The spicy broth with lamb is pretty amazing. The serving size was good, I would recommend coming with a larger group just so we can get a larger variety of things to put into the hot pot. I'm excited to try the other broths next time. read more

Would not o out of my way to go back. The fried rolls were dripping grease with each bite. The glue-like sauce on the sweet & sour fried pork strips made the dish difficult to enjoy. read more

Everything about this place is perfect, my favorite spot in Tricities, it can be a bit pricey if you order a lot like my and my husband but we always order enough to guarantee we'll have enough to take home. It's even better when you reheat it, and Udon noodles absorb the broth incredibly- never soggy just super worth the price. read more

The food was delicious and such a fun experience for our family. We'll definitely be back.

Yummy yummy, super excited when I saw a hot pot restaurant. I've been here in town back-and-forth for work travel. I love to eat hot pot at home where I'm from in Southern California. Decided to check this place out for an early dinner, very early dinner. I was actually the only one in the restaurant! They have tons of booth seating. The people working are very friendly and helpful. Usually this type of food is family style, but since it was just me. They were kind enough to let me know that I could order half portions of some of the food. What you wanna do is select a little bit of everything and then you would cook it and they're delicious soup. The flavor was very tasty. Vegetable portions for good size and the meat was yummy as usual! I recommend not cooking the meat too long. Also, for the soup I got one side regular one side spicy. I did like the spicy side better, but it was nice to have both to balance them out. Definitely try this place out if you have not had hot pot before, or looking for a good hot pot spot. read more

Happened to be in the area on a cold winter day, which is perfect for hot pot weather! It can definitely get packed, so keep in mind when deciding when to stop by. We saw a few parties get turned away due to a full house. Price of items are a little on the pricier side, but quality of food is great and lack of competition allows them to do that. You order off a checklist menu. If you need visuals, they have photos of menu items on their website listed. PARENTS: FYI, there is no changing table in the bathroom for children. This needs to be changed! However, car seats are able to fit on their benches. PARKING: Free in the lot its located. HALF SPICY and HALF ORIGINAL BROTH: They have a split bowl for broths if you want the best of both worlds. I will warn that the spicy is spicy! We enjoyed it. Here is what we ordered for our HOT POT and we enjoyed everything: -ENOKI MUSHROOMS: My fave! -FRESH TOFU -SEAWEED KNOTS -TONG HO (aka Daisy Crown): Love the crunch of this asian vegetable! -NAPA CABBAGE -Meat: We ordered 1 PORK BELLY SLICES and 2 BEEF SLICES orders, we could have probably done with 2 orders instead of 3. Portions are decent for just 2 people. -HANDMADE NOODLES: Very chewy and well done! -STEAMED RICE: Wish one bowl of rice was included in the meal. -SATAY SAUCE: Wish sauce was included in the meal. Safe to say we left extremely full haha! read more

First- the smells are amazing here. The parking lot is sorta busy and it's located in a strip mall. The staff here are very great and amazing! It's a small little restaurant. We had to wait about 20 minute since it was packed. Food was really pricy though for just 2... ended up spending $100. Everything had a cost, check your menu when you orders read more

Best noodle soup I've had, and it's in Richland! The dumplings were phenomenal. With lemongrass. Just outstanding, honest food, with no pretense. Left me warm. I left them a nice tip and this review. Support this business. The food speaks for itself. read more

Since Garden hot pot opened, we have eaten here at least once per month. Many times, we pick up and bring home. The hot pot itself, broth, meat, handmade noodles, etc. are delicious. Then there's the fried dim sum buns. Bruh, they are hands down our favorite item on the menu. We can easily eat all 6 in a single sitting. This place is a really great option for hot pot. read more

We've lived in the Tri-Cities for a little over 3 years now and this was one of the best meals we've had...and we eat out frequently. The broth with the fixins and dumplings were phenomenal. The ambiance is a little "mom and pop" with nothing fancy but we agreed that it almost added to the authentic feel. We'll be back and cannot recommend it more highly! read more

The service was great and since it was my first time I had a lot of questions. The waitress walked me through everything and the results were fantastic! The food was great. Fresh, and flavorful. The restaurant atmosphere was very pleasant. Certainly a keeper. read more

This hot pot place is unbelievably good and has such a great offering of food. Everyone should try it!

