Paris Baguette where have you been all my life?!? Oh my gosh I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is. My dad calls it "pastry Disneyland"; it truly is. Every single pastry and goodie here is beautiful, it truly is like you are at a cafe in Paris (only there is more to choose from). There is a pastry for every type of tastebud and let me tell you it's very difficult to choose (so get lots). We also enjoy their extremely fresh sandwiches; everything here is extremely high quality and fresh (I don't know how they do it)! I've been here multiple times. The customer service is pretty good. All the pastries are amazing 10 out of 10 or even better. It's usually pretty packed and I can see why. The staff were nice and the store front was clean- the lights were a bit bright. There's tons of seating inside and outside. I was so excited when I found out Paris Baguette was opening closer to home! This is a busy area and I anticipate this spot with stay busy with the foot traffic. When we have gone it was before 8am and not lines out of the door. You grab a tray and use the tongs to grab what you want. Then wait in line to be ringed up. It's also really cute and I just loved the atmosphere and the people that work there are friendly. I can't wait to go back. We were excited to see it coming to the area as our previous experiences as Paris Baguette's other locations were very positive. This location seems much smaller than their Scottsdale spot. We went on a Saturday evening at 4:30 pm it was very busy and they were out of a few things. But the staff was very nice and what the did have was very good nice looking. I think once the newness dies down a bit it will be a little better. Everyone is walking in every direction so makes it a little hard to navigate. I got a cinnamon twist donut. It's very clean inside, huge parking lot, music isn't too loud. It's very busy inside, and with good reason. Service was super friendly, I asked a question about one of the coffees, and the cashier didn't know, so she found someone who did know. Very nice. (I was just asking what was in the Korean iced coffee). They said it was strong and sweet (just like me-jk) but it had milk and half and half and sweetener. I think it's strong if you're only a casual coffee drinker. It had a balanced, not overly sweet flavor, the coffee itself wasn't bitter and imo had notes of chocolate. The frosting didn't taste like a heavy cream cheese frosting, more of a vanilla buttercream but still very good. 7/10 I got the soft cream bread, Irish cream cruffin, Nutella cruffin and pineapple tart. Pineapple tart, canned pineapple tops this pastry base. There's some vanilla cream, it has raw sugar around the edges for extra crunch. I love love love pineapple so idc that it's canned. The pastry base was baked well, crisp but also tender. 9/10 Irish cream cruffin 8.5/10 It wasn't too sweet, had a great crunch, you could see all of the pastry layers. There was a generous amount of Irish cream filling with a dark chocolate coating on top. Yummm. If you like Irish cream, don't skip this. Nutella cruffin 7/10 The pastry wasn't too sweet but this one was a little drier on the inside than the Irish cream, and it had less filling. Great flavor though. Cream bread 8/10 Fluffy loaf, subtly sweet. Seems like the perfect bread to turn into French toast. For the women's restroom, there's no baby changing table. I didn't need one, just FYI. My sister and I were excited to learn that they opened up this location in Peoria. But were very disappointed that on the day after they opened and three hours before they close, their shelves were bare! To me, this is a grand opening fail. They should have been over stocked, not empty!! We did not purchase anything, but instead sat outside and talked. We saw dozens of customers walk through their doors only to turn around and walk out due to lack of inventory. So disappointing!! The ambiance of the restaurant was well done and the staff were friendly. Can't review the food... the cakes looked good, but not what we wanted. This is a much welcome addition to the area. If you are familiar with 85c; Paris Baguette would be the glamourous sister of it. It is a beautiful large space with ample tables to dine in and hang out if you wanted to. I especially love the large menu of food items and drinks. If you are a coffee lover, this is a great place to visit as the drink menu is very coffee forward. I have so far visited 3 times in the past 3 weeks, so once a week as of the time of this review. I wanted to make sure I had enough opportunity to experience this location. And to get awesome treats of course. Service has been consistently friendly and the wait in line was little to none. My visits so far have been in the mornings between 7:30 and 8:30 so the wait times to check out may be different later in the day. I am unable to give out