Yuki was our server and he was absolutely incredible. He made the evening very pleasant. The decor and ambiance is very nice and all of our cocktails were perfect. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and some meals to share for our group. Vegetable croquettes were absolutely so so good. I would highly recommend them. Tuna tartar was good. A solid tuna tartar. Duck confit empanadas were good but overall least favorite from the group. Prawns and polenta you have to get! The polenta was perfect and the prawns and linguica had a lot of flavor. We also shared the dry aged rib eye which was cooked perfectly and very good. We had the pork saltimboca which was good but the rib eye was far better. My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Parchetto. Great ambiance, service and food. We split a beet salad containing two kinds of beets, fresh greens, goat cheese and walnuts. My wife ordered the Lam Shank which was a sizable portion with risotto and steamed vegetables. Perfectly cooked! I had the Chilean Sea Bass in a Lobster sauce accompanied with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Only complaint I have was the small portion of fish, but it was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Prochetto offers a nice selection of wines by the glass and bottle at a fair price. Prochetto ages beef and Duck in a dry aging chamber at the back of the restaurant dining area. We will be returning to try the duck next time. It's a special so one should call ahead of time to make sure it's available. read more

Parchetto is delightful! We had pretty high hopes since it come from the Il Corteille lineage and we were not disappointed. Really great cocktails, excellent food, wine with a reasonable markup, impeccable service. Not everything came out at once but that is a tough bar to hit when the food is that pitch perfect. I got the special Paella. Exquisite. The Lamb Shank was just perfect. The Tuna Tartare is to die for. I seriously could have just soloed that for an entree and would have totally happy. Celebrated by 25 year wedding anniversary here while doing some winetasting in Paso Robles and it did not disappoint. My husband had the bass and I have the lamb shank. We started off with the grilled octopus in the seafood croquettes. They were both so good. We got a second order of the octopus and ate all of that ate all of our entrées and then they gave us an anniversary dessert. That was a chocolate soufflé style dessert. Service was terrible. We sat for 10min before someone came to ask us what we wanted to drink. We asked for sparkling water and that took another 10min to get. I ordered the lamb shank and risotto -the amount of salt in both would ensure I would float in any body of water. The waitress never came back to ask us how the food was before someone took it away. I will never eat here again. Waste of money and my time. So many good restaurants in Paso Robles and this one is not it. Stay clear. read more

First of all when I made reservations, I was asked if it was a special occasion. It was our anniversary. The only thing I got for that was a happy anniversary from the girl at the door. The service was great. We both ordered drinks, I ordered a gin and tonic. I was charged for the gin and another cost for the tonic WTF. My wife had a fish dish. It was way over cooked. McDonald's fish sandwich is much better. I had the New York steak. It was tough and not very tasty. All in all we will not be back. We decided to celebrate our 20th Anniversary at Parchetto. The ambiance and the service both, extraordinary! Missed opportunity... I go to this restaurant fairly frequently and it is usually quite good. Went by tonight at 8:30pm to grab dinner after what I thought would be after the dinner rush. The place was empty and the bartender told me they had decided to close early so I couldn't eat. I usually spend $120 for dinner so they missed out. I get that some nights are slow, but turning away loyal customers is a bad decision. Especially when you decide to close more than 1.5 hours early. The bartender was a little abrupt as well. It wasn't Leo, who would have been a little more empathetic. Ended up going around the corner to S'Aranella. Had a good meal there instead. They get one extra star because I know the food is good. read more

