This my second visit since they opened. Usually get take out b/c wait times was crazy. But came Friday at 2:20 pm and it was no wait and food was served in a timely manner. Food quality and service has risen since last visit. Also the ambiance is nice and welcoming . Only thing I would say is they need high chairs for the babies/toddlers. Spicy chicken fries was very good but felt like it was missing something. It was just sauce fires and chicken and cheese. Music selection on point with throwback hip-hop r&b . My boyfriend and I always come here when we're craving Birria; There is a variety of options available such as Birria grilled cheese, Birria ramen, Birria fries. They're also known for their spicy chicken sandwiches and fries. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the daily specials and it's Filipina owned! I saw the daily special was a Silog plate (Filipino breakfast rice plate) and I had to try it along with a spicy chicken sandwich. The Silog plate came with House marinated tocino, spam, AND longanisa for $13!! It was affordable and not to mention it tasted a lot better than any Seafood City breakfast plate. Daughter brought me here recommended by TikTok. I ordered a Ramen Birria soup and was just okay. Broth was a bit salty. I was given no lemons, hot sauce. The noodles were still a little uncooked and the soup temperature was more warm than hot. My daughter ordered the grilled cheese birria, which did not come with the broth. So I had to request a side of it to dip the sandwich. The restaurant itself was more of a takeout. The environment was cold. The employees were hard to talk to behind the high wall, unless I stand in front of cashier. Let me just say, I have not come in person to eat yet, but I always order from DoorDash while I'm at work lol. Basically everything I've tried is 100000/10. 03/29/29- As what the hype of the crowd says, I say- I must Try! Went here for their famous Dubai strawberry chocolate and while I was there, tried their quesabirria, too. Located in somehat a little bit small, sketchy plaza. Plenty of parking outside. Service is friendly and cool, I am guessing Filipino owned restaurant. Lemme describe the taste of their famous Dubai chocolate strawberry. First thing I'd like to point out is the use of dark chocolate over the pistachio mixture tops of the bittery taste of everything. I was expecting more of a milk chocolate (not the super sweet kind, but the high quality ones that does tastes like chocolate and not dark). I thought there would be bits n pieces of crushed pistachio but it was just a creamy pistachio sauce. 10$ for the small cup. I also requested for a customized one with just strawberry and chocolate and the guy gladly did my request. Again, the chocolate is dark, so it was bitter, unable to finish it. Next, is the quesabirria quesadilla for 14.50$, I think. 3 people can share this due to its' size and the taste was just okay. Nothing special but it's like a typical birria from other Mexican spot. I am unsure if they really don't include consome or they just forgot on mines. I had to ask for one and the guy with long hair, Filipino, gave it. The taco birria, $3.50 was also just okay for my liking. Those items were just additional since my main point of going here is for the Dubai chocolate. I thought they also sell dubai chocolate bars, but the guy said they don't have. And the area where you pick up the order is confusing due to the height of the front counter. I can hear they are calling my order is ready but I can't see the guy passed the high border/counter so I had to go to the front cashier but it turns out- it was indeed on the boarded left side. I can't even see who's giving me the food on the other side. This business has so much potential especially now that they are being known. And once you're known, the public goes wherever the business might be. It needs improvement on the establishment itself. They need to have a pick up counter visible to both sides (customer and kitchen). Have the name made permanently on the outside and not just a black banner with its' name covering the old business' name that used to be there. Can invest for a spoon/fork/knife holder that's enclosed and not just a plastic container with plastic forks inside. Anyone can just slip up a used fork there, then the next customer can just take it without even knowing it was used. Just a few suggestions for a better/sanitary restaurant. This is a counter serve restaurant, meaning order at the counter and you take the food to your table or to go. The counter is bit high, for shorty like me. And we can't really see the staff. I'd love to see them work their magic in the kitchen. The restaurant is tiny maybe 6 tables inside. It's cute but still need a bit more TLC. I liked the vibe in there, the music, the food, the people. Very lively and the music they play...is my jam! Now for the good stuff. The food, is obviously amazing! If I used to go to their house to get it. I'm definitely ordering here. This time I ordered the chicken and French toast! If you like salty n sweet this is for you! Ever since I started working in Concord, Papi Clary's Kitchen has been my go to for when I didn't bring lunch! Ordering is so easy and simple! I just call, let them know my order and time of pick up then once I'm there, it's almost always ready on time! My last few visits, I had their chicken bowl special and chicken and fries special. Have had Papi Clary's Kitchen bookmarked for awhile now and finally got the chance to try their spicy chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, the sandwiches we ordered looked nothing like all the amazing photos on Instagram/ social media. While the mango coleslaw was delicious and the spicy aioli had just the right kick, the actual chicken breast was filleted into thin pieces, overcooked, dry as all get out and missing any kind of breading. It had that fried in overused cooking oil quality about it where the breading slips right off, if you fry too many pieces of fried chicken in one go. Super disappointing as all the spicy chicken sandwiches I've seen on IG/Yelp have looked incredible. We came in around 3:45-4:00 p.m. so not sure if the weird in between time was what was thrown off. Anyhow, still want to come back and try the other menu items and update my review. I really enjoyed eating here with some coworkers! I ordered the ube horchata (comes in large size only) and half birria half spicy chicken fries. I loved the birria fries but I would dock half a point on the chicken since it wasn't as crispy or spicy as I thought it would be. I love ube and I really loved their ube horchata!! When for the first time after hearing so many people rave about it. I asked for the "secret" menu Keto Birria Tacos for me and a Birria Quesadilla for my friends. This is a HIT location for the Spicy Chicken Sandwich! This location is just off Highway 242 off Solano. This location has great freeway access and ample parking out front. The interior is very similar to the taqueria that was there previously. There's not much to the design detail on the side; however, there are high tables, bar stool seats and regular chairs for patrons to sit at. The order and pick-up areas are surrounded by tall divider walls so would pose a challenge to shorter people. I ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches and one birria grilled cheese. The chicken sandwich was flavored just perfect. Beyond the meat, I think my favorite part was the slaw that had jicama in it, too (I think). It was crunchy, fresh and wasn't watery like other places that turns into a wet sandwich. Executed wonderfully! For the birria grilled cheese, I enjoyed it with the side sauce they give. My one critic was the grilled cheese should've been better grilled where it forms a toasted/crunchy exterior. The birria and fixings were really tasty otherwise. Their food just makes you feel good and it is always consistent plus their staff is always super nice. This time around we tried their Mulita and the Mac and cheese. You just can't go wrong. Saw this on my IG feed and recs from friends so I made it here after a morning of disc golfing. Arrived here about 30 mins past opening and the line was out the door. After waiting in line for 20 mins my order was placed and waited another 15 mins. It's a small establishment so seating and standing room is limited therefore you'll have to wait outside. The staff is very pleasant and patient so that made the experience a bit better. Orders two Birria Tacos, Mulita and a pineapple Fresca. Once the food arrived, I was so hungry that I didn't really enjoy it as I devoured it within minutes. However the Fresca was delicious and not overly sweet. The Birrias and Mulita was very juicy but not as great as I had at other places in the South Bay.
