    Cachapa Fried Pork and Cheese

I love this place. The food is what I'd consider high quality, and it is so good. When I come here, I want to try everything. The portions are so large for me that I can only eat one plate. It's always clean inside and the decor is fun to look at. The cashier is always friendly and the food comes out fresh.

Such a fun place to visit! And tasty too. The decor is creative and helps you feel like you're in Venezuela. The people are friendly and courteous. The amount of food you get is really a lot. So many varieties and different combinations. Like who would have thought potato and cheese empanada would be awesome? But it is. I think my favorites are the tequenos. Get the guava and cheese. You'll thank me later.

I was so excited to finally try Arempas! I love trying new food and this place didn't disappoint! I tried both the Pabellon Arempa and an Empanada. The Arempa was really yummy and surprisingly a lot of food! I shared it with a friend and was happy that I did that because it was a lot of the same thing, but it was tasty! We also shared the empanada, which was HUGE! I definitely recommend sharing that as well. It was good but very greasy and not my favorite type of empanada that I've had. The food is good but it's also pretty pricey. I'm really glad I tried it, but I'm not dying to come back all the time. It's a great option though for anyone looking for some good Venezuelan cuisine!

I love this place especially with it being ALL gluten free! Everything is made and fried fresh. The empanadas are great for value, packed with filling and huge. I highly recommend the pabellon flavor! The arempa was quite good as well but more pricy for a similar size. Both sauces are great and must be drizzled on the food. Great service and ambiance.

The food was ok. I thought the chicken that came in my arepas didn't taste like chicken. I don't think this place is a must try if you are in Orem. Maybe the one in salt lake is better.

Cannot believe I hadn't tried Arempas sooner!! Their arepas are incredibly delicious and such good portions! They have so many different options that you can choose from. We ordered a Pabellón and a Peluda. The cashier told me that the Pabellón was the most popular one. It has shredded beef, fried plantain and beans with cheese. It was absolutely delicious! If you love fried plantain like I do, this is definitely the one for you. The Peluda has shredded beef, tomato, lettuce, and cheese (and some sauces). They were both really good!! We also ordered some Yuca with Fried Pork and it was so so so good!!!! Their yuca was perfectly fried and it threw me back to living in South America (and all the good feels). For dessert, we tried some Quesillo which is very much like flan, and we were not disappointed. Overall, we paid about $42 for both arepas and the yuca with pork. I signed up for their rewards on that order, and when I went back for the flan, I was able to use my points to get it for free, so I think we got a good deal. The portions and taste are, for sure, worth the price. And last, but definitely not least, I absolutely LOVED the kindness of the people working here. Amazing staff!!

Arempas has the secret sauce. No, literally. I am an avid ranch dressing lover to the point that I would get Steve Henson's face tattooed on my forehead. When one of my coworkers, who is from Venezuela, found out about my ranch dressing obsession, he claimed that he had a sauce that is better. The sauce he was referring to was the garlic sauce that is served at Arempas. Now, I think the world will explode if I say which one I think is better so I will say this: traditional American ranch dressing and the garlic sauce from Arempas are equal. Which still says so much considering ranch is the best condiment in the whole wide world and nothing has ever even come this close. On the specific day that I came into Arempas, I decided I wanted to drown their tequenos in the garlic sauce so I started off with a few of those. I also got a catira arepa which was absolutely delicious. The food came out fast but you could also tell that it was fresh and made-to-order. I love that I have a whole bottle of the garlic sauce but that's also dangerous when I love it so much ;) My favorite drink is the passion fruit juice but they also have an assortment of other drinks including fountain drinks to choose from. Inside this Arempas location, they have plenty of seating but you can also tell they have put an immense amount of effort into the design of the restaurant. They have wall art and a wonderful theme based around the Venezuelan culture. Another awesome perk to this Arempas location is that they are on mall property so it's super easy to find an excuse to go. You can visit all the shops and even get your groceries nearby during your trip over to Arempas. If you have not been to Arempas yet, you definitely need to go because they are amazing!

The Arempas in SLC has been on my bookmark list for a while now, but I just haven't been able to make it up there. I was stoked to see that they were opening on closer to me here in Utah County. I loved Arempas! Flavors were fresh and fun. Menu was exciting. Food was good quality. The folks here were kind. A GREAT option for Venezuelan food. It's lacking one star only because I'm not dying to come back everyday. I liked it and am glad we tried it. I recommend it to you, my Yelp friends. I'm just not dropping everything to come back here as quickly as possible.

Been to the Arempas in SLC. Both similar, yet different vibes. Taste of food is great! Orem Arempas, as soon as you walk in, nice salsa music playing in the background not too loud, so you can actually carry a conversation without having to yell. Menus are up by the register where you make your order. These arepas actually have a lot of food inside which makes it filling and worth it. My only complain for the one less star, I personally can't justify $13.50 for an arepa. Or $9 for 6 tequeños... All my Venezuelan friends think I'm crazy for spending that much! Also, beware, if you're not wanting to leave a tip. When you check out, and have to sign to pay, the screen is already at a 20% tip. So make sure you change it before you sign.

Delicious Arepa's and other Venezuelan foods and dishes! Also loved the tequenos chocolate filled dessert! The service was kind and helpful since it was my first time! The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating! Cant wait to go back and try something else!

Very impressive! I'm on board with calling this the best Venezuelan food in Utah Valley. If you aren't familiar with the selection, the Reina Pepiada will do the trick. One arepa is plenty for a moderately hungry person. I'd come back for sure.

I've been here twice now and loved it both times. I'll be back. The steak was the bomb.

DELICIOUS food, friendly staff. And it feels like a part of Venezuela plunked into the mall. In a good way.

Fairly basic on the inside with dark wooden tables and not much light. That said it was cozy and we were very comfortable. The meals are very large. My wife ordered Picada Reina Lucero, which had several varieties of meat, white cheese, tartar sauce on top and two sides of other sauces, one a chunky green sauce and a smooth white sauce that mostly tasted like salty butter. The meat was piled on top of fried arepas. My BIL ordered a half chicken and an empanada with pork. The empanada was large and the pork filling was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I ordered the De La Casa Arepones with shredded beef. Ham, cheese and sauce were served along with the delicious shredded beef. This is the only item we ordered that could be considered as a single serving, but even at that it was a lot of food. If I'm in the area I will not hesitate to stop in again and explore more of their menu.

They are huge, one could feed 3 people. I had the chriozo, but it was like hillshire smoked sausage. I would say get the chicken with smoked meats and fried pork. Pass on the Tostones, they were not fried, they were baked and very dry so pass on those. Place has a cool vibe, and decor. You can bring a marker and write on the wall.