Hands-down, one of the best meals I've ever had in Paso. We are locals and been to all the places, I'm so happy that this new restaurant has opened. We started with the scallops and bruschetta . The scallops are melt in your mouth delicious and the accompaniments they have with them like sweet potato and balsamic is just ridiculously good. The bruschetta is so delicious. Not too crunchy just the right bite of everything. We had an excellent experience dining at Parchetto tonight for Valentine's Day. The venue itself has a classic sexy steakhouse vibe. The service, cocktails, wine selection and food all were excellent. We started with the shrimp and grits with linguisa and chorizo. Entrees were the lamb shank and a special of the night paella. After being seated promptly, we waited a very long time for our server to tell us about specials so that we could ponder our meal and corresponding beverage pairing for the evening. Water and bread service were prompt and very friendly. The restaurant is SO NOISY that we couldn't hear each other across the table, so not much conversation without having to increase our volume over the sounds bouncing off of every surface. We chose three appetizers and a shared entree. (1) poached pear salad: nice but Asian pear didn't belong, mushy pears, wrong season for the spices used- 2/5, (2) seared scallops: delicious! 3 delectable scallops topped perfectly with flaky sea salt, served a bit cool and accompaniments were not hot or cold, kinda strange- 4/5, (3) pork belly: crostini and pickles were a strange partnership to the pork belly, but it was okay- 3/5, (4) pork chop: oh dear... horrible, dry and tough, everything on the plate was unseasoned and all you could taste was cheese- 0/5. Second week since the opening. We had a great experience. Our waiter was Rahul snd he was a delight. We started with cocktails. The Aviation was delish, as was the Old Fashion. We each had glasses of wine with appetizers and entrees. For appetizers we had seared scallops and the heirloom tomato crostini with burrata. Both impressed. Entrees were the New York steak (tender and flavorful) and a short rib substitute for the lamb shank. I've never had such a large, off the bone, short rib. Perfectly cooked and with a great sauce. The lemon risotto was very tasty. We both had nice helpings of fresh vegetables. Thinking we needed it, we ordered bread, which is the brioche. A nice round, served hot, with clarified butter. It was really dessert. So, I didn't order the tiramisu. Next time. We took home leftovers. A lovely evening. Beautiful venue. read more

Love the Owner/Manager and Chef. Food is delicious. The layout is chaotic and several tables dropped silverware and one person dropped an entire dish. The tables are just too small and too many people walking by while we were eating. Our server was outright rude and ignored us most of the night. At one point he even came over because I complained. Instead of apologizing he proceeded to argue with me. I told him we can either argue and make the situation worse, or we can move on for a better dining experience. I May considering going back during a less chaotic time, but will never have that server anywhere near my table again. As a former fine dining server, I know what service should be. We rolled into town and came here for a late brunch because they got a mention in the LA Times. We did not know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is beautiful. We had seen the jazz trio prior at a different place long ago and were happy to see them again playing here. Calvin greeted us once we were seated, and he gave us great service. We started with tasty bloody marys. I love chilaqulies; that was the brunch special, so I ordered them. Without a doubt, the best I've had, one delectable flavor after another. My husband had the parchetto benedict and thought it was excellent. We liked this restaurant so much we came back with friends two days later for lunch. The salmon salad was delicately exquisite, the salmon perfectly cooked, and his seafood spaghetti was delicious. I've read reviews that the restaurant can be very loud; I understand why as they don't seem to have any sound baffles. We came late for brunch and early for lunch, and we had no problem having a conversation. so perhaps try that. We will be back again. read more

We stopped by the restaurant on a Wednesday evening around 7pm. It wasn't very crowded and the decor has been nicely updated from the previous restaurant. The cocktail menu was pretty good, with interesting drinks around $17 each. The appetizer and dinner menu was pretty varied. We ordered some calamari for $21 which was generous and delicious. The seared scallops had 3 scallops for $25 which seemed expensive. I ordered the striped bass for $41. It was well prepared and tasty. We ordered the bread for $9 and it was hardly enough for the table. Some of the other folks split the eye of round (not on the menu). The server didn't announce the price which turned out to surprise us all at $145 when the bill came. We shared the espresso creme brûlée which was delicious. Overall, the food was good, but the value just isn't there for me. read more

We were in town to visit the wineries, googled restaurants in area and went to dinner at Parchetto. Very disappointing as the food was completely over salted and not fresh. Ordered Oysters on the half shell, had to send back, were milky in appearance, was told they were from East coast?? The Manager did come talk to us and asked questions Thank You, very apologetic. This close to Ocean why East Coast? Replaced with Scallops that were the size of a quarter and were over salted. My husband ordered Duck, the cook on it was beautiful but over salted. I ordered Filet, Rare cook, cooked beautifully but over salted as well without any Beef flavor. I asked how long they had been open and it was said about a month. OK that makes sense. The Ambiance is beautiful, our waiter was cordial. Don't think we will come back. read more
