Gorgeous view, impeccable service, impressive menu. I've been back many times and plan to do so again! Highlights are the bread plate, risotto, and the salmon.

We had an amazing time here for our anniversary! The food was sooo delicious! You have to get the filet it was perfectly cooked and very tender. The shrimp bucinitini was also very flavorful. My drink the My Darling Clementine was so cute and perfect flavor combo. Our waitress was very helpful and kind!

Came here with a few friends after work for a glass of wine and ended up ordering food as well. The food was good, and the ambiance was cozy with low lighting and a relaxed, inviting vibe. Our hostess was super attentive and accommodating, especially since there was a 45+ minute wait for a table for four. She helped us find a comfortable spot where we could still order from the bar and enjoy full service, which we really appreciated. While everything was pleasant overall, I was expecting a bit more for the price point. I've had my fair share of fine dining experiences that really deliver on flavor, and I think there's room here to offer a bit more value for the cost.

Wonderful time at this place. This was our 1st time here and we were pleasantly surprised. We kicked off the evening with a delicious cocktail that included a little "smoky" element which was very unique. Food was wonderful. Everything we had was delicious. My burrata starter and bucatini carbonara was everything. My husband had the octopus as a starter and the scallops and risotto for his entree and loved everything! Service was top notch and the ambience was nice and romantic. Would definitely go again.

I had the Filet Mignon and asked that it was cooked well done. It was cooked appropriately. The complaint with the meal was more with the whipped potatoes, gravy and spinach. The amount of gravy on it made the potatoes more like soup. I also had the soup of the day which was celery potato. I had to google exactly what this soup was suppose to be like because I felt like I was eating baby food to the extent that someone across the bar asked what I was eating. It was ok, would not order again. Service was good. Felt bad for the bartenders because they have to deal with a lot of unpleasant hockey players as did I.

This is a BEAUTIFUL restaurant inside the Marriot hotel. Cocktails are amazing and I appreciate the blowtorch they used as a special touch to the rosemary in my loganberry cocktail. It was the perfect touch and an absolutely delicious drink! The food was soooo good. One of the best French onion soups I've ever had. I had the scallop risotto and it was so delicious! It would have been great to have one more scallop but the flavors were good. The risotto was so buttery and smooth. One of the best I've had in a while. It was a nice meal at a fancy restaurant... The only thing that threw it off from a perfect night was the disgusting windows. I mean .... Disgusting. For a restaurant that has such a beautiful view of the lake, good luck seeing anything out of those windows. They didn't look like they were cleaned for over a year.

I'll start with the good and great! The ambiance is picture-perfect. 7th floor of the Marriott such an amazing view. Defintely make sure seated on left side by the windows! The servers were very nice and attentive. The food for me was just average hotel bar food. I was expecting a more upscale food vibe. The food didn't match the actual restaurant itself, which gives off high-end vibes. I enjoyed the sharable items more than my lunch orders! I definitely go back for the view cocktail and shareables for sure. The truffle potatoes were good. Just didn't get truffle taste. The burger was good, cooked how I asked. The turkey blt was a great portion. I didn't like the mayo on sandwhich with avocado, tho. The fries were perfect. The risotto was a pass for me, definitely wasn't cooked enough very hard. But I will say the flavor was there. The sharable were good, meatball was a little dry. I could be wrong, but I think they were fried and dried them out. But the fregola sarda that came with it was amazing, my favorite thing ordered. Burrata was good as well as the homemade focaccia.

Panorama on 7 is the restaurant located on the 7th floor of the Buffalo Marriott at LECOM HARBORCENTER Hotel. The views overlooking the Harborcenter, marine areas, the harbor, and the waterway are spectacular, some of the most breathtaking and captivating to be found. Indeed, the atmosphere reminded me of the once Windows of the World. The restaurant and bar are of the most eye-appealing of modern décor. And as they say, marries Southern European flavors with locally sourced ingredients. The menu dishes range from comforting and traditional to lighter European fare, all of which are designed for guests to share. For my meal, I went for their scallops which came served atop a bed classic risotto sided with sautéed kale, and beurre blanc sauce. The scallops were of good size, fresh, and totally delicious. My partner had their Filet Mignon which was served with a truffle whipped potatoes, sautéed mushrooms, spinach, and a tasty blue cheese butter. For breakfast we both had their rather unique Beef on Weck Benedict with poached eggs, English muffin, shaved beef roast, tomato, arugula, horseradish hollandaise sauce, and breakfast potatoes. Again, a delicious treat. With its awesome views great décor, attentive service and excellent food, Panorama on 7 is deserving of all five of my Yelp stars.

    Octopus, focaccia.
    Wendy D.

Food was pretty good. We had the focaccia, French onion soup, octopus, steak, and scallops. All of the food was a 8/10; which is good but nothing to rave home about. The focaccia was probably the best item. It was fluffy and flavorful. The views were nice, but the windows were dirty (on the outside) so the views were a bit obstructed which is sad cuz that's kinda the point of going there. Our server was prompt and polite. The room was clean and quiet. It was worth experiencing once but I doubt we will go there again.

