Wow! Seriously, I should have looked at the whopping 2.4 stars that this "lovely" establishment had before coming. The lasy as heaven cashier older cashier was seated the whole time and never budged from her chair. She sold me a drink that they didn't even have anymore and the rude high schoolers working behind the counter were absolutely no help!!! This is the worst Panera that I have ever been to and I have never had a bad experience at any Panera. I ended up not having anything to drink and throwing my $4 small drink cup away. I couldn't bother the lazy as heaven cashier! It was a total waste of money and somebody knew that drink was out because there was a sign. If you want to go on a field trip to the worst Panera in America then, I highly recommend this place! They have definitely turned me off to the whole corporation but hey, like I said, great tourist attraction! Good job "winners"!!! I appreciate those that serve under serious disadvantages and , within reasonable limits, I support them with patronage. I visited Panera Bakery at Cobblestone Village yesterday and selected a pastry. I settled for another (my favorite was sold out). At my table I was unable to cut my selection with the metal knife I was given. I returned to the counter, asked for a replacement of something baked today and another was provided from an area not visible from the counter area. It did not come from the display case. The replacement was very nearly as tough to cut as the first. I had already purchased three other pieces, all different, for later. Two of those three have also proven to be as nearly inedible on the day following at my home. My questions; New bakery chef, new recipe, New ovens? I think I am going to have to take a break from the place in Cobblestone Village for a while. read more

In the past this place has been great has great food services been spot-on. But something has changed at this location. Yesterday I went in there to get a pick 2. A roasted turkey sandwich on sourdough with mayonnaise. A cup of soup chicken noodle and a hot tea. A whopping $10. First of all the sandwich was made it had mustard on it and not mayonnaise. If that wasn't bad enough the chicken noodle soup which had very little chicken or noodle in it wasn't even hot. When your tea is hotter than your soup that's a problem. All I can say is I don't know what's going on with this restaurant but something has to change. I overheard two staff members complain about upper management on the floor in front of me. I know I won't be back anytime soon to this particular location. Was very very disappointed in with the quality of the food as well as the quantity. I was better off going to Publix cheaper. I frequently visit this panera as a student in the area to study. I give them a 5 because even when they make a mistake on the order they go above and beyond to fix their errors. I have been using this as a study location for 4 years now and cannot ask for a better staff. For example, today I ordered from my table and it had been 40 minutes and I had not received my food (not a big deal in my situation because I am studying). I went up and asked and the cashier who immediately got the manager and he had my food to me in seconds with an upgrade in size and extra bread with sincere apology and he asked if I wanted anything else. To me everyone will make mistakes and this is my first bad episode in 4 years so definitely a 5 star in my opinion. Also their food is always spot on and delicious! Gross...found three hairs in my grain bowl...and that was AFTER I mixed it all together. I've been going here since it opened and I always find myself writing in to the customer service via email for issue after issue with drive through orders. Like charging you for chicken and not putting it in, etc. I cannot stomach eating there knowing their quality standards are so low. Too bad! read more

The service his is beyond terrible. I don't think the staff here understand what customer service is. When I came in the drive through the person gave me my food and then closed the window and walked away. When I looked up to ask for swim thing she was gone. By the time I got home I realized my order was missing several things. I called and the manager argues with me saying I never placed the order that's fine. But she had an attitude the entire time and prioritized protecting the business rather than saving a customer. Just went to the Panera's at Cobblestone Village (off SR 312) in Saint Augustine, FL at around 6:00 tonight (11/20/21). The manager working was Jen. My elderly mother ordered two cups of coffee and a scone. There was no coffee in any of the urns so we told someone behind the counter who informed us that they were short-staffed, but working on it. My mother and I sat down and kept our eyes on the coffee urns. When Jen brought some out I got myself some coffee, which was only tepid, and told my mother there was still no decaf (what she wanted). When Jen brought out another urn my mother got up to see if it was decaf. It wasn't. Jen gruffly told her that they were under-staffed and she was working on it. My mother also asked for napkins as the receptacle was empty. After about five minutes, Jen refilled the napkin receptacle. The decaf urn was never filled and my mother ate her scone without a drink. She decided to ask for a refund for the coffee she never received. When she went up to the counter the young woman there called the manager, Jen, over to approve the refund. Jen walked over, obviously annoyed, completely ignored my mother who spoke to her, approved the refund, turned her back on my mother and stalked away. My mother was completely shaken by the incident. No one deserves to be treated that way. We, as customers, have other options and my parents have now taken their business to a Kookaburra that is not far from that Panera's. I never usually have a problem if I Order in house and eat there. But every time I order on the app and have somebody pick it up for me something is wrong they can't read the simple instructions that are on the ticket that they're making and I leave stuff out. I ordered no avocados one day instead they gave me no eggs and extra avocado. I saw an advertisement on Facebook for that chipotle chicken pizza it looks really good so I ordered it they left the chipotle sauce off so literally it was just a bacon chicken pizza not what I was looking forward to and I had no way to go in there and having it fixed. I called to talk to a manager I was told they were too busy and they took my phone number and my first and last name because they said if they didn't call me they would still make it right so they can look it up in the computer and correct it they did neither very unlikely I'm gonna keep going back to this place read more

