I had a really nice customer experience. We ordered a couple pizzas on the app. When I picked them up, I didn't really pay attention and since one pizza was on top of the other, I didn't notice the bottom one was incorrect. I saw when I got home and called the store. They were very understanding and asked that I come back to get it fixed. When I showed up I showed my receipt and it was clear I must have received someone else's order (they did read my full name off when I picked it up - that I paid attention to!) I'm sure it is super annoying to have a customer come back and "return" a pizza. It's lost profit and all that. But they were really nice about it and even allowed me to keep the "wrong" pizza. (Since I had left the store, they could not add on the right ingredients or take it back). I didn't want to waste it but I also wanted what we did order. The pizza was good and movie night was saved. Notice: this is bake your self pizza place. They do not cook the pizza. It is raw when you get it! They only put toppings on the dough and plastic wrap it. You have to cook it yourself! I was at a hotel, pre-ordered pizza to go and can you imagine my surprise when I got a raw cold pizza! Luckily my room had an oven, but wondering how much does this happen?! This Papa Murphy's has the advantage of being near the Community Center and Raley's, meaning that on-the-way home ordering and pickup is a nice convenience. We carried home 4 pies yesterday for a family gathering, of which the price and portions met our expectations. Nice helpful take out counter service too. Our issue yesterday was our baking 2 of the pies in the oven (top and bottom). The instructions recommended it, but what we ended up with was an underdone pie on the top and a burnt one on the bottom. That didn't stop a few of the family kids who had the reputation of eating anything. The adults soldered through with the help of a family recipe salad. read more

I went over to Nevada to visit family and this was the first place we ate at. My Uncle hyped this place up as the pizza in town! I had high expectations after that. I was expecting a ready to eat pizza when he came home but it's a take and bake. Ah... never was a fan of those but if it tastes good it tastes good. So how was the flavor on it? Well, we got a cheese and vegetarian. Yes cheese is a bit boring but my 5 yr old cousin wanted cheese and a 5 yr old ALWAYS gets their way lol.. The vegetarian was tasty! The ingredients tasted fresh and the crust had a good form to it as well. The cheese pizza just wasn't it though. Of course my cousin liked it.. she would eat anything if you put cheese on it haha. Also my entire family eats pizza with a fork, I can't.. Anybody else do that? Anyways, to me it had the flavor of a elementary school pizza party pizza. Cheese's didn't go well together and that particular pizza felt very chewy. Veggie was definitely better. And if you love meat well they have plenty of pizza options for you too. They have about 10 different types. They also have salads and side options if you want that. They have a $10 large special on Tuesday's and for that price it is a really good deal but if you're looking for a fresh baked pizza you have to go elsewhere. The young man who took our order was very nice. Our pizza was made to perfection. The only reason I took 1 star away was because the 2 young men making the perfect pizza were wearing hats but their hair was a bit long and sticking way out of their hats and I kept thinking that only 1 stand of hair being found while biting a pizza will ruin someone's dinner. I suggest wearing hair nets even though it's not popular with workers but in the food industry should be mandatory when prepping or cooking food. read more

It's was really good but kinda cold and why do we have to worm it up your self but it's okay it was good.

We go here so often as it's right around the corner. We usually pay and order online. Our pizza is always ready when it says it will be and all of the staff are always friendly. We had an issue one time during covid with them being out of ingredients and the store manager responded promptly to our review. I was very sorry to hear people were so rude to the staff during covid due to ingredient shortages but hopefully things are getting better. They also have great coupons and monthly specials that you can use when you pay online ! read more