*update* Came during the day this time. Had another great experience with the same waiter. I loved the scallops! I would say, however, the ambiance is much more chic at night. The view of gloom and construction on this rainy day was not as elegant as the dim mood lighting and looking outside to see the city lights. I would recommend coming AFTER sunset.

A bit on the expensive side, but realize you are setting inside a hotel (Marriott) looking out onto the canal.

We will be touring the Military Park in the late afternoon and would love to eat dinner at Panorama. Do we need to dress for dinner?

No you don't! The ambiance is really nice, but there is no dress code. Since it's in a hotel that helps - they get people in all types of dress coming through on their travels (:

    Is this restaurant kid friendly?

Hey Roger! I would say our restaurant is more geared towards adults, but we can offer kids meals!

After a long drive to have brunch somewhere on Elmwood, just to find the doors locked, I ventured…read moreover here to have lunch and it did not disappoint! First off, I was greeted and found staff friendly and efficient! You have plenty of options for seating .. dining area, front bar, back bar, even an outdoor patio bar. Although it is dive bar-esque, it was nice and clean (let's be honest .. some dives have a stench and stickiness that can definitely ruin your appetite, no matter how much you may love them). They have a set up for bands to play, as one was playing while I was there for their 2 year anniversary (congrats!). What was nice is although I could hear the band (it was playing in the back and I was up front), it wasn't over whelming me. I have eaten places where, no matter where you sit, it's extremely loud, and I appreciated that you had a choice here. Now onto the food: The food should have been doomed to fail; my tastebuds were prepared to eat sweet, buttery, syrupy French toast with a mocktail at brunch elsewhere. But wasn't hyped about the menu because of this (which is not dog and pony's fault .. I had to work and didn't have time to research where else brunch was available). I settled on the umami smashburger by a suggestion of my waitress. Now once again, could have been doomed to fail as I'm not a French fry person and my favorite cheeseburger is one I make on my own. BUT WOW their food blew me away and made me forget all about my brunch let-down. The French fries were fantastic and had a great seasoning on them! The smashburger was great to the last bite .. and I was NOT expecting to finish it as it was a really nice portion (I ate lunch now 10 hours ago and didn't need to eat again it was so filling!) but it was so dang gone good I sure finished it! Smoked cheddar .. chimichuri aioli ... kimchi bacon jam .. oh ya that bacon jam was EVERYTHING!! Thank you to the staff at Dog and Pony for making my long drive worth while!

I ordered the smash burger, my husband ordered the turkey sandwich. After we were waiting for our food for over 25 minutes, the server came over and said that he was just informed they don't have the turkey because they had an issue with that freezer. Ok, so my husband ordered the cheese steak because he was super excited for the bahn mi roll. My smash burger was alright, but the bread they use for their burgers remind me of those cheap buns you get from TOPS that just fall apart. The worst part was that they forgot the dog sauce on my burger, so I asked for the sauce, and THEY CHARGED ME FOR ASKING FOR SAUCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE ON THE BURGER I ORDERED. My husband made sure to tell me after we already left because he knew I would have fought it and our already 1.5 hour long lunch date would have been longer waiting for the refund... He ordered the cheesesteak and the sandwich was so small, and the "bahn mi bun" wasn't even toasted which is a signature for bahn mi bread. He said the flavor was fine but nothing to rave about. The worst part, for me, were the French fries that came with both of our meals. They were soooo heavily peppered that they were inedible. We asked for ketchup to try to make them tolerable, and they gave us a pre-portioned small cup of ketchup... You serve french fries with most of your menu, why isn't there ketchup on the table?!? Overall, It was a nice place to have on senrca street which used to only have the blackthorn and franchescas, but I would not eat here again.

So it was a pleasant surprise when a friend and I decided that we'd stop by. This was their first time here and admittedly I was happy because they haven't had many pleasant food experiences in Buffalo. I believe they haven't been going to the best places but that's another conversation for another day. Okay so let's dig into the experience. We were running late and arrived at approximately 9:40 pm. I was nervous that we'd either a) be turned away or b) not get the best service since it was so close to the time that they closed. Let me be the first to say that that was not the case at all. We were seated in the most perfect little nook tucked away near the door. Dimly lit but cozy for good vibes and good food. Our server Megan came over and she was truly delightful. She provided really great recommendations. It was the perfect mix of personal reccs, insight on bestsellers, and answers to our mainy questions. We ultimately settled on two pizzas, fried rice, and a buyer (not pictured). The food came out in a timely manner. The drinks were incredible and the service was undeniable. Special shoutout to Megan again for offering a one of a kind experience. Misc: There's a parking lot next door to the building never knew. Prices are a tad steep but the vibes are good. Kitchen closes at 10. Check hours before going. Fried rice is a tad spicy but delicious. Drinks are perfect! I can't wait to go back :]
