We came here with a group of 8 a few weeks ago spur of the moment on a Friday night and had a great time! The employees, while few, were SO kind and professional. They put a lot of love into their craft! The restaurant is beautifully and authentically decorated, and there are a lot of tables! I am not that familiar with Peruvian food, but family members that ate with me said that the food had been better in the past. Our server was very helpful and friendly and ensured that we did not have to wait to be seated or to get our beverages. The food all came out together and was appropriately hot or cold. Prices were a bit higher than I would have expected for a restaurant of this caliber, We ate at a similar Mexican restaurant yesterday and the prices there were about 25% lower for similar entrees. I might try different Peruvian restaurants in the past, though would return if there were no other similar restaurants to choose from. read more

My hair and clothes are infused with the smell of the restaurant, and my eyes are a little irritated. - The food is overpriced. Came here again to see if last time was just a bad experience or the wrong dish for me. I had the saltado mixto this time around and I felt that it was worth what I paid for it and was quite tasty. My wife says that the tilapia that she had was the best she can remember ever having, but what accompanied the tilapia was kind of unremarkable otherwise. We ended up having a piece of tres leches, but it wasn't very impressive either. Go here for the chicha morada and the saltado mixto, they are both worth the visit and are delicious. Portions: Good Price: A bit expensive Taste: okay Now for the rest. When we walked in here, it looked like it was foggy inside! Obviously all the steam form the kitchen. And we walked out of there smelling like food! The temperature of the restaurant was actually hot and we were sitting close a vent, wife and I were sweating as we tried to eat. Bathrooms, disgusting, the toilet was clogged and the urinal, you don't wanna know. One of the sinks to was your hands was clogged with nasty water. And to top it off, felt like you were in an oven in that bathroom, super hot in there! (Sorry if TMI) The service was.. mediocre, as you can see from my pictures, the only 2 servers here were playing on their phones. (Mind you that there were plenty of tables that needed to be cleaned and people to be served) I had to ask for my water to be refilled. Which in my book, an empty glass is a BIG no no. Our server was nice however. We have been going here for many years. We have always loved their food. One of our favorites is the pollo asada (rotisserie chicken) it is a whole chicken that comes with a salad and an order of fries. We often get at least two or three orders and get it for pickup and bring it home and then after we eat the chicken we make chicken stock out of the carcass and the way it is seasoned it makes the perfect chicken soup.
