I said I would never make it back here but decided to give it another shot for my daughter's birthday brunch. Again, highly disappointed. Everyone's food was brought out at different times making it hard to enjoy while you're waiting an additional 10 minutes for your food. 2 meals were brought out cold, which you think would be hard to believe after I've waited all the extra time. The complaint was received well by management, who remade the order (more wait time), however it seemed to give our server the biggest attitude. We decided to go here for lunch today (Monday) around 2ish...it was empty. The restaurant is very bright and VERY pink. The first thing hubby said was it reminded him of Las Vegas...and, it really does!! We ordered our drinks: water and iced tea. The iced tea is sweetened, they don't have unsweetened. And, the glasses were like small tumblers, very pretty to look at, but don't really hold a lot of your beverage. Luckily, our server was on top of it and kept our glasses full. We wanted a starter, but after looking at the menu, decided to choose a Chicken Quesadilla and split it. It was good, very cheesy and the chicken had a tangy rub on it. It came with a tomatillo sauce and what looked like applesauce. After asking, we were told it was their salsa. Hubby really liked the tomatillo sauce a lot. For our entrees, we both got burgers. I got the Bleu Cheese Bacon Burger...no bacon (if you've read my other reviews, you know I don't like bacon on my burger), no pickles, no shredded lettuce or tomatoes. It did have bleu cheese crumbles, sauteed mushrooms, grilled onions and their Sugar Factory sauce (like thousand island) on a toasted brioche bun. It was a delicious burger! Perfectly medium and very juicy. I enjoyed it immensely!! Hubby got the Big Cheesy Burger...no pickles. It comes with what looks like a tin can on top of it, our waiter lifts it up and the cheese sauce drips over the entire burger. It looked very messy, but he loved it!! A little hard to eat, but he managed with a fork and knife...LOL!! The burgers come with a side of their fries, which were very good!! Both of our burgers were supposed to come with fried onion straws, which we didn't realize were left off until we were done. They would've made for a really nice crunchy texture to our burgers. Since it's the Sugar Factory and there's candy and sweets all over the menu, we decided to order dessert. We shared the Cookie Skillet with vanilla ice cream. It came to the table in a little skillet with a side of multi-colored white chocolate (we didn't pour it over...too sweet) and a little shot glass of M&M's. We were so excited to dig in, but were met with a very hard cookie. We were surprised to find that it wasn't hot or warm. We were able to dig out the middle, which was very tasty, full of nutella and chocolate chips, but disappointed that it wasn't gooey with melted ice cream over it. We asked our waiter about it and he said it's supposed to be hot. Oh well... Overall, it wasn't a bad meal, but there were definitely some things to improve on. They should really offer unsweetened ice tea and, please, use bigger glasses!!! And, make sure to have all the components on the burgers. Also, if your Cookie Skillet is supposed to be hot...serve it hot!!! I will say, our server was very nice, so sorry I didn't get his name. He was friendly and honest with us. No alcohol of course because I was driving. My sister and friend decided they were going to share an alcoholic gauntlet and they wanted a watermelon flavored one. We also ordered one spinach and artichoke dip to share and I had the brick chicken with mashed potatoes. The waitress came and took our orders. I ordered first and she said the Kevin Hart Peach drink was not available and that they had been out of it for some time so I ended up getting a different peach one... They have a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ice cream and much more! There were also sliders in all the colors of the rainbow! If Willy Wonka made burgers, they would look just like these! The only surprise was that many of the non-alcoholic drinks were in the $30-$40.00 range. I was surprised that the alcoholic drinks were significantly cheaper. Okay, twist my arm! So, we ordered something to eat. The brunch menu was really nice. Sugar factory is very appealing to the eye just based off of their decorations. Inside is very clean and placement of tables are not over crowding. Service was great and all staff members we encountered during our visit were friendly. The main reason for the drop in stars is due to the quality of the food and the price of the food. Also an overwhelming options to the menu (this could be a good and bad thing). We ordered three different plates and all with the exception of the burger the food was not of quality and hard to finish. This type of environment is more known for their over the top drinks which are really "photo/video friendly". I would not recommend this place at all. The entire process took over 3 hours. We called ahead to make a reservation and were told it was dead and no reservation was necessary. When we arrived, we were told there would be a 1.5 hour wait. I gave the front desk my number, but no one ever called us when our table was ready. When we checked back in, they claimed they had been waiting for us--even though we never got a call or text. We came with a party of 10 just for the Kong ice cream. When we were finally seated, the bowls we were given were filthy. We told the waitress, and she took them but never came back with clean ones. Several people asked for drinks, and again, the waitress never returned. By the time we received our check, the ice cream had completely melted into soup. I ordered the Kong ice cream, which is around $100, but my bill came out to nearly $150 due to service charges and an automatic gratuity--despite the fact that the waitress only brought us one item and never returned with anything else we asked for. We were a party of 10 and Brian was very patient with all of us. ;) He gave great suggestions and was super helpful with the kids order, making sure we weren't ordering too big of an item for their little tummies. I've never waited so long to order drinks or lunch it was insane! 20 min later waiter comes back out to tell my daughter they didn't have bananas to make her French toast. We ordered a couple shakes: the Carnival (something with fried oreos and silver dollar pancakes) and their Oreo Madness. Both shakes were perfectly sweet, as long as you're someone with a sweet tooth like our table was, we enjoyed our shakes. We shared each shake easily with three people, along with our entrees. I tried a few of their appetizers with the sampler, and that selection may have been the least impressive if I had to pick one. Our table also ordered the Cajun chicken penne pasta, the flamin hot Cheetos angus burger with fries, and Brooklyn loaded fries (pepperoni, mozzarella, marinara sauce) That dish was a pleasant surprise with how delicious and cheesy it was. I'd definitely suggest requesting light on the marinara sauce, or ask for the marinara on the side since the only complaint was how soggy the fries got. Everyone seemed to enjoy their dishes. We shared everything, too, among 5 of us. It's definitely a great venue for special occasions, or holiday get-togethers as we had with family. It's pricey, but you could easily share every plate, just as we had. If I'd had a bigger stomach, I'd have wanted to try more from their menu.
