In town for work and craving a taste of home (I'm from San Diego, so I'm used to great Filipino spots), I decided to try Mama's Lumpia and it definitely satisfied the craving. I ordered the 3-combo plate with lumpia, adobo wings, lechon kawali, and adobo rice. The flavors were all there, especially on the meats. If I had one suggestion, it would be texture: the lechon kawali and wings could be a bit crispier, and the rice was slightly on the softer side. Small tweaks that could really elevate the dishes. It's more of a grab-and-go spot with limited seating, but the service is warm and friendly, exactly what you hope for at a Filipino restaurant. Seriously unimpressed with the customer service I received. It was like we were invisible. Three employees were just standing there chatting amongst themselves. No one even bothered to ask what we wanted or if we needed help. We ended up having to use the self-service kiosk instead. It's a real shame when you go somewhere and feel completely ignored. I'm a big fan of lumpia and had seen Mama's Lumpia pop up at different times and had been planning on dropping in for awhile. I was in the area and my wife wanted me to get some crispy pata from Grill City. Grill City didn't have any crispy pata and I knew Mama's Lumpia wasn't too far away so off I went. My wife decided to do a combo with vegetable lumpia and lechon kawali. I decided to go with a 12 piece order of Shanghai lumpia. The food is good, the lumpia is pre-cooked but they give it a quick fry before serving so it is crunchy and hot which is nice. My wife said the vegetable lumpia and Lechon kawali were okay. I think they make the pork shanghai the traditional Filipino way with a Filipino sausage. I'm used to the Shanghai lumpia that has a more sweeter taste. Overall, nice family run business and good food. If you are craving something hot and crunchy try out the lumpia. Most other places have their lumpia under a heat lamp so it isn't crunchy or hot but rather slightly chewy. read more

I've had this spot saved for a while now and when one of the guys at work said he was going I hopped on board and they did not disappoint. They had the best garlic noodles and lechon and the lumpia was perfect especially with my yummy vinegar sauce. You can't sleep on their banana pudding either cause omg it is hella good and they even topped it off with the biscoff cookie. Service was top tier too. I haven't been to the restaurant, but I experienced food from Mama's Lumpia via takeout. I grew up eating Filipino food all my life, so I do have high expectations. Garlic Fried Rice, Lechon Kawali, Lumpia, and pancit were good. I recommend these dishes from what I've tried. The chicken adobo was different, and didn't quite appeal to me. Same with the Sisig... the texture of the meat was almost like corned beef, and I didn't love it. Other than that, the food was satisfactory. Need some lumpia for a potluck? Mama's Lumpia has your back. This is a nice little Filipino restaurant and I've been twice already. There aren't really any tables inside to sit and enjoy a meal, so plan on takeout. The food is pretty good and is decently priced. We ordered takeout from Mama's lumpia on several occasions and were always happy with our food! I recently ordered some items for Thanksgiving and my guests loved the food! I ordered lumpia, adobo wings and garlic noodles. I like that we can customize the wings to either wet or dry and also select seasonings as well. The large size of garlic noodles is a huge portion - I was a bit worried that it wasn't going to be enough but it was plenty for 4 adults. The one thing that my guests loved the most were the lumpia and I should have ordered more! Next time! Definitely a good local spot that I'll keep coming back to! read more

Ordered a 3 item plate which came with 6 regular sized wings, a scoop of sisig & 9 skinny lumpias for $30... The wings were okay sauce was a little to salty for me. I got the Milo Cold Brew which I thought was delicious! it reminded me of my childhood drinking milo chocolate milk. I've heard a lot about mama lumpia from friends and my husband and I finally got to try it! Even though it is to go. I'm so glad I did! The garlic noodles are AMAZING. Super garlicky and the right amount of grease which is a must! Their lumpia's are the perfect bite size with a good crisp and chew. We also had the pancit which wasn't my favorite but if rice noodles is your thing, you might like it! I also had the ube milk tea and it was a very strong flavorful of sweet ube just how I like it. Love Mama's Lumpia! I ordered from them before they had a storefront and I'm so glad I can drive down the street to get my craving! Their pork belly Sisig is top notch with some plain white rice mixed in. It can be a little greasy at times but the white rice soaks it in. The lumpia is perfectly crispy and hot, definitely try the mixed pork and chicken! Their pancit is classic too and my son loves eating it. They also have local vendor goodies like stickers or home made rice crispy treats which I pick up. Everyone is friendly and responsive to whatever you need. Following up with a pick-up catering review. I placed a catering order for an XL Garlic Noods (1 tray, serves 20 as a side dish) through their website. You fill out a catering form on the website. They email you by the following Tuesday to confirm your order, and then send you an invoice via email that you pay online in advance. This system worked fine for me, as I like to avoid phone calls, but if you prefer talking to a person on the phone when ordering catering, this form-to-email system is something to consider. Picking up my catering order was quick and easy on a Saturday afternoon, and the garlic noods were a huge hit at the Friendsgiving pot luck I attended! Mama's Lumpia has been on our radar for about a year now. I was in the neighborhood running errands, and couldn't resist popping in to see what the restaurant was all about. I knew for sure we had to order some lumpia, but it was also getting close to dinner time so more food was in order. I know $25 sounds like a lot, but it feels like you can't even get two hamburgers at a fast food place for that amount these days.