So I'm not going to lie but I love Parena and this experience that I had today was not good at all....the SWEET tea that I order was not SWEET!! My Mac and cheese was not even full and it came to 11$ for that and a smoothie. Just saying for 11$ and the Mac and cheese not being full that's a little ridiculous. And on top of that I also got a turkey chili and I didn't think chili was soup...I guess chili is the new soup! Oh y'a and that wasn't even full ethier! Should I go on!? Worst Panera ever! Took forever to get my order. And they left my sandwich out for several mins on counter which made the hot meal cold. This is one of the Paneras where they are supposed to bring the meal to your table. Who knows how much longer it would have sat on that counter if I hadn't gone to check on it when I did. Filthy coffee area, no creamer, no sweet and low, coffee grinds in coffee. Workers arguing in the back. It's not hard Panera!! This Panera is normally excellent with customer service. However, today there was a young girl with grey-ish hair who was incredibly rude. The cashier accidentally put my food order as "dine-in" rather than "to go". No big deal. When the food came out, I asked this girl (who works in the kitchen - obviously for good reason because she is NOT friendly) for containers and a bag. After glaring at me for asking for to go containers (which I ended up having to pack up), she proceeded to act as if I did something wrong... If you can't work in customer service, don't. Location of establishment- Off of 312, near the local publix and sonic Meal type- lunch Food/beverage I ordered- I had a you pick two with the cream of chicken and wild rice soup with the Asian Sesame Chicken Salad Rating scale- overall 8/10 food/beverage quality- 8/10, The soup was a good temperature, had a lot of flavor, and had just enough broth to rice and chicken ratio. I just had water for my drink and it was very refreshing. food/beverage quantity- 6/10, The salad was a good portion, the whole bowl was pretty much full, but the soup was not quite above the midline of the bowl. The portion of the salad was good, but I wish there was another half a scoop of soup. value for the dollar- I paid almost $12 for half of a soup and half of a salad. I thought my meal was a little expensive for what I got especially without it being full service. Service- 9/10 Customer service was very good, there is not much they have to do, but they were welcoming, polite, and helpful. Decor- 10/10 All Paneras are decorated similarly and have calm colors. It creates a quiet, relaxing atmosphere where studying is encouraged and is a nice hangout place. I enjoyed the food and the culture at Panera Bread in St. Augustine. The salad was a good portion and tasted good, but the soup portion could have been a little larger or cheaper if it stays the same size. The workers at Panera were patient, helpful, and quick which was very good. It could have been better if the prices were a little lower though. It is fairly expensive and can add up fast if you add a drink or smoothie. The meal could be upwards of $16 for lunch without full service and a tip. read more

Very easy ordering service - love the kiosks and the table trackers. I walked in, touched a screen, sat down, and my food showed up by the time I setup my laptop. Also, very good customer service and a friendly guy who seemed in charge - Brandon. I saw the poor guy get sucked into some bad conversation by customers and he still stayed friendly like a champ. Not particularly impressed with this location - the Jax Beach location is much better - I work in both areas frequently so I am accustomed to a more friendly staff up north. Here the cashiers don't tell you or ask if you would like a particular side with the meals - rather annoying. One particular girl at the registers doesn't even say hello - are these millennials that introverted or just not being trained well? Not sure. On the flip side, they actually wipe the tables at this location and the dining room is pretty clean compared to most Paneras. That said most of the employees here have the red ass. read more

I'm a big fan of Panera Bread so I was really happy that a location opened up near my BF's house. Just like other Paneras: spacious and free wi-fi. Food was as expected. Still loving the cheddar and broccoli soup and the mediterranean veggie sandwich. Service was quick. It was REALLY busy... probably due to a combination of it being lunch time and it being brand spankin' new. The cashiers were all pleasant even though the line was never ending. I hate it when chains become a fad and become so popular that they don't care anymore about service. The food here is ok, nothing special but every time I come here they screw up my order. I work in customer service, so I understand things happen, especially when they are busy, but when a mistake is made you are supposed to make it right. Not treat me like I'm the one that screwed up, and then offer no apology of any sort and have attitude about it. I have been to many Panera Bread's over the years and this is the worst. It's a shame to because I was excited to see we were finally getting one here. Twice they brought me someone elses food. Once the lady tried to tell me it's what I ordered... I'm sorry but I'm pretty sure I know what I ordered 15 minutes ago and what I was in the mood to eat. When the gentleman a few tables over said it was his, she rolled her eyes, and just walked away.