I passed by this place a couple of times while visiting the tri cities area. Just based on the pictures of their food posted on their windows, I knew I wanted to try it. It was pricey but so delicious! Their spicy soup base and curry soup base were amazing, and I would totally go back for a date night spot. It was just challenging to bring the kids to since the soup was so hot, and their was a lot of managing the ingredients to dunk in the broth. read more

I'd like to start off by saying I really enjoy their food, and the owners a lot. I've been there multiple times. However, today was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had with the two younger employees. They dropped my food off and then never came back, then the two younger employees who I can only assume are dating, were arguing about his jealousy/her being on her phone.... you get the point we could hear it all. So Keep that out of earshot. Then I proceeded to wait another 26 minutes after I had completely finished my meal, still no service. So I had to get up and ask, only to see the the younger employees were playing some game and not working... I'm really disappointed I even have to leave this review. You really have to mess up for me to even go out of my way to leave this. read more

Dear Hot Pot, While you're only a delicious way to make restaurant patrons cook their own food to some, you're a beautiful reminder of some great food memories to us! Back in 2005, my better half and I got stuck in Beijing after missing a train. We had hot pot that evening and there was just something about Pork and fish balls in a delicious broth that made things alright! Fast forward to today and we had another such experience! We tried this place after hearing rave reviews and it didn't disappoint. Our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 kids) shared a ton of different things and we found all to be everything we'd hoped. They've only got booths, but they accommodated us nicely! You choose a base soup of regular, spicy or vegetarian. You can go half/half off original and spicy which we did. Every a medium spicy had some good kick. Our soup a la family consisted of beef dumplings and pork/shrimp dumplings (all were awesome), the fish balls and pork balls were excellent, the handmade noodles were phenomenal and the quail eggs were a total hit! They kept our waters filled (as I had some legit soup sweats!) and were very pleasant! The broth end up being roughly the same temperature as the sun, so go ahead and blow on it before it goes in your mouth. The total came to about $60 per family and was well worth it! I can't tell you how excited we are to find a good hot pot place in the area - we'll be visiting again and often! read more

Nothing amazing. I ordered the wonton soup and the pan fried beef buns. First, the wonton soup. They use a lot of pepper for the wontons, so get ready for that. I also didn't have a single wonton where the meat stayed intact inside. It was not a cool experience trying to get the meat and get some wrapping all in one bite. Then the pan fried buns. What's with the tiny size of those meat balls in comparison with the buns? It was so doughey and there was hardly any reward for getting through all that bun. Can't say I'll be back. read more

It was more expensive than I typically like to spend when I go out and eat, especially when you consider that you just have one soup pot.. But I still recommend, I'm glad we went. It was so delicious and it was a fun experience. It's a really good place to go for like a date vibe. read more

Our server was very nice. He did a good job. The things I didn't like about the meal were the prices, and the spice level of the mild soup. You start at 6$ for broth. Sure. Ya gotta have broth for soup. Then some onions, onion is cheap but not here. Then carrots, a 50lb bag of carrots is 10 bucks, it's 5$ for a tiny plate you cook yourself. I'm at 14$ and I have onion carrot soup. So I get some noodles, and some meat, and some spinach, and some meat balls. Sure, why not? I have three people to feed, they need more than onions and carrot soup right?! So the meat was 11 or 12 dollars, and I cook it, for one minute, like the server says, then I take it out. It was about three tablespoons of meat after it was cooked, for 12 bucks. Then the mild soup, well it was supposed to be mild. But my other two dinner companions couldn't eat it. They both don't mind spicy but mild should be mild, not making the whole table cough from spice all at once. I ate it because I love spice, and they ate the original broth, which they also said was spicy, and so did another table we were talking too. The other table told us that the medium spice is unbearable. The meal was over 60$ for three people, one was 9 yrs old, it took over an hour to figure out what we wanted, get it all out to us, cook it ourselves, and I still left hungry after I ate every bite we ordered. I guess this is why people go to the all you can eat buffet for hot pot, because you work up such an appetite cooking up an a la carte overpriced hot pot meal, that you need to eat again when you leave. read more

