Got a slice of brownie on its own, that was a fail, it had a fishy aftertaste. My daughter and I stopped by Frozen Penguin after visiting the OdySea Aquarium. The ice cream shop is located on the second floor, right next to the OdySea Gift shop. The ice cream shop offers a wide range of ice cream from regular ice cream scoops, dippin dots, brownie sundaes, ice cream cookie sandwiches, floats, and much more! We had arrived around 11:30 and there was only one other customer inside Frozen Penguin. My daughter had selected the dippin dots chocolate ice cream and I had decided to choose the Brownie Ice Cream Sundae with Vanilla Ice cream/Caramel Sauce. It took approximately 15 minutes to prepare both. My daughter enjoyed her chocolate dippin dots ice cream. The Brownie Ice Cream Sundae was disappointing though, especially for $8.95. The Brownie was extremely hard. It was too difficult to eat and inedible. The ice cream scoop was small and the M&M' toppings were stale. It's quite expensive at Frozen Penguin. We had a lot of fun with the kids stopping here after a trip to Odysea. Advertising works! In fact, you can actually measure your height in ice cream sandwiches (which you know we totally did). Super cute place located in the same "center" as the aquarium. It was super empty which was a scary sign but once we tasted our treats we were all very delighted. My parents tried the mint brownie sandwich and my daughter and I shared the custom Cookie sandwich. I thought this was an excellent themed addition next to the aquarium! My friend and I stopped by before our aquarium visit. It was our first time visiting. It wasnt busy at all and as we quickly browsed the menu we decided to share a cookie/brownie combo sandwich. We picked a cookie option of m&m cookie and had a brownie for the other end of our sandwich. In the middle we chose vanilla ice cream. We didn't really want toppings but added penguin gummies because after all it is penguin ice cream! The only down-fall I would say is that we weren't suggested to have our ice cream 'penguin style'. I noticed the menu in small print at the bottom that you can have your ice cream penguin style which includes: whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and penguin gummies. Being that we already added the gummies I felt the extra whipped cream and syrup would've been nice. However, I didn't notice the menu until we were sitting outside eating our ice cream already. Stopped in today for some ice cream after a visit to the aquarium. As I walked in with my hands full and managing my three year old a staff member was quick to let me know that my mask had slipped down and he need me to pull it up if I wanted to be in the store (literally within seconds of walking in the door) I complied after setting my things down. I pointed to the "Superman" ice cream without looking at the label and let him know we'd take a scoop of the rainbow ice cream. The staff member was quick to let me know it was not rainbow ice cream it was Superman. This team member needs a lesson in customer service.
