Draft beer and the empty container for the pace that went with our bread
    Megan K.

We came in as a group of four last minute on a Sunday that happened to be Father's Day. We called ahead about 15 minutes and they were able to give us a reservation. They had some awesome specials, including a portion of a tomahawk for Father's Day and eat pasta, which is not my favorite so we skipped it. We did the Italian empanada, which honestly was more Brazilian or Mexican so not super excited about that. However, my husband ordered the pork chop, and the three of us had different types of pasta. They were amazing and the noodles were fresh meat and yet all three of our pastas tasted completely different. Absolutely recommend. They also gave us a interesting tomato almond paste to go with our bread when we started, which was also great. We ordered the crème brûlée and to say I'm picky about it is an understatement. We ate the whole thing and did not have to send it back. Can't wait to come back and try something different.

Wow!! Staff and food were absolutely incredible. We were guests of a local winery and was blown away by our entire experience. I want to come back.

My husband and I really enjoyed spending our Valentine's Day 2026 dinner at Sabor & Sazon. The restaurant was packed, as expected, but we did not have to wait when we arrived as we already had a reservation. The dining and bar area is in one large open space, so it was loud and lively. The restaurant is mostly made up of moveable tables and chairs, however one wall has banquet table seating. The hardwood floors, flat walls, and high ceiling with minimal sound absorption panels really created a loud space (not a quiet and intimate night). The service was wonderful. We were welcomed promptly by our server and the assistant waiter brought bread & butter immediately after the welcome. I ordered a glass of wine and my husband had a lovely cocktail. We started with the Grilled Calamari - a delicious medley of scallops, shrimp, and calamari. Then we mixed to the savory Rack of Lamb - lamb with a red wine sauce and served with asparagus and mashed potatoes. And then we ended the evening with the decadent Tarta de Chocolate that was accompanied by a scoop of vanilla ice cream - a must order. During the evening, the son of Chef Jorge introduced himself and checked in on our experience - such a nice young man. I also believe another one is Chef Jorge's children was also working that evening in the restaurant. We enjoyed this lively Valentine's Day dinner. Save room for the Tarta de Chocolate.

    Squid Ink Pasta

We started our weekend trip here at Sabor & Sazon and it was incredible. We arrived at 7:45pm for Friday night dinner. We were greeted and seated I immediately. I'm not going to lie, because of the name and having paella on the menu, I was expecting more Spanish food on the menu and less Italian. We ordered the paella and the squid ink pasta special. The paella had so much seafood and tasted great. The grains of rice used did make the paella a bit mushier than authentic paella but that's asking a lot for Paso Robles. The squid ink pasta I wish was in their regular menu it was creamy and loaded with shrimp. The pasta had a very good bite to it. For the rest on the weekend, when we mentioned this restaurant to the locals everyone said it was their favorite restaurant in Paso!

Yelp suggested Sabor & Sazón. And then our tasting guide at Serial, Sean, suggested it as well. And both were remarkably accurate. We had the grilled calamari as suggested as well as the shrimp pasta (I forget the actual name). They were both excellent and without peer. Service was outstanding from reservation to dinner. Mahalo nui.

Ossobuco with risotto was the best I've had!
    Chris T.

We did a walk-in on a Sunday evening and we were seated no problem. After a busy weekend I wanted some comfort food so I ordered the osso buco with risotto and it was fantastic! Perfectly balanced and prepared and the risotto was excellent with it. It was the best ossobuco I've ever had. The barramundi was also great. Service has always been top notch. Thank you Sabor & Sazon!

We came here for dinner on a Saturday night! Would recommend making a reservation because it can get pretty busy here. We made reservation at 8:15 but ended up joining waitlist for 7:30 instead and got bar seating which we highly recommend! The bartender and our waiter, Albany was amazing! He was so fun and nice. Me and my friend shared the grilled calamari and a seafood paella. They served bread with this amazing dip; not sure what it was but it was soooo good - flavorful and creamy! The grilled calamari was seriously delicious and we killed the dish. The calamari was so tender and flavored to perfection. They had generous amounts over arugula for a warm salad like dish. The complimentary bread was amazing dipped in the sauce too. The seafood paella was also so good. Slight char at bottom with the perfect texture and flavors. Super hearty and seafood forward; tasted like the ocean lol (in a good way). Albany was so nice and gave us a flan dessert on the house because my friend kept asking him what every dessert was when the kitchen brought it out haha. He was so nice and let us hit our sweet cravings despite us being so stuffed to order some ourselves lol Will definitely come again and try their pasta dishes next time. Loved the entire experience here.

