dirty again! read more

My car was filthy as I took a couple road trips through California. Then it rained for weeks and it couldn't be washed properly. Finally I had a sunny day to clean it up! I didn't get the high end detail because I've never been here before and didn't know the value. I got the early bird special for $18.99 plus tax! (From 8-10am) The vehicle does go through an automatic wash but a service worker provides the hand wash. Then it gets wiped down inside and out. And vacuumed. The car was 90% better than when I brought it in! Carpets vacuumed very well! Though the interior was not very polished, still dusty in many areas. Water spots and dirt were still on the car door. Windows were better but still some spots. It was a very fast job. About 15 minutes. I never know how much to tip at car washes as I often wonder if the workers even get minimum wage. I assume they don't. I tipped $6 today. The highlight of this place is the lobby! The massage chairs are $1 for 5 minutes. Worth it! I really needed that! read more

Partner's car was damaged in the interior and no accountability was taken. The manager was rude and diminishing to my partner. The worker stated he didn't cause this and he was apologetic. The repair is going to cost over $800 for what appears to be chemical damage ok a car that is less than a year old with no previous damage. This is highly highly disappointing. Pulled up to the wash about 5 minutes prior to the top of the hour. It didn't look too busy. Took them almost 40 minutes to even start washing my car. There were only 3 cars ahead of mine in line and my car just sat in the back of their building for 35 minutes. I check my dash cam and saw my car was just sitting back there. I asked how much longer and the lady at the cashier said I'd need to wait. So I asked how much longer because 30+ minutes to wait for the wash to even get started is a bit excessive unless the place was extremely busy. Which it wasn't. About 8 customers in total in the waiting area. She asked the guy outside and he offered to start it right away. I'm not entirely sure why it took so long to even start the wash, but I don't think I'll be coming back to this wash if this is the experience. read more

They get the job done (surface level). Only come if you're desperate or else I would drive to the east part of town or literally anywhere else. Save your money! -- this literally this was my second time here. And now I remember why I haven't come back. (The last time was in January 2020). They definitely don't scrub hard on surfaces and the inside always has little remnants. My whole dashboard had spots of stickiness. This place was recommended by a friend. If there was a way to give 3.5 stars I would mostly positive. I ordered the gold service ($31.99 for Truck/SUV, there's am understandable service fee if you use a card). The inside of the shop (cashier and vending machine) and outdoor waiting area was a bit run down. First, the positive, the outside sparkled and so did MOST of the inside of my vehicle. However, the cup holder area was barely touched. So later today, I will have to clean that part that should have been taken care of. Which admittedly is irritating. The temperature yesterday was mid-to-high 80s when my vehicle was cleaned. So perhaps that may have factored into why they missed the area? Again, for the most part, my vehicle sparkled, but the overlooked cup holder area brought the score down. read more

In prehistoric times, the California-Arroyo Car Wash was the first her in Pasadena. Then generations later, the Pasadena Car Wash on Del Mar got built and started business. I remember when they first opened. They were a huge success and washed cars so well. Now in the modern day, California-Arroyo seems old, depressing, and doesn't seem to do a great job on car washes. Pasadena Car Wash does a solid job for the most part. But a Silver Wash costs $36.99 plus tip. This includes a wash, vacuum, and tire dressing. So I came here to the Pasadena Hand Wash. It's on the south part of Arroyo Parkway, near the 110 freeway. It's a no-frills wash with a patio waiting area. But you get a solid hand wash, tire dressing and vacuum for $28.99. I'll be coming here from now on. read more
