Been craving some Filipino food but something quick and not too heavy. I've had this spot saved for a while now and when one of the guys at work said he was going I hopped on board and they did not disappoint. They had the best garlic noodles and lechon and the lumpia was perfect especially with my yummy vinegar sauce. You can't sleep on their banana pudding either cause omg it is hella good and they even topped it off with the biscoff cookie. Service was top tier too. I've come here a few times already and plan on making this a regular spot especially for the banana pudding!!!

I'm a big fan of lumpia and had seen Mama's Lumpia pop up at different times and had been planning on dropping in for awhile. I was in the area and my wife wanted me to get some crispy pata from Grill City. Grill City didn't have any crispy pata and I knew Mama's Lumpia wasn't too far away so off I went. My wife decided to do a combo with vegetable lumpia and lechon kawali. I decided to go with a 12 piece order of Shanghai lumpia. The food is good, the lumpia is pre-cooked but they give it a quick fry before serving so it is crunchy and hot which is nice. My wife said the vegetable lumpia and Lechon kawali were okay. I think they make the pork shanghai the traditional Filipino way with a Filipino sausage. I'm used to the Shanghai lumpia that has a more sweeter taste. Overall, nice family run business and good food. If you are craving something hot and crunchy try out the lumpia. Most other places have their lumpia under a heat lamp so it isn't crunchy or hot but rather slightly chewy.

I haven't been to the restaurant, but I experienced food from Mama's Lumpia via takeout. I grew up eating Filipino food all my life, so I do have high expectations. Garlic Fried Rice, Lechon Kawali, Lumpia, and pancit were good. I recommend these dishes from what I've tried. The chicken adobo was different, and didn't quite appeal to me. Same with the Sisig... the texture of the meat was almost like corned beef, and I didn't love it. Other than that, the food was satisfactory. Nothing over the top but definitely worth patronizing when you're craving Filipino food.

Need some lumpia for a potluck? Mama's Lumpia has your back. This is a nice little Filipino restaurant and I've been twice already. There aren't really any tables inside to sit and enjoy a meal, so plan on takeout. The food is pretty good and is decently priced. I haven't had an individual meal here (just catering) but I am looking forward to having one in the near future. I tried to Ube Milk Tea which wasn't bad. Their online ordering system works great. Thanks Mama!

After leaving sun valley mall I know I wanted a snack but I couldn't figure it out. After giving up and heading home I passed by this spot and pivoted last minute in hopes they had something fried and porky! S

Great lumpia , & garlic rice. Get the sweet chili sauce on the side, and it's a amazing meal

Lunch from Mama Lumpia in Pacheco. A huge tub of garlic noodles and pancit! Both packed with flavor (just wish the pancit had more veggies and meat). The chichen adobe was also great and brought back memories of our Philippines trip. And of course don't miss out on the crispy lumpia!

Finally got the chance to check out Mama's Lumpia a couple of months ago with my friend. I had already eaten prior so I just got a drink, but my friend grabbed lunch from here. I got the Milo Cold Brew which I thought was delicious! it reminded me of my childhood drinking milo chocolate milk. My friend got an Ube Milk Tea and an order of adobo and fried chicken adobo wings with lumpia. I think he enjoyed his food too. The place is cute but quite small. They only had one table, so it's more of a takeout spot. Overall, a nice spot to get some Filipino drinks and bites.

Good Filipino food. Some seating but more of a takeout spot. A little pricey but worth it to me. Cashiers always nice.

My first…read moreimpression walking into it was that the restaurant was surprisingly huge inside, and I loved how well air conditioned it was, especially on a hot day. Overall, the place felt very clean, tidy, and well organized. The service was also great and staff were friendly and welcoming, which was definitely a plus. Now, let's get to the food review. Original Sisig Kapampangan: Absolutely delicious. It was served on a hot plate and had a savory, creamy flavor (possibly from the mayonnaise) while still tasting a bit tangy once you squeezed lemon over it. I'd definitely order this again. Beef Brisket Kare Kare: I honestly thought I didn't like kare kare until I tried their version. The peanut sauce was rich and savory without tasting like peanut butter in a jar like Skippy. The beef was tender, and I also loved the assortment of vegetables included in the dish. What really took it to another level, though, was the bagoong sauce (on the side), which paired so well with this dish. This dish was absolutely yummy. Sizzling Beef Brisket Ala Pobre: We were really excited to try this because we'd heard great things about it, but unfortunately, it didn't really deliver. The flavor was pretty bland, and even though it was topped with fried garlic, it was still missing a strong garlic flavor. The beef itself was tender, which was probably the only good thing about the dish, but aside from that, the sauce and overall flavor were just underwhelming. Garlic Rice: This came in a pretty generous portion enough for three. I could definitely taste the garlic, but I think it could've used a little more. Still, it was good overall.