a perfect 5 stars because not all menu items were available during my visits. It's disappointing to be excited for a particular item only to find that it is not available when you visit. Being the glamourous sister to 85c, the prices reflect that as well. I will be scaling way back on the visits as I've spent too much than I care to admit lol. On the plus side, Paris Baguette has its own app and rewards program so it is an absolute must-have if you are going to be a regular visitor to make your money spent count for something. This location now has mobile ordering turned on in the app. I have not used it and I don't think I will as it's apparent the full menu of food items isn't always available at any given time. We had a really disappointing experience. We waited a very long time just for one drink, and when we finally got it, it was made incorrectly. We stood there waiting to let someone know, but the employees completely ignored us and acted like we were invisible. One gentleman was the only person who actually acknowledged us and tried to help, but even he was ignored by the other employees. I have honestly never experienced worse customer service than this. The employees seriously need to improve their attitude, professionalism, and the way they treat customers. Each week I go to Paris Baguette and I purchase two berry tarts, French bread, and a salted croissant. Today, like all other days, I requested a particular berry tart from the casing. The young lady who assisted me, asked someone else to grab it for her. I watch as she handed me a berry tart that was not what I wanted. I asked again if she could give me the one I wanted. They pretended to exchange the item only to give me the original tart I did not want. I knew this is what transpired so I very politely asked if I could just purchase both berry tarts and the young lady insisted that it was not necessary. When I got to the car, guess what I had....the original berry tart with the soggy berries. Now I ask you, if I am paying for the merchandise, why can'I I get what I asked and paid for? These young women are incredibly judgmental, lack customer care, and incapable of seeing their jobs as anything more than an exchange of money for food. Back in 2024 we went to San Francisco, CA with my aunt Gloria, and Sister Theresa with Mom and Dad for a cruise. We were doing some laundry when we noticed a bakery called @parisbaguette_usa. This was the first time we had heard of them/tried and loved their stuff. We were mourning leaving San Fran knowing we probably wouldn't get to go back for a long time. Now enter recent day where we have a store not too far from Dad's house! Of course we had to go! We started with the Fruit tarts first, dad and I loved them so much we noticed the sweetness and sourness that was almost like a sourdough. Also it was the best fruit tarts we have had anywhere we can think of. Then onto the King Cream donut the King Cream was the same as used in the tarts. Light and not overly sweet. Donut was good, reminded us of Bosa or Dunkin. The ham and cheese croissant was the savory we needed, the crunchy cheese with a bit of salt we believe was gruyere and the ham worked so well with it all. We have the rest for later but for sure we got the pain au chocolat Dad's favorite and I got a Butter Bun which I loved from our first time there. The pastries were all dry. The almond croissant had no almond in it. The twisted donut tasted like it was made yesterday. My husband that pretty much loves all pastry said Safeway is better. I spent $25 on four tasteless dry pastries. Their floors and tables were dirty with people standing around not sure of what they should be doing. Wow, this place is SO ANNOYING! They say they open at 0600 per the website. I showed up at 0610 so I could have a pick of any of their pastries. Big mistake. They only had 3 types of pastries for me to choose from. I thought that maybe I had gotten the time wrong. Nope, they said that they only put a few out so they would be fresh? Did not make any sense, I could see multiple racks of pastries ready to go, they just chose to not put them out. I could have accepted something like they were behind or had a few call outs, but this was not the case. They went on to say that if I wanted to choose from all of the pastries I would need to come back at 0800. They should just say they open at 0800. I would have slept in if I would have known this. My husband and I visited after seeing this spot on TikTok and couldn't wait to try it.The tongs-and-tray setup made it fun and interactive.We shared a few treats at home,and the Dubai Chocolate Mochi Donut and fruit pastry were incredible--rich,fresh,and delicious.We also enjoyed the Raspberry Almond Croissant.The only slight letdown was the Chocolate Croissant,which is more usual go to but would have enjoyed a smidge more chocolate inside of it.
