Fairly basic on the inside with dark wooden tables and not much light. That said it was cozy and we were very comfortable. The meals are very large. My wife ordered Picada Reina Lucero, which had several varieties of meat, white cheese, tartar sauce on top and two sides of other sauces, one a chunky green sauce and a smooth white sauce that mostly tasted like salty butter. The meat was piled on top of fried arepas. My BIL ordered a half chicken and an empanada with pork. The empanada was large and the pork filling was delicious. The chicken was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I ordered the De La Casa Arepones with shredded beef. Ham, cheese and sauce were served along with the delicious shredded beef. They are huge, one could feed 3 people. I had the chriozo, but it was like hillshire smoked sausage. I would say get the chicken with smoked meats and fried pork. Pass on the Tostones, they were not fried, they were baked and very dry so pass on those. Place has a cool vibe, and decor. You can bring a marker and write on the wall.
