Maria and her family members who were running their restaurant! - Six people stand together inside Papi's Restaurant, a Latin American cuisine establishment. They are positioned in front of a wall with a neon sign that says 'Papi's Restaurant.' The interior features wooden paneling on the lower walls and a dark upper wall with a small plant hanging on the left. The group appears to be enjoying their time, with some smiling and one person holding a phone. The restaurant's kitchen area is partially visible on the right side of the image.

Our experience at this restaurant goes far beyond any restaurant experience I've had in my life. Each of the workers were excited to talk to us and get to know us, and we were excited to get to know them. My cousin will be living in Ecuador soon and they were so kind and excited for her, telling us all about Ecuador. Maria sat down with us to take our order and connect with us. We didn't get the names of the nice man who was playing music, or the cook, but we were able to talk and laugh with them a lot as well. I haven't even mentioned the food yet, which shows how amazing the people and atmosphere were, because the food was THE BEST I'VE HAD. We got the frittatas, and it was the best pork I've had in my life. The awesome man running the music was encouraging people to get up and dance and sing together. It really was the most exciting and joyful experience I've ever had in a restaurant. Thank you so so SO much!

Lomo Saltado so good! Could use a little more sauce and the fried egg but still very good!

The best ceviche I have ever had!!!! I will definitely be back. The only negative thing I would say is the prices the cashier charged did not match the menu prices listed. I felt a little overcharged.

Food was ok as well service, this is a little gold mine that is not taking advantage of. We went at 1.30 pm approximately and they did not have several plates from the menu, appetizers and main plates, and is a Saturday. This business could be a lot better if they get a good management.

Fish Soup - A bowl of fish soup containing pieces of fish and vegetables in a yellowish broth is presented on a white plate. The soup is garnished with sliced pickled red onions and chopped herbs. The dish is placed on a wooden table, with a black menu partially visible in the background.

Papi's is definitely still getting up and going, but that said, I've never walked into a local restaurant and been more taken care of. The love and care there made me feel as though I walked straight into their home. Karaoke was being set up, and I was being dragged right into the family culture to sing and eat. The fried rice was good, but OH MY GOSH their fish soup blew my mind!!! It was a new, bright, and tangy flavor I've never tasted and I would now recommend it to everyone. There are a few kinks that will hopefully get worked out with time being open, but this is a place I hope will last and I will definitely be returning to.

Amazing service and food! Tasted like authentic Ecuadorian and Peruvian food. If you've lived in Ecuador or Peru it'll bring back the nostalgic instantly! I had mutual friends with the cooks and they were so sweet to talk with me. 100% would recommend. It is a little pricey but worth the quality that you can't get anywhere else nearby! Perfect place to meet up with mission friends and reminisce

Inside a restaurant, four people are seated at a table, engaging in conversation and using their phones. The background features a wooden wall with a large sign spelling "PAPI'S" in bold letters, flanked by green plants. The lighting is warm, and the setting appears casual and inviting.

Really fun place with incredible atmosphere and flavor!! Definitely worth checking out... the owner is friendly and passionate.

The food was amazing, it definitely tastes authentic, great to finally have a place like this. Good Ecuadorian food is hard to find.

Beware of this restaurant, extremely dishonest management…read more The management at this location deserves zero stars. If you are using a coupon, be prepared to be misled and treated poorly. We used a Starving Student coupon before at the Provo location without any issues. This time, we used the same coupon at the Orem location. The deal clearly states Buy 1 entrée, get 1 free (saving $17.99), as shown in the screenshots. We ordered two half-chicken entrées. The cashier scanned the coupon, charged us, and told us the wait time would be about 20 minutes. At no point were we told there were any restrictions. After waiting 20 minutes, the cashier brought out the food and then informed us that "the boss's mom said" that because we used a coupon, we were only allowed ¼ chicken, not half. This was never disclosed when we ordered, and directly contradicts both the coupon and our previous experience at the Provo location. We were told this was a "new rule." This is misleading, dishonest, and false advertising. I asked to speak directly with the boss's mom, but she refused to come out and instead hid in the kitchen, sending the employee to act as a mediator. We were then told she "doesn't speak English." Ironically, my husband speaks Spanish and suddenly she was "too busy" to speak to us at all. This is an unacceptable way to treat customers. The cashier at the front was the only helpful and professional person there. She even disagreed with the situation, but could not approve a refund without a manager. She had to call twice before we finally received our refund. Bottom line: If you don't want to honor a deal, don't offer it. This is false advertising and completely unethical. Hiding in the kitchen instead of addressing customers is unprofessional and embarrassing for a business. This restaurant should either honor the Starving Student deal as advertised or remove it entirely. I'm posting this so others don't go through the same experience. I will not support a business that operates like this. This review will also be sent directly to the restaurant's management team and to Starving Student's management.

Really bummed about how Red Fuego is now vs what they used to be. Prices have gone up. Quality and…read moreservice have gone down. Probably won't be going back anymore.
