I enjoy eating here. It has become my regular Asian restaurant. I enjoy the personal attention to detail with my order. The space is clean and food is hot and fast to the table. I place my order online or phone and when I get there the longest I've waited is 7-10 min. on a crowded Friday night. I prefer to wait a little than think my food is sitting getting cold. When I call and state a time for pick up it is ready at that time and hot. If I had the time I would sit and eat there more often but unfortunately I don't usually have the time. I pic up orders for me and coworkers so I am impressed with how big my orders have been and the service is steadily the same. I always forget to ask if they cater. read more

It had a clear broth , the wontons were favorable, but a little doughy for me. I ordered the egg foo young , asked to have it made with shrimp and egg. My meal came on a large plate, with three large round mounds of fried egg and vegetables. It was covered in a rich dark gravy. It also came with a side of rice. The flavors were absolutely fantastic! The egg was soft, the vegetables were cooked perfectly and I could taste the shrimp and the chicken. I honestly couldn't finish the dish, it was just way too much food. The food was pretty good. We got two of their combination specials for dinner. They're advertised to come with the entree, soup, rice, and spring rolls. We didn't receive any of the spring rolls in our takeout order, however, which was pretty disappointing. I usually don't tip a lot for takeout, but the servers were really kind so I tipped around 25%. It was just a little disappointing to have not gotten the spring rolls with it. Five stars for food that I ordered for take out in the restaurant. I didn't feel like cooking and decided to try this place. I'm not impressed with the region's Chinese offerings so I did not hold high hopes for Golden Wok. I ordered Gen. Tso's chicken and crab puffs. The food took around 15 -20 to prepare but it came out so fresh and very, very hot. And, I received a bonus egg roll! The egg roll was run of the mill but the crab puffs actually tasted like they had crab in them. They were crispy and delicious. The chicken was the star though. The sauce was not that sickeningly sweet goo that most places call General Tso's. It was spicy and garlicky. Yes, it was a bit sweeter than I prefer but the richness of the added aromatics made it shine. I'm not sure that I would enjoy delivery though. I did see sacks of food just sitting there waiting for the delivery driver(s) to pick up. I can imagine folks receiving cold and soggy food but the time it got into their hands. read more

Thoroughly disappointed tonight. Looking for Chinese and yelpers say this is it. No way! First cleanliness is an issue. The bathroom floors were sticky so you only know what the carpet has on it. Very good food so worth it and I am very picky on my Chinese food and they impressed me

I don't write bad reviews often but the food we got was the most bland tasting I've ever had. The fried rice wasn't good at all I don't think it's even fried. The general tsao was soggy chicken nuggets that weren't even remotely spicy. And the chicken chow main had no flavor. The gravy for the almond fried chicken didn't have much taste at all either. Wonderful place! We came in Christmas Day because it was one of the only 3 restaurants open at dinnertime. Wonderful service, food and atmosphere! Michelle was very sweet, she and Angel welcomed and treated us as though we were their first customers, even though they'd been there since morning and had a crazy rush. The food is amazing as well! I never expect much from unglamorous Chinese restaurants like this: in my experience the food has often been too salty and made with ingredients that aren't fresh. HOWEVER, Golden Wok upends the trend. It's a charming family owned and operated restaurant where you'll be treated with the kind of hospitality you'd expect when going to dinner at someone's home. The stands outs were the "Singapore Noodles" and the "Szechuan Beef". The former really brought the heat, and I liked changing up the style of noodles from the typical lo mein or chow mein. The "Szechuan Beef" cut through that spice since it was a little sweeter, and the beef was cooked in a way that it still retained some of its original meaty texture. The "Hunan Chicken" wasn't too bad either, but after the spicy Singapore noodles, the chicken just tasted spicy too, not distinctive. I really appreciated that we asked for spicy, and they delivered! Just as satisfying as the meal was the fact that everything was relatively cheap. For the vast quantity of food we got, we didn't pay that much. They didn't skimp out on the good stuff either. All of our dishes were filled with meat, while at other Chinese restaurants I find myself digging through a heap of veggies for that treasured meat. And as mentioned earlier, I was very impressed that the meat and vegetables all tasted fresh, and the dishes were basically glowing with the sheen of succulent sauces. I can understand why my uncle, a Tri-Cities native, would call this the best Chinese restaurant in the area. Next time I come visit him, I'll be sure to come back to Golden Wok as well read more

Amazing! We had a long drive and got To our hotel late. They delivered very quickly and correct order! We ordered the family style for 4 people and have more than enough. We ordered 5 platters. I don't recommend the General Tsao chicken. The chicken was hard. Everything else wasn't bad, but it also didn't stand out. On the positive side the food was super hot when we got home which means it must of been cooked fresh. This is an area with not a ton of Asian food choices so you can't be super picky. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Service was good but that's where it ended. Save your money and go to Panda Express if you are wanting to stay in Pasco. BBQ pork with hot mustard: Yoke's has better bbq pork. The meat was flavorless and dry and the mustard looked like it was mixed with something. Steamed dumplings: came out room temperature and tasted like they were heated up in the microwave. The ones at Seoul Fusion and Shiki sushi are way better. Hot and Sour soup: neither hot nor sour :( Chicken fried rice: meh. Wasn't expecting mushrooms, broccoli or an over abundance of saltiness. Tasted and appeared rather oily. Orange chicken: tasted more like Safeway's General Tso chicken that I haven't had since the 90s.... but way over garlicky! No orange flavor whatsoever even though there were orange bits on the plate. Very quaint. The server was friendly and offered us a buy-one-get-one half off on the appetizers, I believe it was an evening special however. Affordable prices, clean restaurant, super kind staff, and they apparently deliver almost anywhere in the Tri-Cities. Thank you for that. Maybe I hit them at a bad time, but my Bourbon Chicken was dried out even covered with sauce. The fried rice and hot and sour soup were lacking the flavor explosion. In my honest opinion, it is just as good if not better than 100% of the places I have been to foreign or domestic. The food portion was abundant. The flavor and texture is amazing.
