Tried Parlor for the first time because a friend recommended it. As soon as I walked in, they showed great service. The gentleman at the register was helpful in letting me know their top sellers. They have a nice setup that's appealing to the eyes and not your usual idea of a donut shop. I grabbed two French toast doughnuts, the lemon delight and bourbon caramel...All were really good (ok I shared. I only tasted the French toast and bourbon, but the lemon was all mine). There weren't that many options when we got there but it was 11am on a Saturday so it wasn't totally surprising. We got the white Christmas, French toast, and Vietnamese coffee donuts and they were good and fluffy! The Vietnamese coffee one was the best by a long shot. This review is for the gluten free doughnuts only. I want to start off saying it is amazing that there is a gluten free option at this popular spot. An option is better than no option at all and they overall tase pretty good. The staff were sweet and helpful. That being said, when you walk in, you won't see the gf option because they're kept in the back. This is probably to reduce cross contamination but compared to the large, fluffy, decadent regular doughnuts, they can be a bit disappointing. You can pick what flavor you want them and what you will receive is a cold, small, doughnut base and depending on what topping you requested, that will be drizzled on top. You can't go in expecting what you see on the shelves or else, like me, you will be disappointed. I wish they were advertised accurately. I probably would have only had one. read more

I went with the sandy beach donut which had a croissant texture. Nice flavor however the knock against this establishment was that they don't warm up the donuts for you which in my opinion gives the donut a better taste and brings out whatever flavor the donut happens to be. The inside of the establishment could have been a lot cleaner. The floor was dirty and the trash can on the inside was overflowing. This is about to be a lengthy review but thought I should share. I placed an online order hoping to be in and out quickly. When I arrived, I asked one of the many confused girls for my order. One girl gave me my coffee, and a few minutes later I got my "breakfast sandwich" (see photo for the so called sandwich). One of the girls told be the minis I had ordered weren't ready and that they would take about 15 min. I asked if I could just get a refund instead. After 10 min. of her attending other clients I walked to the cashier and she said "you're waiting for your refund right?" And I said "yes. Please". I never left the counter and about 10 minutes later she asks me "do you need something?" "Yes, my money back" and she replied "I don't know how to do it, she'll do it (and points to the other girl who walked to the kitchen)" but never even cared to mention it to her. When the other girl came back with a straight unprofessional face I asked her if she could help me with my refund for the minis to what she replied "they're not ready". I said "I know that's why I want a refund" She only says "what's your name?" I give her my name and she says she doesn't have an order with my name. (!!?!?) It's already been about 25 min. No doughnuts, and no money back. One of the other girls comes up and they figure it out and said they've returned my money. The unprofessional attitude and a lack of resolution left me dissatisfied. The coffee was okay, but the breakfast sandwich was disappointing, and I missed out on trying their doughnuts due to the lengthy process. If you're planning on stopping by during the weekend, I'd recommend having enough time - expect to wait at least 15-20 min. or more if you're ordering more than doughnuts but definitely recommend sticking to just doughnuts. And to the business: train your employees and encourage them to have a better attitude towards clients. read more
