Panera should be ashamed of this location... They are often out of items and when you can order something they get it wrong more than right. Living 20 minutes away and getting home to find they once again left something out (such as a salad on a pick 2). When u call them on it a $5 coupon does not make up for a missed meal. My friend and I came to Panera Bread a little after 8:30 and ordered to sit inside. We are pretty fast eaters and knew that could finish eating before they closed, which was at 9. Right after I placed my order on the quick screens, the blonde girl taking fast food orders, Sydney, came barging out of the kitchen and yelled at the cashier as well as the group of customers including my friend and I that "all of you ordering for here need to take it to go and can't sit, cause we're closing!" It was extremely rude and unprofessional, according to the manager who came out and told us that it was alright to sit, and against policy because we had ordered too early for them to close. On top of that, Sydney saw my order which was macaroni in a bread bowl, and also rudely said "you can't have a bread bowl, we're out." Which might I add, was a lie according to the sweet cashier, Marissa, who came up to us after we were told we could sit, and gave us free baked goods as well as the bread bowls we originally paid for but weren't going to get (we had to the bread ourselves). Our experience today, was extremely uncomfortable as we were yelled at by Sydney, but was made better by good customer service team members, Marissa and Chad, who also served our food. read more

My daughter and I stopped in the NEW Richland store today for lunch. The soup and sandwich were good. It was my observation that they need someone to clean up the place. 4 tables had dirty dishes on them and the bus tubs were full. Some of the dirty dishes were on the tables when we arrived. 4 staff people were standing at the counter doing nothing when we left. There were paper napkins, receipts, straw covers, and toothpicks on the floor. The bathroom also needed attention. Someone needs to pay attention to what kind of impression they are making for their customers. If the front of the store appears dirty, what must the back of their store be like? read more

THE TALL SKINNY WHITE DUDE FIXED MY IMAGE OF PANERA!!!Drove 35 minutes to get my wife a soup bread bowl and a turkey sandwich. 6:45PM, no bread bowls, no sourdough bread... ughh.. ok, fine, whatever.... get halfway home, wife wants a bite of her sandwich.... ain't there!! Seriously?!?! turned around, went back..... not even a "sorry, we screwed up"...nothing.... ok... fine... sit there and wait for 10 minutes for them to make me a new sandwich.... the only reason it was only 10 minutes was because I heard the guy in the back asking who's unmarked sandwich this was... he then proceeded to open it and it fell apart.... saw what it was and shouted out my sandwich order, folded it all back up like a burrito.... and handed it to me... Not sure how to rate Panera. The food is delicious, but very expensive. I don't mind a higher price if the quality is likewise high. It is. My problem with this morning's visit is this: I scanned the menu and ordered a breakfast sandwich that comes on whole wheat bread. I asked to sub for sourdough bread. When delivered, surprisingly, I received a very tiny half sandwich -- apparently, as it was explained to me, when you sub out the bread, you get a half sandwich. So, four modest bites for $4.89. It's unlikely I'll bring my family back. Again, those four modest bites were great, but I'm still hungry. So my closing question for the Tri-Cities collective is, how long until this is another vacant restaurant space available for lease? read more

WONDERFUL!! Service. My two friends and I called in an order at 15 minutes to closing. They let us order. We got there 2 minutes to closing and they gave us our food and were extremely kind, warm, helpful. They weren't annoyed at all that we came in so late. The closing staff really has our hearts. Very dissapointed to report a really poor experience from start to finish. This was my first time at a Panera and I came with my family excited from all the marketing hype. The commercials make this place look like a food paradise, but it's pretty much a dump. I've had a better experience eating off the bargain menu at any fast food restaurant. At least the food is served warm from Wendy's, McDonalds and the like. The line was out the door when we got here...I would have loved a bit more guidance ordering my selection, instead I was just rushed through ordering and sat down wondering what was gonna come out. Our options weren't really explained at all. Finding a clean spot to sit was impossible. all the tables were dirty and we sat at a dirty table with cold air blowing on us from the overhead vent. it would have been nice to move somewhere else but all the tables were a landscape of old food and dishes...not too sanitary. This wasn't lunch time...around two o clock. anyhow, all our food came out at different times and was tepid at best. we asked if anything could be warmed up and they said they'd have to remake it...they couldn't somehow warm it up...so we waited another 20 mins plus for our dishes that were slightly warmer this time. I would recommend getting only salad and a cold sandwich, something that's meant to be cold, if you have to try this place out. I think we will be spending our money at graze if we want a fancy sandwich shop in the future. so bummed. I feel deceived. oh well. now I know. read more

