I ordered the mango cake days in advance. They asked me what I wanted on top of it- so I ordered "60". Then the day arrived -1pm-and I picked it up. It had my name on the slip. I was told it would be thawed in an hour which was fine but I didn't know it would have been frozen. So that night- 5pm. Still frozen. 8pm still frozen. So we had hard mango cake. Nothing like the light delicate cake I've had before. And there wasn't anything on the cake. No 60. Extremely disappointed

Visited Goldilocks in Concord location this time with my friends. Since it is morning time, there are both breakfast and lunch options and a lot of people We ordered the breakfast plate and added veggies, it was very filling and nice branch option for us. Also tried the Buko pie, which was yummy! The staff are friendly, and the store is very clean. I will definitely go again when I want Filipino food!

This Pinay doesn't cook Filipino food so Goldilocks is a good sub when I'm craving, pancit palabok. I have been here a few times and their portions are pretty small compared other locations I have been to but it's the most convenient location for me. Lemon is in packets and requesting extra packets will only get you one. Review #28 of 100 in 2023.

    Ube overload, so yummy!

Goldilocks is the place to go to buy fresh, sweet, and delicious birthday cakes! We celebrated my mother-in-law's birthday today with a tasty Ube overload cake, so good. The service was friendly, but they wrote the wrong name for pick up. The name for pick up was supposed to be my husband Edward, but they wrote Roger, but we got the cake. (an honest mistake) It was a little busy at Goldilocks today, but not bad. There were enough places to sit comfortably. Overall, we are happy with Goldilock's service and delicious baked goods, which is why we keep coming back for more!!

Talking about Filipino food yesterday and some free time to roam led me here to have some confront food my blond wife wouldn't appreciate. Very friendly and kind people here and this place had a large selection of Filipino food which I grew up with but I suspect others would question. Loved my blood dish and their mixed vegetables in a fermented shrimp sauce which sound like red flags but I like this kind of food.

Really bad pastry. It's always old and wont last 2days before it gets mold. I bought several times but failed everytime. The hot food is always oily no matter what it is. There's one cashier who's making a big fuzz and will blame you if you didnt say that you'll get a 10cents bag right away. Oh and the posted price, it's not always the same. Try to buy the same stuff and you'll be charge differently. Then the cashier told me that they can change it anytime - oh well not if it's posted that time!!! That's obviously misleading to customers. Oh and one time, they yelled at my husband for getting water cause I was the one who bought the food and asked my husband to refill the water. And the lady yell at him that it's for customer only. I really tried to like the place and patronize it but it always fails me. I would rather drive an hour south to get decent filipino food.

Goldilocks brings me childhood nostalgia. It was one of the very few Filipino establishments where I grew up. My parents would frequent Goldilocks for Filipino dishes and desserts. I'm so happy to know that Goldilocks is drivable from where I live. This Goldilocks is located at a Seafood City, which is a very convenient place to get all your Filipino goods at one stop. I visited Goldilocks the other day to grab their ube crinkle cookies, which is so delicious! Definitely recommend this place for traditional Filipino food and desserts!

See all the green between the cake and frosting? IT'S ALL MOLD!!!!
    Ladi Da A.

First of all, I find it strange that their cakes are sold FROZEN. You're supposed to let it thaw for an hour. Having bought cakes at their Daly City location since the 80's that I had always believed to be made onsite, this is just bizarre. But the reason for this 1-star review isn't because the cakes aren't fresh...it's because the cake I bought had MOLD and that one bite of mold has given me a stomach ache!!! On New Year's Eve, I took a 25 minute drive to Goldilocks for their Ube cake. There was ONE left. The lady originally told me it would cost $26, but after ringing it up, it was closer to $50. Whatever. Just glad to have the cake for the New Year. At midnight, I cut a piece, take a bite...WTF?!! It had a weird taste and texture. I had swallowed some and spit the rest out. I look at the slice...it is BEYOND MOLDY!!! It was hard to see all the green due to the frosting, but after moving the frosting around it was clear...MOST OF WHAT WAS UNDERNEATH THE FROSTING WAS MOLD!!! I rinsed out my mouth. I thought about vomiting, but I had only swallowed a little bit and didn't feel like throwing up my entire New Year's dinner. So, I chugged water and hoped for the best. Needless to say, I should have thrown up. It's 7am now, and I've been up since around 3am with a bad stomach ache!!! For the record, after the cake defrosted for an hour, the frosting looked weird...it looked all cracked up and not smooth. It looked like a very old cake!!! I should not have given that cake the benefit of the doubt! I WILL NEVER BUY A CAKE FROM THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN!!! :::: Update: 01/01/2019 @ 3pm Just drove over there to return the stupid moldy cake. They're closed on New Year! What a waste of time and GAS!!! :::: Update: 01/02/2019 @ 9:40am Giving them an extra star (moving them up from 1 star to 2 stars) for making the return easy and giving me a complimentary cake for the mold issue. I didn't ask for anything, but the manager took it upon herself to give me something for the trouble. I appreciate that.

Whenever i visit family in Pittsburg i stop at the seafood market plaza in concord to get goodies before arriving. Parking is not a problem here. So Today i walked into this particular Goldilocks for the first time and was very impressed with all they had to offer. Workers were friendly and you can tell they enjoyed being there. They had a lot of baked goods and a freezer section. I also noticed a hot food section where everything looked so yummy. Alas i subdued my temptations and just got 3 halo halos and their new longanisa bun. Halo halo was as expected but their Longanisa bun was great. I would probably get again, especially since their prices are super reasonable. I would definitely recommend trying this location.

    Pancit Sotanghon. 7 bucks.

Is it just me, or did Goldilocks used to be really, REALLY good? Just FYI, this place is connected to Seafood City. There's an entrance from inside and a separate one outside. It's the smallest Goldilocks I've ever been to. Seating is not in the actual store, it's in the mall area. The staff was nice and the polvoron is what I expected, but the food is just not what it used to be. I had the pancit sotanghon and it was actually a little bland AND I put lemon all over it. I'm not sure why it's not good anymore; I remember when everything was really flavorful. I've been to better Filipino restaurants in the area. On top of all that, these dishes are PRICEY. You can go to another Filipino restaurant (basically anything other than Goldilocks) and you'll get waaaaaay more bang for your buck. Unless you have some type of brand loyalty, I would seek Filipino food elsewhere.

Amazing Filipino food perfect for our wedding reception!…read more This is what we ordered for our wedding reception: pork sisig, chopsuey, pancit canton, chicken adobo, laing, sweet and sour fish, chicken lumpia, pork menudo, and white rice. Everything was delicious! Nothing was too oily or salty. Most of our guests were Filipino but even my non-Filipino friends who haven't tried a lot of Filipino dishes yet enjoyed the food. The medium trays were the perfect size for our party of 35. The only thing I regret is not convincing my then fiancé to order more lumpia! 50 lumpia ran out so quick I didn't get to taste one. That's OK though because I plan to come in person to order the lumpia! We did have leftovers after the reception, even after people took some to go. The leftovers reheated well and I ate them for my work lunches. Jane was our point of contact. We exchanged emails and text messages. We sent our order via email and Jane emailed us an estimate. We then paid for our order in person. We paid for delivery and they had all the food delivered to our reception. They communicated with our point person for our reception venue.