    Corn Soufflé
    Laila S.

The lobster ravioli was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful filling that really stood out. The corn soufflé was just as amazing, light, slightly sweet, and the perfect complement to the meal. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The ambiance was so cute and cozy, especially being right in Paso Robles' downtown area. It made for such a great dining experience and a perfect spot for a nice meal out. What really made the visit even better was the customer service. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating, which made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. Overall, such a wonderful experience with amazing food, great service, and a charming atmosphere. I would definitely come back again!

We visited here on 02/14/2026 at 8pm for a party of two. This was our first time at this restaurant. The restaurant is casual; however, yet classy at the same time. It is on the smaller side; however, holds quite a few people. We arrived about 20 minutes earlier than our reservation and the host made sure that she was able to accommodate our request and seat us early. Our server was very friendly, and one of the owners even made an appearance and made sure everything was going smoothly. We decided to share the Grilled Calamari and the Rack of Lamb. Both were quite good. For dessert, we shared the Tarte de Chocolate, which was excellent and we thought was the highlight of the meal. Overall, a 4 to 5 out of 5 experience, and we would return again in the future.

    Lomo Saltado
    Jamie S.

We arrived around noon for lunch and had our choice of tables. The restaurant is well appointed and very clean. The service was excellent. Our waters were refilled without asking and plates were cleared promptly. The calamari was very tender. There were no chewy pieces and the sauces were tasty. I had the Lomo Saltado. It was delicious and the perfect portion size. The fries were crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The Sausage Fettuccini had just the right amount of spice. The sausage was plentiful and delicious. The fettuccini was housemade and cooked to perfection. This was our first visit here. Our server brought us a delectable dessert on the house which was such a thoughtful and welcome surprise. We look forward to our next visit for dinner.

    Lobster with home-made pasta special
    James S.

Yes, it's absolutely all that. Having read all these 5 Star reviews, I was drawn, nay, driven to visit -- and am very glad to have done so. Made a reservation and were seated quickly inside the bustling but organized restaurant. Comfortable booth, lighting a little dim (for photos), but nice. Their phone system leaves something to be desired but that's another matter. Check out the menus, but do listen to the specials. We started with a scallop appetizer that delighted. Three sea scallops resting atop a light seemingly cream-based sauce (it wasn't on the menu). Bottom line, though, they were wonderful. I wish they were a tad hotter, but the flavors and perfect texture render my wish a quibble. We also split the Caesar Salad (Romaine lettuce, Croutons, Parmesan Cheese with Caesar Dressing). Crisp, fresh, and though mild in the anchovy flavor, still very good and perfect to share. For entrees, the lobster special was fantastic, and huge. Sitting atop a squid-ink home-made fettuccine that has also incorporated some of the lobster meat, the lobster is a dish to get excited about. Gorgeously presented, and simply delicious, bravo. Intermezzo: Special thanks to their sommelier who gave great advice when I was looking for a red to go with my entree. While I was lucky enough to snare a few bites of the lobster special, my main was the classic Peruvian dish, Lomo Saltado. Having only recently been introduced to the dish in downtown Los Angeles, I couldn't resist to try it here in a completely different setting. It, too, was delicious. Generous tri-trip (Harris Ranch Filet Mignon strips, soy sauce, ají amarillo, tomatoes) along with their French fries. The dish was great - full of flavor and substantial. The fries, oddly, missed. They were barely warm and had a dry, flaccid consistency - making me feel they had been cooked long ago. I did mention this to a server (not ours) and she asked if I'd like them re-done. I said 'sure', but nothing happened. The only other thing that struck me less than 5 Star was their phone system. About 10 minutes before our reservation, the restaurant called me about my reservation -- but for a different person. They were looking for 'Tyler'. I also found in trying to call the restaurant (for more details on the special app), nobody picks up. I've called during dining hours and the late morning. Both times, it rang forever and then a voice says the system is not set up for voicemail. Dessert is all in-house, and we adored the flan (Flan de Coco). Their homemade coconut flan is a just sweet-enough ending to a wonderfully flavorful meal. So, aside from the phone system and the fries, I'm very much in love with Sabor and Sazon.

