Busy restaurant but still good service, casual dining. Good food. Everything was delicious, SERVICE CHARGE included so i just added a little cash tips.

The food was amazing fresh flavorful with every bite. Service was quick. It was a chill vibe a lot of people they were playing football (aka soccer games on the tvs).

Funny how I found out about this place. There was a plumber (Enzo) that went to my friend's house to replace a garbage disposal. As he was finishing up I asked him where he was from? He said he was from Venezuela. Then asked him if he knew of any Venezuelan restaurant with excellent tasting food? Never had it before and was so excited to try it! Went with my brother and his wife and luckily she spoke Spanish. We ordered one of everything (I think) and they also had a Christmas combo item we got as well. Surprised how different everything was and had a small Mexican similarity to tamales but that is where it ended. Service was fast and fun, the server kept laughing and making fun of us for ordering so much food. He also took us on a tour to the other side of the building were they are building a larger dining room. For sure will be back as I love different, unique, and flavorful with attentive service.

    Parrillada Venezolana

The greater Salt Lake City metropolitan area continues to surprise me, in a good way. I decided to try out this place, and their food. I forgot that "A lo Maracucho" tends to be Venezuelan for big, bold, and in your face. I ordered the tostones, expecting a handful of small plantain discs. Nope. It was one disc, approximately the size of a small pizza, crispy and cut into wedges, served with Venezuelan white sauce and salty cheese. The menu claims it is an appetizer, for many it could be a meal in itself. The parrillada plate was also good, but big. Unfortunately my hotel room did not have a refrigerator for my leftovers. I saw they sold pastelitos, tequeños, arepas, and cachapas. All looked good, but BIG. Maybe next time I am in town. The place is authentic Venezuelan, and has a little shop with Venezuelan snacks and small items for those missing the old country. The meal woud have been perfect with a Venezuelan beer, but I did not see that offered.

Great value for great food. I got the Street Burger with smoked pork, ham and all the fixings. Great service and great variety of Venezuelan options that are amazing. If your looking for a change, I highly recommend this

    Beef Arepa - so good!

I've had this place bookmarked for a long time. One of my Venezuelan/Colombian buddy highly recommended this restaurant for their Patacon and Arepa and I finally got my butt to come here today. Boy was I glad I did. My son and I went on a Sunday morning around 1030am and the place was already busy. The nice cashier lady got someone who spoke English to come and help take our order. She was very nice and helpful. We only waited briefly for our food while enjoying the salsa music on stage. We got home and was pleasantly surprised how nicely packed our food was. The Arepas were out of this world, and their Patacon was to die for. Love the yellow plantain in this dish. Overall a very good experience for us. I highly encourage you to give this place a try.

Food and service was excellent. They provide menus in English and Spanish & servers are very attentive.

Wow! It was like being back in Venezuela with my family! It is all Venezuela from the food, drinks, decoration & set up, to the service! They even collect things to send to Venezuela to help & feed. Everything we had was delicious. I hope they start selling the Venezuela style hot dogs soon & arepas! Oh, & fruit drinks with milk! Fingers crossed! ¡Guauu! ¡Dedos cruzados!

What a gem! My husband and I went here on a friends recommendation then took our kids back a few days later. The food was delicious and the service was superb. Romulo was so attentive and fun. He even posed for a photo. Reminiscent of one of the cute cafes we frequented in Mexico, we will definitely be back!

Fairly basic on the inside with dark wooden tables and not much light. That said it was cozy and we were very comfortable. The meals are very large. My wife ordered Picada Reina Lucero, which had several varieties of meat, white cheese, tartar sauce on top and two sides of other sauces, one a chunky green sauce and a smooth white sauce that mostly tasted like salty butter. The meat was piled on top of fried arepas. My BIL ordered a half chicken and an empanada with pork. The empanada was large and the pork filling was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I ordered the De La Casa Arepones with shredded beef. Ham, cheese and sauce were served along with the delicious shredded beef. This is the only item we ordered that could be considered as a single serving, but even at that it was a lot of food. If I'm in the area I will not hesitate to stop in again and explore more of their menu.

They are huge, one could feed 3 people. I had the chriozo, but it was like hillshire smoked sausage. I would say get the chicken with smoked meats and fried pork. Pass on the Tostones, they were not fried, they were baked and very dry so pass on those. Place has a cool vibe, and decor. You can bring a marker and write on the wall.
