We've always had an inground pool, and there was one waiting here for us. Our pool(s) have tended to be a little more complex ( salt systems, build in floor cleaning jets, built in hot tub, etc ) and service can be pretty complicated. We've used 4 different companies to help us with the pool, from opening/closing to replacing pumps, actuators, etc. All have worked hard, and none of them would rate less than a 4 here on Yelp, but Empire has been head and shoulders above. Nicole makes and keeps to an aggressive schedule, the pool is opened and closed on time, and I can go in and ask questions whenever I need to. They've recently had to do some equipment replacement, and yet again, the scheduling was a breeze and the cost was very reasonable. I recommend Empire to my friends, so I'll do it to my extended Yelp community as well.

Purchased a pool in late April, promised an install date of first week in Aug. As it got closer we checked in for our date and were told Namco no longer does installs! We were told they HAD to install it at first to get the warranty, but now they didn't and we had to call someone ourselves. Then, the associate at the store said he "knew someone" and gave us a number. No company or anything, just a random person to do a pool install. They never called back. Next we get a hold of corporate and turns out the DO installs again. We get a date, no show. We get a new date, no show. We were told the ground was too soft, but no one had seen our yard?? We finally got a date and the people show up. They tell me they don't pop fence panels to access the yard so I spend an hour fighting to pop a fence panel while they watch. When I finally get it open I am told they have to leave to do another job. They left and never came back or called or anything ever again. Returned the pool and am waiting for my refund when they get the pool back to the warehouse. They were awful quick to take my money that day but will take a week to get a refund?? Overall, no communication from anyone proactively. I had to call every time I wanted to check in and they would tell me what was happening. VERY POOR service from the installer, as we were trying to get a date we were called a liar and at times told to calm down because "I don't have your money Namco does". This pool sat in my garage all winter and never once was I told there may be install date issues until we walked in to the store.
