My wife ordered Picada Reina Lucero, which had several varieties of meat, white cheese, tartar sauce on top and two sides of other sauces, one a chunky green sauce and a smooth white sauce that mostly tasted like salty butter. The meat was piled on top of fried arepas. My BIL ordered a half chicken and an empanada with pork. The empanada was large and the pork filling was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I ordered the De La Casa Arepones with shredded beef. Ham, cheese and sauce were served along with the delicious shredded beef. This is the only item we ordered that could be considered as a single serving, but even at that it was a lot of food. If I'm in the area I will not hesitate to stop in again and explore more of their menu.

I came originally having had arepas and empanadas elsewhere in the Venezuelan style, and have since been introduced to other items such as cachapas. Everything is good, and portions are plentiful. Friendly, welcoming service, and great vibe, especially when there is a soccer match on television. This time I got an assortment of mini arepas. There is garlic sauce at the table which goes well.
