    False advertising

We have been Papa Johns Pizza customers for years, always received great food at a reasonable price. The location that services Nocatee has serious Management issues. Since the COVID pandemic we have been ordering from PJs as they seal the box when the pizza is removed from the oven and offer no contact delivery. I realize many people aren't concerned with this, but if you are THIS LOCATION DOES NOT PROVIDE NO CONTACT or SEALED ORDERS, even if you call to remind them. Last month our order arrived with the box partially opened, no seal and the driver neglected to follow the do contact protocol, ringing the door bell incessantly until I opened the door, when he handed me the partially open box. I called the location to ask what happened. The woman who answered the phone identified herself as the Assistent Manager said they "usually" seal the box but it depends on who's cooking. She had no explanattion for the driver's lack of "no contact delivery protocol". A month later, we decided to give them another try. This time calling and reminding them to please follow the protocol for our order. After waiting an hour and 45 minutes, it was same deal, open box , no seal, driver reluctantly followed no contact protocol, only when we told him to do so. Again we called the location and spoke with the manager, mentioning that we asked for no contact delivery and that we had taken the time to call to remind them to seal the box when it came out the oven, as per their marketing. He responded in a rude, disrespectful completely unapologetic manner " We are very busy here, I have teenagers working and you should be grateful that my team is here to serve you during this pandemic" This is the role model for training his employees. I didn't believe this to be a corporate issue, as we have never had the problem at the other locations. However, after speaking to the location's manager I'm not so sure. Papa John's should take concern with Florid's Statute 817.44 regarding false advertising and the Federal Trade Commission Act on False Advertising via mail and internet (we have received both).

Maybe I'll change my review when I get the pizza that was estimated to get here 30 minutes. Update: Pretty good pizza, being short handed isn't the customers fault though. I've worked plenty of jobs where I've been short handed, sometimes we were even faster because we cared so much more. Gave it two more stars for the actual product.

I literally just wasted 26.32 , the one thing I didn't order would have been the best thing for to order and that would have been a drink alone. I tried the new papadias , philly wet with no seasoning, the meatballs didn't even have all that I asked for on it. Just flatbread and meatball. Don't get me started on the bread itself, talking bout parmesan smh! The wings taste like Chinese sauce which I most definitely didn't order. And the damn delivery driver stole a dollar and some change before I gave him the tip money. Now I'm homeless and barely want to spend money on food, decided to get what I did for now and later because papa John's delivery accepts cash payments. Honestly, I'm grateful to have food brought to me yet I don't even think I'm going to finish that b.s . I won't ever shop there again. #TeamDOMINOES FOR SURE NOW.. P.S. wanted to try something new, but I think next time I will stick with what I know when it comes to pizzas!! DMason.

So bad - and expensive! Undercooked, crappy ingredients, poor attitude...for $18 per pie delivered. No thanks.

The cooked penne was sitting on the counter uncovered, just vibing at room temperature like it had officially given up. The sauce? Scooped from a container and reheated with all the passion of a microwave at 2 a.m. The complimentary bread arrived looking hopeful... until we realized it was a square dinner roll slathered in what tasted like imitation garlic and oil -- less Italian trattoria and more middle school cafeteria meets olive oil cosplay. The Chicken Marsala arrived undefeated in battle against any form of tenderizing. This chicken was not pounded thin -- it clearly lifts weights. I needed a steak knife, determination, and possibly a waiver to cut through it. We shared one entrée and a bottle of wine that tasted like grapes filed a formal complaint, and somehow the bill still hit $65. I checked twice to make sure we hadn't accidentally invested in the business. And just when you think the experience is complete, surprise! There's a debit card fee. Don't worry though -- the owner's son (also waiter, host, busboy, and possibly assistant regional manager) will loudly explain it from across the restaurant so the entire dining room can stay informed.

The fries and appetizers were also solid, and portions were generous enough to leave satisfied. The drink menu is extensive too, with a strong cocktail selection that fits the whole Prohibition theme. Service was friendly and generally on point, even though it was busy. The staff kept things moving and checked in without being intrusive.