The place was really busy. I could see several flat screen TVs over the bar playing the World Cup, and the bar was slammed. We dithered over the menu - they provided a drink menu and a food menu. I ended up ordering a Trio - which was comprised of a Spicy Tuna sandwich, a Baja Burger (which was also spicy) and their Garlic Fries, which were served with a dish of a very spicy garlic aioli sauce that my wife and I shared. My wife ordered a Duo with a Vacation Mode sandwich which featured pesto chicken, hummus, olive tappanade, and garlic aioli. She really liked her sandwich. She paired that (Duo you get 2) with a California Cowboy Cobb salad, which as you can see in the photos, was quite large. The food was served hot and fresh - the fries were very nice shoestring type, and were cooked properly. I have had "spicy" Tuna sandwiches before - this was the first one which was really spicy - it was perfect. A nice slab of seared tuna as well. The burger was just plain good. They call the burgers "sliders" because they are around 3 inches in diameter. If you have a larger appetite, figure it out. The drinks were good - I ordered the Old Fashioned (if you don't know what that is, try one) and my wife ordered the more exotic Beauty School Dropout, which had Crowbar Pink Gin, Elderflower liquer, lavender and honey syrup, lemon AND lime juice which was served in a chilled cut glass coup glass. Yes, I know I used "glass twice". It was very tangy and refreshing. The place has large doors which were open with seating both inside and outside. There were larger tables for larger groups. The pizza itself was pretty tasty; Moe's definitely doesn't skimp on the pepperoni or the pineapple for that matter, and the cheese, the sauce & the crust absolutely matched the vibe that the 2 main stars of the show were puttin' down. Had I done a little more research on this place prior to heading over and if I wasn't with my wife and kids, who ALWAYS just get pepperoni and pineapple, I probably would have opted for one of their Specialty Pies that actually sound pretty good and are different than I've ever seen before.... Maybe, Next time. Yeah, Specialty Pies such as their: Mo's Special: crispy chicken, ranch, Canadian bacon, mozzarella AND actual BACON!! Tell me that doesn't sound BOMB.com Also, if you are feeling a little Pizza from the East (and I'm not talking the East Coast)... Check out their Shawarma & Gyro Pizza! Their Pizza's do come in multiple sizes so no matter the size you need.... Moe's has you covered! 16" 14" 12" 10" And if you just need a taste, they sell by the Slice! Of course they offer other goodies to complement that pie, so don't be shy! Salads, cheesy bread, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, pasta, and a few different desserts including Baklava just to name a few! Now..... Turn off the 3 Stooges on Tubi, stop prank calling Moe's Tavern trying to impersonate Bart Simpson and get you little buns over to Moe's Pizza in Paso Robles and order that MO's Special and report back to me ASAP!!! And in the words of my guy Notorious B.I.G who reps the East, and definitely loved him some pizza... "Mo Money....Mo Problems"

The food came out quickly and tasted great, clearly not sitting around under a heat lamp. It's a small spot with only a few indoor tables, so more of a grab-and-go or casual lunch stop than a place to linger, but it works. Perfect for a quick, satisfying bite before hitting the road. Would I come back? Yup.

Here's what we ordered and our thoughts: Cam's Caesar 5/5- delicious Caesar. Not too much dressing, great textures Roasted beets 3/5- those that love beets enjoyed it but wanted more beets Gunpowder wings 4/5- very well cooked with delicious banchan Focaccia 5/5- perfectly cooked and salted Fried lasagne 5/5- unique and tasty but make sure to use the marinara generously, otherwise a little bland and dry Spring pea risotto 2/5- too much cheese, too salty Girl crush 5/5- overall consensus was "delicious" KFC 5/5- unique and such great flavors! Pairs perfectly with chili oil. One of the best slices of pizza I've ever had Will definitely continue to come back when in Paso...

The chicken was too thin and the pasta you could taste the smooth, lack of flavor, non Italy product. The vodka sauce was a lot thinner and lacking flavor of typical ones, back East. The pizza was also super thin and crust wasn't soft. The taste seemed like they didn't use 00 flour from Italy. The sauce tasted straight from the can and not developed at all. The cheese also could've been better. The Tiramisu was wonderful, creamy and I enjoyed it. The Service was wonderful! *The problem is, huge price for a lack of quality*