I ordered the combo mini hot pot where you can choose three types of meat and vegetables. Do NOT order this menu item because you'll get a bowl of soup as what's pictured. Defeats the whole concept of cooking while dining in. I felt their menu was misleading and this soup tasted like sh*t! My tofu was falling apart, Napa cabbage, soggy, and all my meats were over cooked. Broth sucked! Their chili oil also wasn't chili oil but a mixture of peanut butter and chili oil... skip that sauce. Overall, super disappointed in this place. read more

Great overall experience Service was great the food was great the pricing was excellent

Broth: Amazing Vegetables: fresh and plentiful Meat: high quality but low quantity Service: fast and friendly Came here solo during lunch. The waitress told me the Hot Pot for 1 would be the way to go. From a pricing standpoint that may be true but from a quantity a standpoint it wasn't. I'd highly recommend looking at the menu for pricing because they split it up by meat type, vegetable type etc. I like the AYCE hot pot pricing. Nevertheless, would highly recommend this place. Food was tasty. read more

We drove an hour to try this place. Its the closest place that had hot pot around us. Our expectations were low coming in because we saw that no one was there. Halfway through the meal, the place started to fill up with a lot of people! I loved the flavor of the soup. We got the spicy sauce and it was perfect to clear the sinuses! Unfortunately it wasn't all you can eat but we ordered enough food for a reasonable cost. Will definitely will be back! read more

Its official, I'm addicted to hot pot. Especially if you give me a spicy broth option. Garden Hot Pot's menu is a la carte. You pay for the broth, the protein choices, each plate of veggies, any appetizers, dumplings or handmade noodles. It can get pricy quick if you're alone and want to try everything (like me), so I highly recommend bringing some friends. My broths were tasty with the spicy side being a tad bit greasy. Lamb and veggies were good-sized and very fresh. Their homemade noodles were amazing. Everything was easy to cook properly. Clean and bright interior. Shared parking in the strip mall lot. read more

I love that the Tri Cities has such little hidden gems of goodness. My best friend is in Portland and we meet halfway in Kennewick every so often during the year to enjoy each other's company. We love hot pot so much and typically we go the sushi route but she found this spot so we decided to try it. Very authentic and delicious menu items. We split our pots because one is a vegetarian and one is not so that was a plus that it could all be split. The veggies were super fresh. The meat portions were huge and the broth sure was delicious! Our server was great too. The dumplings were frozen a little on the inside. The pricing was where it got difficult. Despite the leftovers we left with a lunch bill of about a hundred bucks and dang that is a lot. We will probably try it again but with less sides. read more

OMG! Why have I never sought out hot pot before? It was fantastic. We got the mild and spicy broths; the spicy was quite spicy. We ordered spinach, beef, lamb, wontons, frozen tofu, and soba noodles. Thank you, Fung Bros, for teaching me how to eat it via YouTube, before we went. The three dipping sauces were amazing - so much umami. There were three of us and there were leftovers; it was just so much food. read more

I've been wanting to try this place sooo badly since I moved here but the experience was a bummer. For starters, it was our first time there and the menu only had food + the waitress didn't ask if we'd like anything to drink, so we assumed water was the only option. I don't think that was the case though. I started noticing other people being served drinks but they seemed to have eaten here before and knew exactly what to get. We didn't but the waitress was busy and we felt bad bothering her so we went without. When it was time to order, we told the waitress it was our first time so we were excited to try a few things as we checked off boxes of what we wanted. All she said was "you chose a lot of food". That was a little awkward so we asked if we should change something or if she had any recommendations... all she said was that we couldn't order the house made noodles because they take too long to make (which sucks because that's the one thing I was super excited for and they advertise these "amazing house made noodles"... why advertise if we can't have it?) and basically told us we could only get the glass noodles (which my boyfriend doesn't like... but we felt bad so we just ordered what she said to... which was a bummer). After waiting a while, different people started bringing out one item at a time which was kinda odd. The broccoli came first (yay for broccoli soup when you're starving lol) and it took a while for anything else to come, meat was last. It was also odd that they didn't tell us how long to keep any of the raw meat in or anything (again, we told them this was our first time and some clarification would have been helpful but we figured it out). The food was fine but the kicker was the price! According to a previous review I'm seeing, the prices were jacked up after the pandemic? I get it but really? $8.95 for broth? $5.50 for a few pieces of broccoli? $5.95 for mushrooms? That's over $20 so far for a light veggie broth. Then you add 8 pieces of shrimp for $13.95? But we didn't just want veggie and shrimp soup so our meal was just under $100 for two people who didn't realize the price was so high to make a whole soup (that we had to wait a while to be served and then wait a while more to cook ourselves). It was good but not that good and I've had much better hot pot experiences for a LOT less. The only saving grace was the fried dim sum buns - they were AMAZING and definitely worth $12.95. But that's it. It was an experience and again, the food wasn't terrible, but I can't see myself going there again unless the prices of at least the veggies drop to a reasonable amount. I have easily spent $100 at other restaurants and received a TON more filling food than we got here so we will stick to those places. read more

