I just ordered 3 pizzas from Papa John and found their overall process fairly quick and simple. The only issue I encountered was the incorrect information provided by their associate. I believe her main goal was to secure the order as quick as possible...Lol. She kept asking if she could place my order without properly answering my questions. In either case, their pies were good!

I just ordered here today and loved that they open at 9:30am. I had a huge craving for pizza and this was just the fix. I ordered online and picked it up shortly after. I had no problems and since it was early in the morning, I didn't have to worry about seeing other people. Even in the midst of all the things happening with the virus, I'm still trying to do my part to help the local restaurants around me. They had great special deals online! I got all of this for $33. Thank you papa johns for my pizza for breakfast fix

    No mustard sauce, one jalapeños.

This time, they called me before they arrive to our apartment (I had to request it but yeah). I wish they check the order next time. I request for honey mustard sauce for wings and they gave me ranch. Pizza was good, chicken isn't bad.

    Email response with bad codes.

I bought a Groupon for Papa John's and ordered two pizzas given the diverse preferences of my family. When I arrived home and we started to eat, we each had the same sentiment about the pizza. It didn't have the robust flavor we were used to, "tastes like kids birthday party pizza", lacks flavor. I thought maybe it was just the one pizza, but we ordered two and it was the same for each. One The Works specialty pizza, and the other a cheese, half sausage pizza. It was almost as if they changed the recipe in their sauce or something. Later, I received an email survey and debated on completing it but figured why not. I provided the same feedback and asked to be contacted via email. I expected to hear maybe that they did in fact change their recipe recently but instead received an apology and two free pizza vouchers. A week later, we decided to try Papa Johns again and use the two free vouchers only to discover that the vouchers didn't work. I replied to the email and received no response from Papa Johns or Denise K, Assistant General Manager. I did order and pay for two pizzas despite the bad vouchers provided. The pizza tasted about the same. Either way it wasn't what we were used to in ordering Papa Johns. We typically eat a mix of Pizza Hut, Dominos, Boston Pizza, and Papa Johns and haven't had issues with the other three. Papa Johns is typically more costly and has fewer coupons unlike the others but in this case I had the Groupon. If this is the standard for customer service with misleading customers with bad vouchers, then I doubt we will return. There is sufficient competition that if Papa Johns doesn't want our business we can look elsewhere. I am curious if others felt the same about the quality of the pizza deteriorating, or if it's just this location that is doing something different.

I've had many works pizzas from this establishment at different locations which was all really good but this location by far has to be the worst papa John pizza I ever ate I will never go back here again you've been warned I believe 5yr olds could have made a better pizza then this it was that bad

3 stars - For taking my order wrong, I normally order online and never had a problem but this night I decided to walk in - take out. They had a special Buy 1 Pizza regular price and receive 1 Free. I Ordered The works with spinach thin crust and 1 Hawaiian original crust also ordered 10 piece buffalo Chicken with ranch. When I got home I was upset to see no thin crust on "the works". Original crust on both pizza's. I was precise when I ordered and the guy even repeated it back. Yes "thin Crust" I called and spoke to the manager who was apologetic and told me the guy who took the order was new. He apologized again and offered to refund my money, which he did. All aside both pizza tasted good, I just prefer a thin crust pizza.

You know it's a Asian family run place when their kids are sitting at one of the tables doing some homework (at least I hope it was) The guy ordering was super friendly and patiently explained some stuff to me Ordered the original spicy chicken plate and went to make it fresh. Delivered to my table was a plate with 6 pcs fried wings, corn and furikake rice. Not bad for $14 now days! Chicken had a nice crunch and was mildly spicy. Flavor was good and chicken was moist. Corn seemed like it was homemade cream corn with crisp kernels and some light cream sauce. I thought chicken was great and priced right. I will come back for lunch for sure!

Got the yogurt drink and the passion pineapple juice. The yogurt drink was creamy and slightly tart!! And the juice was too sweet... had to water it down with a bottle of water. They brought out the drinks first and the chicken was made to order. Fast service. There were a couple of tables and it was warm inside. But cozy.

And to make things even trickier, there are no left turns on Dillingham, so plan your route accordingly. But once you do make it there, you'll find it tucked inside Bliss Lounge & Bar, which is actually a plus. What pairs better with crispy, fried chicken than an ice-cold beer or cocktail? Plus, the space is cozy and great for hanging out with friends. Since it's inside Bliss lounge and bar, there's no table service, so you'll need to scan a QR code to order or better yet, save yourself the hassle and order ahead here: https://www.clover.com/online-ordering/soul-chicken-honolulu I've always been quoted 20 minutes for orders, but in my experiences, it's always ready sooner. If you're grabbing takeout, ordering ahead online is the way to go so you're not stuck waiting. And this chicken? Crispy, light, not greasy, and not weighed down by batter, exactly how it should be. My go to flavors are Honey Garlic and Yang Nyeom (spicy) and if you're taking it home, I highly recommend getting the sauce on the side to avoid any soggy disappointments. My only complaint are that some of these chickens look like they barely made it past chickhood because a few of the pieces are really small. I'm talking bite sized in a way that makes you wonder if they ran out of full-grown birds. But hey, what they lack in size, they definitely make up for in flavor. If you can navigate the construction mess (and the no-left-turn nightmare on Dillingham), Soul Chicken is a solid spot for some seriously good Korean fried chicken just maybe don't expect every wing to be a heavyweight or order more half dozens.