For the food, I wouldn't go more than 3 stars. Maybe it's just not to my taste. I only had Filipino…read morefood a handful of times. We ordered Sisig, chicaron, lumpia, adobo rice, chicken adobo. Everything is okay. Good, not returning for more. I can't really say I like the service very much as well. Slow in general. If you are Filipino, you get better service. Not saying they mean it that way, but a very obvious observation. The ambiance was great, we had a friend preforming live on their stage and the whole place was popping. Drinks are good, performances are great. Great place for a party, just not the food and service for me.

Just note, though it's called an oriental market, which is technically accurate, to be more specific this place is a Filipino spot, takeout food and the mini market wares included. Parking is pretty easy to find here even though it may not look it from the front, but there is parking to the side of the building and also in the back if needed, so keep that in mind, but most likely won't need to really use the back. While the place is actually decently sized, just note that the shelves are pretty bare and there's just not much actually on those shelves. Maybe just 1-3 bags of each item, and there's not many items there. Looking at past pictures, this may just be how it is now, but just be aware, it's less market now and probably more of just a takeout food place as that seems to be more of a focus here. They have a small selection of dishes which they told me they rotate every so often as far as specific dishes in the spots. There's not a huge selection, and if I were to compare it, I'd say their selection of food is about the same as if you went to Mama Lumpia's counter and that's basically where they're at. Not too much to choose from, so just know this going in if you're planning to takeout something. Pricing wise for the food, it's not too bad, but will be more expensive than some of the other options around, especially with it being takeout. But they do a good job stuff the container to the top, so that's a bit more helpful at least. Not expensive for Filipino food. Some of the stuff looked good, as I will go back and try some of them in the future, but today I decided to just go with the adobo pork. I feel the adobo pork was just okay. The flavors actually weren't too bad, and the meat was pretty tender and not dry, but the fat part I feel could have been cooked a bit more as it was too chewy for my liking, and not the best pork belly I've ever had for sure, and certainly not from a Filipino place. But again, portions were good. Will I be back? I can say I'm interested. As far as a market goes, it's really not much there, or at least not much there nowadays compared to pictures of the old, so probably wouldn't be my first option for market stuff when there's 99 Ranch and Seafood City around. Would I come back for the food takeout? That is probably more likely as I am interested in how their lumpia is, and perhaps try some of their pancit, or even the spaghetti which they didn't have on that particular day. See you around Oriental Market.

This is located is inside Seafood City similar to the one in Vallejo. There is a Jollibees, Valerios Bakery, a Pho restaurant, Goldilocks, and Chow King inside as well. There is also a small Filipino food spot hidden in the corner too, but I forgot the name of it. With Jollibees in the same vicinity, I was debating on grabbing food from there or Grill City. I decided to go with Grill City since the line was short. I was 2nd in line and the worker ignored me when it was my turn. I had to catch her attention a few times by waving in the air and snapping (lol) and after I raised my voice "Excuse me!" (in a polite manner of course), she finally acknowledged that I was there. I ordered a combo meal. After the worker put my two dish options in a container, I noticed that she put pancit (Filipino noodles) in a bigger container. I pointed it out to the worker, told her that I didn't order pancit, then corrected the fact that I wanted rice with the combo and not the noodles. She responded rudely, "You said you wanted pancit!" I replied, "I thought it comes with rice". I'm Filipino, so of course I wanted rice with my meal. Plus I thought it automatically comes with rice. To my surprise, she rolled her eyes at me and said that they don't have any rice. I was thinking, "Umm, ok...that's a first..." Then I asked her if I can just buy the 2 dishes à la carte. She once again responded in a rude manner, "We don't do that!". Then she told me that I had to wait longer for rice. My jaw literally dropped. I was taught to respect my elders so I politely said ok and waited patiently, despite her rude attitude. As I was waiting, I observed the customer behind me getting the same treatment. He looked irritated after he couldn't get the same worker's attention then walked away. After my food was ready, I picked up my food and walked over to the cashier. Guess what? She was mean too! I asked for a small container of vinegar. She looked at me as though I didn't deserve my sauce then turned around, grabbed the container and threw it in the plastic bag. After that, I noticed that she didn't put a plastic fork in the bag either. So I requested for that too. She gave me the stinky eye, grabbed my plastic fork and napkin set then threw it in the plastic bag. She seemed so angry with me and I'm standing there super confused. Sadly, I left Grill City feeling very uncomfortable. After reading the other reviews, I too, fell victim to the grouchy ladies. I felt like I was scolded by my Lola (means grandmother in Tagalog) Sheesh! I should've went to Jollibees. 2 stars because I did enjoy my food eventually.
