Took my car in for a wash and came out with a damaged car after that. The owner tried to blame me for the damage and said my car was broken already. I asked for a full refund and a part replacement and said no . Never come here if you want your car to come out damaged . Especially a new car. I'm going to keep this review short and simple. I came here today because of the positive yelp reviews. I paid $50 for hand wax and whatever comes with it. For one, I guess for $50 they don't vacuum your seats. And two, even after all the wash and expensive wax, my exterior still had dirt marks and wet spots. I just wasted $50. Very disappointed. They just performed quick soap water wash with a quick wipe down, the dirt is visible from 2 feet away, the back door was not even opened to clean back seats area. Came here yesterday and paid $25.99 for a car wash just to not have my car completely vacuumed and wiped down inside. Cup holder still dirty, trash still in the door, backseat only vacuumed on one side. Thank goodness my car wasn't extremely dirty inside, I wiped everything down myself after leaving. I brought my car in for a thorough cleaning and they did t wash the mats (which are rubber and only needed a hosing off), neglected to wash or even wipe the door jams and left the interior so oiled up with armor all my clothes absorbed most of what was on the seat. This business is horribly run. Not only are they slow and lackadaisical, they nickel-and-dime you with uncharges. Today I drove up to have my car washed. Ordinarily at a car wash, you expect a guy directing you to the place where you should stop. I saw one guy on a phone, meandering nearby. I wasn't even sure if he worked there. There were no other cars waiting, so I stopped where I thought I should. A minute later--while still on the phone--the meandering guy wandered toward my car. This was my first indication that he worked there. I told him I wanted a regular wash, and he wrote it down on his pad. As I walked inside toward the cashier, she glanced at me, then looked down at her phone which was on the counter. Since it would take at least 15 minutes to wash the car, I stood there silently, waiting to see how long it would take her to acknowledge me. About 45 seconds later, she looked up, and said, "Oh, sorry, sorry," and began processing my ticket. Now, the sign out front says $16.99. But in the "fine print" it turns out that's the early-bird price. The regular price is $21.99. Then, if you have an SUV, that's another $2. Then, if you're paying with a credit card, they uncharge you for that. So, what I thought would be a $16.99 car wash, ended up costing about $25. (And that's before tip.) Now, back to the cashier: While processing my ticket and entering it into the payment device, she got a phone call, which she answered. No big deal, but then she literally walked away from the desk, across the room, walked into an office, and shut the door behind her. NOT ONE WORD to me, i.e., "Be right back." I'm literally standing there ready to pay, and she walks away and says NOTHING. Then, a minute later when she returned, she also said NOTHING. No, "Sorry about that" or anything at all. She just continued tapping on the machine, and then presented me with the humongous total, which I then had to ask her to clarify. The rest of the visit went as expected, but they're slow--and the finished job was just OK, not great. There were splashed-water spots under my windows that I had to wipe myself. Bottom line: This place has horrible customer service and is WAY overpriced for what you get. AVOID. read more

I paid $30 for a car wash and hand detailing/ dressing of the interior including air freshener. I was promised that the leather interior would be cleaned and vacuumed out completely. Not only was that NOT done, but the guy who was detailing my car fought me on it and told me that my car was "just like that" with dust and dirt on the dash- his boot footprints in the car and nothing cleaned on the interior. They said it was my makeup or body lotion- I've never had a problem with my interior before this. It's not body lotion or makeup. They also left clay markings and streaky windows- how was this $30?! It wasn't until I complained to management that they washed it again. I'm still waiting for the second wash and detail to be finished- hopefully it's better than the first time. Got my car washed at Pasadena Hand Wash. Bought the most expensive gold package. The person who cleaned the car interior honked, left my keys on the wind shield and walked away. Rude. After coming from the waiting area, I saw debris on the car that he missed, but he never came close enough to the car for me to interact with him in any way. Apparently my car was the final wash of the day. They were closing so I drove off. I noticed the inside of the car was not as clean as I would have expected, so I looked closely and saw that part of the interior of the car was broken and missing. While driving, I find the number and call the car wash, at first it goes to voicemail and then the owner picks up. I explain the broken part and he says to bring the car back in the morning. I bring the car back the next morning. He calls over the person who cleaned it who says "I didn't touch anything inside." Sir, was your whole job to clean the inside of the car? What do you mean you didn't touch anything inside the car? That explains why the inside of the car wasn't well cleaned. So the owner says I can bring back the car for another wash and then he will fix the broken piece. Yeah, no. This was my first and last time patronizing this establishment. I usually go to the car wash up the street - they cost a little more but at least my car has never come back BROKEN. Buyer beware! read more

I have nothing but positive things to say on behalf of Pasadena Hand-Wash! Recently, I have been trying out different car-wash shops because I have not been satisfied my last two washes. I came across Pasadena Hand-Wash, and I was pleased with their customer-service. I believe I had met the owner of the shop, and he was very polite. They have a little, cool shop inside where they carry basic car-necessities, accessories, and snacks. As far as the car-wash, they had left my car clean to perfection. I specifically explained to them that I had been struggling to remove these stains on the hood of my car, and they very carefully scraped off all of the unwanted residue. I came here for the first time since it's the closest hand wash to my house. There was no line. I picked Silver wash for $21, which includes exterior and vacuuming. I tipped the guy another five before picking it up. After I picked up the car, it had dirt on the trunk, some doors, and front bumper, and dried water-spots all over it. The vehicle was very poorly vacuumed. They haven't cleaned under the mats either. Overall they did an abysmal job, especially for the price they charge. read more

If your car is already fairly clean on the inside and outside, then this is the place for you--if you're willing to pay their prices. Heads up they only vacuum the interior very minimally and maybe wipe down the dash. Other than that, you'll have to pay for the detail service if you want anything else cleaned inside your car.