Ordered by phone the day prior, and just gave them my phone number as usual (it's how they identify you when you pick up, with no worries about duplicate or misspelled names.). Every time I've ordered in advance, our order has always been packed neatly and ready in a box for takeout. (My brother had brought a box just in case, and smoothly offered it to their staff for someone else's future order.) The restaurant has several tables for dining in, and markings on the floor for those waiting in line. It's brightly lit and clean as well. I appreciate their staff, food, service, and generous servings. They make us look so good with our potluck contributions! So what did we order? Half chicken katsu, half chicken wings, a small platter ($45 for the small pan, but picture a much loaded tray) - it's a great value deal! It was the same order our cousins loved when we brought it on Christmas Day (they especially love the wings, but we love the katsu-so this year we asked for half-half instead of all katsu, and they were so happy, ha ha!) Oh, and they give you a nice big container of yummy katsu sauce;)! I like their panko and cooking method, as whatever they do, the chicken is nice and crisp, and tasty - with, or without the sauce, actually. First time that I actually tried the wings, as I'm not a wing person. (I didn't even try it at Christmas, lol.). But, it was nice and crisp, lightly seasoned, and the wings had lots of meat on them. Easy finger food, and they were not dripping in oil, either, which I appreciated! Also ordered (for the first time) a small platter of chicken chow mein (a little over $30?). It was based on a good recommendation by an admittedly biased family member of the owners, and we were pleasantly surprised! The small pan was covered in wrap and then foil, because the mound of noodles was seriously kinda big! My brother was like, quick, go tell mom to come look before we open it (as she's picky, so it's hard to impress her). It was filled with lots of veggies (sliced carrots, cabbage, onions, etc) and bbq chicken pieces, tossed with great flavor (I want to say it was a nice sauce, but this wasn't a wet noodle dish.). My dad added Chinese mustard soy sauce, but my mom and I thought it was perfect the way it was. Oh, don't laugh, we're only a family of four, so yes, we ate two meals - lunch and dinner - and still packed a ton of leftovers! As we watched the game, we commented to each other what great choices we had made. (We also had sushi trays and other treats, and of course, chips, and my brother's dip. My brother said we may not have had a favorite team to cheer on today, but it was a great excuse for a party, ha ha!) I know we're doing a repeat for our next occasion, for sure! We'll gradually try some of their other foods, and it's farther away than we'd like to drive (I know, it's not that far, but we live on the other side, ok?). My brother agrees it's worth the drive - it's across Aloha Stadium and literally in the same spot as Ice Palace; and we saw quite the line at the Taco Bell drive through when we were looking for parking;). He also compared it to the cost and serving size of what we ordered on New Year's, from a restaurant much closer to where we live. Hands down, it was not even a close comparison, his emphasis added. So go here, it's perfect for family dinners and potlucks and I hope you agree with my assessment;)! Oops, I didn't take any pictures, aiya!!!

Super disappointed with the crazy service tonight…read more I placed an order outside using the kiosk for just a chicken katsu special at 5:52 PM since it was crowded inside and ended up waiting 45 minutes for that one plate. It wasn't just the waiting, it was the service and lack of communication that pushed it over. After placing my order, I entered the restaurant and waited on the side since there wasn't a place to sit and wait. The worker who was stationed at the front soon came back and asked "How can I help you?" and I mentioned that I ordered on the kiosk outside and she walked away without saying anything. Around 10 minutes in I noticed the worker mentioning to every person in line only after they tried to order that the wait would be 30 minutes for anything on the grill since they had a big order. The questions that came to mind every time a person attempted to order was "why wouldn't she tell them that they would have to wait 30 minutes from the beginning before they even tried to order so they could reevaluate if their orders needed the grill?" And "what items are not on the grill?" Every person in line would get frustrated as she wouldn't even show what items didn't need the grill.. They would say "Okay I want to order this instead" and she would keep saying "that's on the grill so you have to wait 30 minutes." Like they were supposed to know.. Who wouldn't get frustrated? Time went on and I found myself still waiting at 6:30 PM. When i heard her mentioning the chicken katsu wouldn't take long since it's not on the grill. No update, just me sitting on those high chairs obviously waiting for my order. It's worse because you don't get a buzzer for using the kiosk. I decided to ask about my order but still had to wait in line to talk to that same worker. When it was eventually my turn, I said "I wanted to check on my order" and showed her a picture of the kiosk with the order number because the kiosk didn't print a receipt for me and rudely responded with "Your order's already ready" and just handed it to me.. Excuse me? No one even bothered to tell me it was ready and she spoke to me like I was supposed to know it was ready. How long was it ready that I was wasting my time waiting there? Also, please fix the option on the kiosk when you select the chicken katsu; it should have the option or be defaulted with "White rice & mac salad" like your app. The kiosk is misleading and doesn't say you don't need to select "all rice" or the other up-charge options. So when she gave it to me and she said all rice I explained to her that I thought it was making me choose an option and she got defensive and said "No it doesn't." She eventually took it to the back to put mac salad then returned and rudely told me "Next time just don't select an option." Wow. It was not my fault that no one called me to tell me my order was ready. It was not my fault there was a flood of orders during dinner time. I like Oh My Grill but please do better with the customer service, especially with the person who's in charge at the front. I understand that it gets overwhelming when it's busy but the communication and customer service was just the worst. No one deserves to be treated like that especially when we come often. This was such a horrible experience.. Maybe won't come back for a while.