First time there was ok although my sandwich came out soggy, could've been my fault for ordering that type of sandwich. Second time I tried a panini to see if it would be a better experience- it was even worse. Panini came out cold and soup was luke warm at best. Not to mention it felt like someone left a door open to the outside back in the kitchen cause there was a constant cold draft. Asked an employee about the cold draft and if a door was open and the coldness went away after that. Might explain why my food was so cold before it was brought to me. We have tried the Richland, WA store two times. First trip, they had 1 person on the register and a lot of people standing around. The food was good and we really enjoyed the tea. We tried again tonight, the same problem, 1 person on the register, 3 standing behind the counter doing nothing, 4 more employees milling around or talking to co-workers. This time we left. Hopefully, the manager will take the time to notice when there is a line and open additional registers. Too bad the service is so bad because the food is good. read more

This was the worst experience I've had here! If I could give 0 stars for this review I would!!! The employee was very rude to us we went through the drive thru later in the day and we ordered our food took them like 10 minutes to get the food to us. We pulled away, I checked what we had in our bag to make sure everything was right they gave us the chips instead of the baguettes which we were supposed to get. So we went right back through the drive thru to let them know they got our order wrong, we kindly asked for them to get us the baguettes and the girl rudely opened the window and said " uh yes" like we were bothering her we told her what happened and she said "oh yeah we ran out its kind of the end of the night and I just found out so yup" and my boyfriend kindly said well " that's ok I just wish you would've told us before so we didn't have to come back" and mind you there is a manager standing right behind this girl when she was talking to us so rudely and he didn't say anything but the girl shut the window after and barely greeted us bye. So I will never be going back to this place and it's sad cause I really did enjoy it here but the customer service is so terrible!!! read more

Panera is here! It's in a convenient location in the Queensgate area right by a traffic light. You can order at the counter or on the Panera app for rapid pick up. There are also tablets at the front where you can order your meal, and at least for now, you get a free cookie if you order on the tablets! I was surprised by how fast the food was ready, considering it was the first day and quite crowded. The salad I had was very tasty, and I look forward to racking up visits on MyPanera to earn free food. read more

My girlfriend and I decided to give this place a shot today and we were very disappointed. I ordered a BBQ chicken flatbread and quickly learned that it was almost all BBQ sauce and barely any chicken, my girlfriend got a turkey sandwich and it was nothing but bread and a few slices of meat and in addition to these issues with the food not being enjoyable what so ever, the bakery items we ordered were not given to us. Consistency and time to serve is a problem at this location. When the order is right, it's great! However, 4 out of the 8 times we've ordered through the drive-through it was wrong, we were missing items, or we waiting in the parking lot for up to 10 minutes for our order. Eaten there a few times, first times were great. I think the transition team was running things. Tonight, took forever to get order at drive up, and the turkey chili tasted burnt. I legit only signed up for yelp to post this. I love Panera I've eaten at many locations across the U.S. and I've never had worse service or food than at this location. The only upside to our visit was a very sweet worker apologizing​ for his coworker's​ behavior​. Not only did we wait patiently​ for 35 minutes only for them to make our food wrong THREE TIMES. The workers on the floor and in the back were cussing, yelling, and giving us an attitude everytime they made our order wrong. We ordered at the kiosk because the front counter workers were talking about aspirin​ and ignored us for 5 minutes. Every time​ they did something wrong they offered us a pastry as an apology​, we're chill so we're like sure thank you... THEY WERE ROCK HARD AND BURNT. Even after giving the worker MY phone to look at our order she took it into the back to show the cooks and for the 4TH time, ​they still made our order​ wrong! The workers were rude and acted so childish it's disgusting. My husband and I are 22, we are not some old grumpy people but the service we were given was horrific. We will be calling the manager in the morning and we won't​ waste our money or time at this establishment ever again. read more

Valentine's day lunch with my husband. Our trip to Panera. We ordered at the register we did not have to wait in line which was nice but the trip goes downhill from there it was extremely cold in the restaurant it's a cold day today and there was practically no heat we change table to try to improve the atmosphere but it was still really cold the best thing that we ordered was the French onion soup that was very good but the complementary rule that comes with that was so hard we could not eat them my husband had a sandwich and I had a half of a turkey avocado BLT sandwich which was really playing there was hardly any kind of dressing on the bread that avocado was one slice very thin and one piece of bacon really didn't provide enough for the whole sandwich and so we were pretty disappointed with our experience. I might try Panera again but I probably won't get my husband to come back the other than the soup the portions were very small for the price we paid I don't mind paying a good price for a good meal but it was really disappointing read more