Expensive and limited options. For what we paid for 2 we wish they at least had a sauce bar.

Delicious, great experience. Love the options you can choose from and get to cook your food at the table. Wonderful way to dine out!

This place rocks! Be sure to try both the spicy and regular. Totally made me wanna learn how to make the broth myself. The gingery, scallion broth is great even without the MALA hot! I go here all the time and love it. Be sure to try the dipping sauces also! They are doing a take out personal hotpot too for $15 bucks! Support your local hotpot!!! read more

I don't know what the heck Elieen is talking about, but this place is amazing! Very friendly, clean, and fresh. Although I've been eating hot pot for years, our waitress still walked us through the process and was helpful. The menu is super easy. It comes with a pen, check your soup, veggie and meat preferences. I recommend getting the 3 dipping sauces; So tasty, although the broth alone is packed with flavor. Chopsticks are customized with business logo. Room is filled with artwork from local artists and for sale! Waters were checked 3 different times when we were there. Very attentive considering 3 other large tables of full families. Hotpot works best if you come with a large group so you can have variety. Huge portions for a great price. It's not "just soup." hands down the freshest food in town. read more

Delicious beef buns. I would go back just for a couple orders of these. The egg rolls are good but greasy. If you don't like fried egg rolls greasy, you'll probably be disappointed at these. The hot pot was good - we did no spice and just had onion, broccoli, and chicken so nothing fancy. But it hit the spot and the place is small so the noise level stays down. I probably won't go back for the hot pot, but I'm not big on soup. but I'll be back for the buns and egg rolls. read more

This is my official new "Special treat" restaurant. This is the type of place bring a a date you want to impress him with how cultured you are (haha). This is 100% authentic Chinese and is unlike any place you can go in the Tri-cities. When I went for the first time, I was a little confused but the owner and her son were so kind as to explain everything to us. We ordered the half spicy, half regular broth with napa cabbage, enoki mushrooms, steak strips and bamboo. It was very, very good. I did wish onions were on the vegetable list. Next time, I'm going to make sure to get the 5-spice peanuts and watercress. The dumplings and noodles are handmade. Everything is so fresh. Coming here is a fun and interesting dining experience. So don't be surprised when you realize the cost here is much higher than just going and getting a bowl of Pho. read more

Took my mom here for lunch and we got one bowl of soup to share and it was over $54! Not worth the money in my opinion. The soup was was so bland and we ordered curry but it tasted like powdered curry. The meat is sooo thin and you barely get any. Each item you added into your soup it was an extra $12-$16. We also asked our server about some Thai soups and she knew nothing. The restaurant was also very cold to sit in and eat. I have spent less money on some of the best curry soups at Tips Thai House. This place is overpriced and not tasty. read more

Came to visit Yakima and was craving hot pot only to realize there was literally only one hot pot restaurant in the area and that was here. There are so so many hot pot restaurants in Bellevue so my expectations were pretty high. First and foremost, the broth is better than some places in Bellevue. I ordered half pickled cabbage and half herbal. Both were pretty good, the food was not bad. What stood out the most for me was the dumplings we ordered. I didn't know it was handmade, I noticed later on that they actually sell all types of dumplings as well, not just hot pot. The dumplings were actually really good and tasty. I would highly recommend. Service was a bit slow but they were friendly. They served us lemon water and were quite accommodating.