The pizza is good and prices are ok service is bad I use a cane to walk. So I walk in using a cane and order my food. Pay for it and leave a tip . But when the food is ready no one asks if they can carry it out for me and the thing is that there were about 7to 10 people working in there but I was the only customer one person had just gotten of work and I could see that most of them were helping him add things to his pizza. I recently went into this location and ordered a gluten-free pizza. I just started GF and this pizza was great! Very impressed. Joe, a great guy with exceptional customer service skills, took my order and somehow - probably my fault - they got the wrong sauce on the pizza. When I noticed this, Joe was very understanding and immediately he had another one built for me. I got my pizza in about 10 minutes even thought they were very swamped (it was a Tuesday). Fortunately another customer had overheard me and she bought the pizza with the red sauce so nothing was wasted. Joe even knocked a dollar off the already special price they had that day as I had a coupon. We'll be back every Tuesday from now on. We haven't been for awhile as we weren't sure about the Gluten-free taste as other GF products I've bought at the grocery store haven't been very edible. Don't expect your online order to be ready at the promised time -- even what you order 1 hour and 45 minutes before arriving. Even in the middle of a weekday afternoon with no customers in the store and zero items waiting to be picked up, your order won't be ready. This has happened twice in the past two months. Then, both times, one of the three pizzas we ordered had ingredients we didn't order! Adding gross ground sausage to a pizza meant we couldn't eat it. That's ridiculous. The franchise owner needs to hire decent help, pay them appropriately, and give decent training and supervision. Unfortunately both Papa Murphey's in Carson City are owned by the same person, so my suggestion is to spend your time and money somewhere else. read more

Wow. It is our favorite Go bake at home pizza. We always keep about 3 in our freezer at all times. Helen is always our favorite and she knows us and our orders. Man. A few days ago it was absolutely annoying. The order was so messed up as there were evidently many Kellys ordering that day and Helen was so distracted to the point of what the heck?? Robbin had to try and clear it up. What a mess. I paid for some other Kellys order. Had to wait for mine. Then. After forever in getting my pizzas, halfway home Helen called and said That they cancelled out our order and I said wow, thanks for the pizza, she said no, I'm not giving you free pizza. When the other Kelly came in, we cancelled your credit card by mistake. What???? I told her we would check our bank when we got home. At 7:30 pm Robbin the young man called and took our credit card over the phone. What a Mess!!! The other Kellys pizza was $25 and mine was $29 and Helen said, oh , I am just going to give you yours for $5.00 off then. Well, YA think after that mess????????? My gosh. This is the first time I've ever been disappointed. Sadly, I feel the need to post a negative review. My husband & I have been getting pizza here for the last 5yrs., ever since we moved here. It was always delicious & the order was always right. Not tonight. I ordered a Hawaiian. It has always come with Canadian bacon and pineapple. It isn't a Hawaiian if it doesn't have pineapple! I ordered a couple extra additions, but not a trace of pineapple! My husband got a different kind of pizza & it was fine. I will go back, based on previous good service & great pizza. I'm giving this place a 3 due to lack of listening on how to take an order. Ever since Covid, this has really been the only take out place we have gone to. We have been here 4 times in the past month, and 3 out of the 4 times, they have gotten our order wrong. I have called to express my frustration, and all they ever say is, "I'm sorry." I live in Gardnerville and have ordered from them 3 times in the last year. This establishment has let me down every single time. I always order the same thing, the 5 meat Stuffed Family. I always ask for extra cheese and sauce, but I NEVER get it. My most recent pizza literally had 1.5oz of cheese on top (yes I weighed it) and was dry as a bone, with hardly any sauce at all. I also payed for extra pepperoni and din't get that either. In fact, this was the skimpiest pizza I have ever had. If this is their idea of extra toppings, then I hate to think what normal amounts would be. It seems when you ask and PAY for extra toppings at this location, you get LESS than normal. The employees that work there are all teenie boppers, which explains a lot. You guys are robbing the consumer! If you cant afford to put on extra cheese for and additional $1.50, then don't offer it! I'm done with this place. Three strikes and you're out! Pretty sad when a dive like Little Caesars has better pizza...there you actually get extra toppings! read more

Let me begin with telling you that I have worked at papa Murphy's for a little under a year. I just recently had to leave due to an unsafe workplace. It is dirty and unsafe. The manager would allow expired food on the line because he would change the tag saying he "doesn't want to waste it". I was treated unfair and was put in very dangerous working conditions.
