You can download the Crumbl Cookies app to place orders online and earn reward points on your purchases. I actually used the Uber app this time since I had some credits available, which helped cover part of the purchase. They do have an option to add your rewards account, but currently it doesn't allow you to earn points when ordering through Uber. Hopefully that will be a feature in the future. When I arrived, the staff greeted me right away. I let them know I already had an order placed, and they quickly handed it to me. One thing I noticed this time is that they didn't open the box to show the cookies before handing it over. Usually they show you the order to make sure everything looks good before you leave. I did check the box once I got to my car just to make sure everything was correct, and it was. Tip: If you get the Cinnamon Square, warm it up in the microwave for about 20 seconds once you get home. It makes it nice and warm and even more delicious. Also, just a heads-up: ordering through the Uber app is a little more expensive than ordering directly through the Crumbl Cookies app. This Crumbl Cookies location is in the plaza across the street from Fry's Food and Drug, next to Dunkin', Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, a pizza spot, and several other businesses in the area. She is also on Facebook and has just started a Yelp account. She bakes a lot of sweet dessert treats besides fruit tarts. I contacted Cynthia through Instagram three days before Hub's birthday, thinking I had waited too long and I was too late to get a custom order. She answered me immediately and said that it would be no problem and three days is enough time . She mentioned that fruit tarts can be ready within the same day usually because they are faster to prepare. I was looking to order a cake. I asked for a white cake with chocolate frosting. She provided me examples of decorations and asked me several questions about filling and toppings. A $20 deposit is required and I paid that easily through Zelle. You can also pay cash when you pick up your order. To pick up, we arranged a convenient spot and time near both of us. When I arrived at the pick up site, she was already there and had my cakes in the trunk ready for delivery. Cynthia is a very attentive and caring baker. She wanted to know how we liked the cake and any improvements we could provide to her. I felt the joy and happiness she had for us enjoying her creation as we parted and I knew that her baked items would be filled with love and care. Something that I really appreciated about her delivered cakes is that she sticks the paper and the cardboard bottom holding the cake to the box with a little bit of sticky. Usually, I'm trying to drive carefully when I have a cake in my car because it will slide everywhere and stick to the sides of the carton. It was very nice to discover that she had stabilized the cake in the center of the container and it kept it safe during transport. She did the same thing with the mini tarts that she baked for us last minute because I told her how much we loved fruit tarts. She literally baked them within a few hours before pick up and had them ready with fresh fruit on top - so delicious! When our cake was done, Cynthia texted me a picture of the cake and, "I really hope you like it, it's entirely made from scratch - flour, egg whites, pure vanilla, butter and oil, the buttercream frosting as well". I was so happy to read this because I appreciate high-quality and clean ingredients and I know that one usually can't find this when getting cakes from the local grocery store or out of a box. If you're looking to support a small local business who puts a lot of love and attention into your custom order, you must try this business. I live in CA but my sister and her family live is AZ, I was searching on yelp for a bakery who specifically made Vintage heart cakes, for my niece's 16th birthday. I found Amber's business through a quick yelp search and was able to quickly see that she creates beautiful desserts including the Vintage heart cake that I wanted to order. I immediately reached out and she let me know she can definitely make this happen, we messaged back and forth for a few days until I locked in my order on 09/07/2023 at 9:15am. I understand that this was short notice because I did need the cake for 09/11/2023 but she guaranteed it would be available and I sent the payment for $125.00. The morning of my sister was able to go to amber's place of residence to pick up the cake, Amber asked my sister if she was happy with the cake and of course my sister said yes because it was a gift from me to her daughter. My sister sent me pictures of the cake and I was not happy with what it looked like. Amber does have a strict policy which I completely understand (I signed the contract). I reached out to Amber and sent her pictures of the cake to show her that it was damaged without any error on our part (cake was picked up). She proceeded to let me know that she became ill on Thursday 09/07/2023 (when I ordered the cake) and she was unable to make/decorate the cake so she had her "assistant who is still learning" make it. She offered a partial refund of $25 and a discount on a future order or my sister could bring back the cake to her place of residence and I could receive a "full refund" minus the 50% retainer. I opted for the $25 refund because my sister lives 30 minutes away and was having a dinner party for my niece. I understood the terms of the contract but was upset that I didn't have an option prior to receiving the cake. If she would have sent me a message prior I would have definitely understood. A part of me feels she took advantage knowing I was in CA and the person picking up the cake was near her. My sister ending up taking the cake to Fry's so they can write "Virgo szn"on top of the cake and fix the frosting on the side of the cake.
